sorry it has taken me so long to post this but i have been busy and then had a cold as well. but anyway here is a short run down on how things went I was due july 9th and at about 830 9 pm i satrted having iragular contratctions. so i layed downa nd tryed to rest b/c i figured it was time and i need as much rest as possible. at about 2 am or so contractions where every 6-5 min so i called my mom and we got everything to gether to go to the hospital. we left for the hospital at about 6am contractions where about 4 min apart them. got to the hospital at about 7 am and got taken in to get checked and i was 3 cm the 8th i had been 1 cm so i was making progress. by the time they got me admited and got the doc to come in and check me i was a loose 4 cm so i rested and the contractions where getting very hard so i got checked about at abou 9 or 10 and i was about 5 cm so i got some staydal and rested good for about 2 hrs. when i woke up i felt like i wasnt making enough progress so i had the nurse check me again so i new if things where moving along or not. well i was a loose 5 almost 6cm. i got up and when to the bathroom and blood started running down my leg. so the doc cam in and checkd me and my water hadnt broken yet so he brock it for me and when he broke it i moved right up to 7 cm. so i rested some more and around 330 pm i was hurting bad i felt like i needed to start pushing and my back was hurting bad so i got checked again and i was 8 1/2 cm so i rolled over on my side and it all got worse i hadt to push and couldnt not stop my body from pushin so the nurse cam back and checked me and i was almost 10 i had a lil lip on one side that hadnt finished dilating but by the time i got roled over on my back there was no stoping the pushing. i was telling myself not to but my body was convulsing and pushing anyway. the doc cam in and took the bed apart and i sarted pushing. i pushed for about 15 min and my lil boy came out. as soon as his lil head was out he wimpered and i pushed one more time and he was out the doc suctioned him a lil and he cryed a lil but not alot not like i expected. and the doc layed him up on my tummy and my mom cut the cord. they let he saty with my while i delived the plecenta and while the doc got started on the st_tes. then they took him and got his apgar don and it was a 9. and he doc finished sawing me up. i had a small rip but it was a seconed degree rip and i am telling you now the muscle rip hurts.... but the doc said i riped less then what it would have been if he cut me. but they brought me some food and let the rest of my family in to see him and then they took him to the nursery for about 2 hrs so get him all warmed under the light and get him a bath . while they moved me to my room then they brough him to me. he is gourges. he weighed 7lbs 0 oz and was 20 1/2 in. he is 3 weeks and 4 days old today and 3 days ago we went to the doc and he was 8 lbs 3 1/2 oz and 21 1/2 in so he is growing very fast.... he is even starting to teeth. i know it sounds earlie but i started teething when i was 3 weeks old as well. sorry this wasnt as short as i said it would be but oh well. good luck to the rest of the mommies on here!!! lots of love Danielle and Patrick
