I will be 35 weeks tomorrow and this mornign I started to have these weird feelings. I could feel a throbbing in my right hip and lower back on the right everytime my pelvis area got sore. Each time it lasted only a few seconds (maybe 3 seconds) and then went away. they repeated about 4 times and now they are gone. I was wondering if others thoguht it was just the baby pressing on a nerve. Since I have never had a baby before I don't know what contractions feel like, but I am assuming this was not them. I have been told that contracttions stop you in your tracks. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks

It doesn't sound like contractions - they either feel like period cramps with backache or are pretty extreme and don't go away. It's most likely baby pushing on a nerve or something. I found that I got all sorts of weird aches and pains being pregnant. :)
