Hey ladies. This might be a little TMI but last night after having s_x the left side of my va___a got really swollen. Today it is still swollen and feels like there is a huge knot in it. It hurts to sit and walk. It's only the left side and it's so much bigger then the other side. I'm starting to get a little worried! Has this every happened to anyone else? Should I go to the ER or Dr? I don't get to see my new Dr on March 3 since I switched insurance companies.....HELP!

Hi, I felt like I got really swollen after a bikini wax the other day, but I felt fine the next day. I would maybe give your new doc a ring and speak to a nurse. They will know whether you should go in or not. You could always go into ER inf it gets worse..l hope you feel better.

yes this has happened to me before after s_x during my pregnancy....twice. but it was the whole c___toral area. the reason was b/c we were jumping into s_x too fast before letting me get "lubed" up completely. (being too anxious i guess lol) i wouldnt go to the ER about it but i know how uncomfy it is. when it happened to me i just sat in some cool water for a while lol. and put on a big shirt w/ no panties. it will stop

if it makes u feel any better my "area" is swollen in the morning when i wake up. it feels a lot bigger than it should be down there (sorry tmi) but as long as its not itchy and your not having an abnormal amount of discharge that is smelly and/or has a color i wouldnt worry. the blood flow swells everything. good luck
