They havent gotten that much bigger and its mainly on one!!! WTF I know that they are expected but to be that uneven just b__ws my mind.... all for a good reason.

I got lots of stretchmarks on my b___bs during my first pregnancy. Then the last week of pregnancy produced some tiny ones around my hips. I would say that by 9 months pp the ones around my hips were a silver-white colour...meaning they were hardly distinguishable. The ones on my b___bs faded fot the most part but the big ones are a still a pink colour. I am 12 months pp. I also used lotions starting from the 1st tri....but stretch marks are genetic...no getting around them. Accept them!

wv_red, I know I'm the same way, none on my belly and one of my b___bs has it way worse then the other, too!
Yep, been using the Palmer's Cocoa B___ter stuff day and night (religiously!) since very early on......but there was no stopping it.
It was weird because they really did pop up outta nowhere and since I haven't grown much in that area it was just odd how that was the place I got them........and the pregnancy isn't over yet! I really just got into the third tri :)
We'll get through it ladies!!

Treshala,
Yes I think that when I was pregnant with my first child, my stretch marks got the worse when the baby dropped or it was the very end when I was putting on the most weight the fasted. They say the last month is when you gain weight fast to finish up the process. The fact is that anyone who puts on weight at a fast pace will usually get stretch marks. My husband is a well fit person but I have noticed that on his arms by his arm pits he has some faint stretchmarks from when he would work out and get big then when he would slim down alittle the marks would show. Its normal for stretchmarks and really there is no way around them just keep your skin moisturized for when it does need to stretch it won't get too bad and will be more elastic like to prevent severe marks.

Just a suggestion- I ahve not had to deal with these yet as this is my first, but my cousin was in a really bad car wreck and she had alot of stiches on her face, anyway the plastic surgeon told her that the very best thing to use on your skin is lavender oil. Just plain lavender oil. He said it will help reduce the appearance of any type of scar tissue marks. She used it everyday, and there is only one very tiny spot on her face that you can see any remains of any of the two hundred st_tches that she had. Worked miracles. I am planning on using it during this pregnancy. My SIL used it during hers and she didn't have one lasting mark that was visable. Best of luck with these dumb marks! But they are made out of pure unselfishless love. If they do stick around, they are just a reminder of that. Hope you all have healthy and happy pregnancies! :)

Okay I'm going through this b___b stretch marks too and if they don't make you completely insecure I don't know what will! But I have also heard plenty that they fade after a while after delivery, but HOW LONG IS A WHILE?? I'm ready! And is there anything I can do to make them fade sooner?

i have had strech marks all my life, and i used to just deal with them. but since being prego i have really gotten into the lotions and oils to make the itchys go away. i found one lotion that helps hide the old strech marks and also its helping to ease the new ones! im still getting the new ones but they dont hurt and arent too bad! the lotion is like $3.50 and i got it at walmart. it looks kinda like a fingernail polish remover bottle and it says 'palmers cocoa b___ter formula, with vitamin e, heals & softens rough dry skin, soothes marks, tones skin". it works way better then those $25. bottles!! it took about a week to see results, but i think the results are nice! i swear by it! good luck!

They suck it's genetic. Don't waste too much money- use lotion with vitamin E, then have laser when you're done with kids. I have them. Loofah pads can help them fade if you use them often. Just lather up with lotion after shower/bath.

Vitamin C is supposed to help your skin keep it's elasticity - but I think you need to be loading up on that BEFORE you get stretch marks. I have also heard that it is largely genetic. My sister got them bad - but I never got any with my dd. Now I'm waiting patiently knowing that since this is our last child I'll be sure to get them. :) The marks usually do fade though so don't stress too much about them. A friend of mine had a purple stomach after her son was born - I had never seen anything like it - and now I don't notice a thing.
