I'm 36 weeks pregnant Tuesday. I recently noticed some light brown discharge, but didn't really think anything of it. I also have been having what feels like the worst period cramps of my life, which is saying something, since I was put on the pill at 16 to deal with severe pains. These pains haven't been consistent, so I do think it's labor, but they also hurt like a son of a gun, making them distinct from the tightening sensations I was experiencing before. What's going on?

Hi! I can tell you from my experience that sometimes early labor feels JUST like bad menstral cramps. I had my membranes stripped during my last pregnancy and started getting mentstral like cramps. I thought it was just normal cramping (like what you get after an internal exam). Turns out, they were actually contractions. I would just watch to see if they get more regular....Maybe call the dr....Just to be on the safe side.
