Chris1975, LOL you sound like me but I don't have nausea. Believe me when I say this that labor will be a breeze after going throughj constant pain and all the motions of the pregnancy or it should not be too bad. Like u said. at least it will have an end. I am 36 almost 37 weeks and on my 4th child. I can not wait to have this baby and we are for sure done after this. My dh thinks he understands the pain and everything I am going through because he has to hold my hand and listen to it all but he has no clue. All I gotta say is that I am usually the sweetest person even when in pain which includes labor but this time I might not be so sweet. I have been so extremely p__sed off at the world that I think I might be cussing and really grouchy this time in labor. I don't feel bad one bit for my dh if I am because he seems to think he is going through the same pain and I am about to make sure he gets his end of pain. I love my dh with all my heart but man am I in a rage right now and I think most of it is stemming from wanting to have this sweet little baby.

Robyn, congrats on Justin's arrival!!! Hope you feel better quickly. Monica, it's great to hear from you, hang in there, things will get easier. As for being miserable, I'm with you gals. I have had 2 nights in a row where I was up every hour on the hour from the time I went to bed at 9 until about 4, then I slept till 7. Is anyone else incredibly thirsty? It's a vicious cycle, I wake up so thirsty, drink a gla__s of water, go pee, go back to sleep then wake up an hour later and the process starts over. And Kristin, I too feel like my pelvis may break at any moment. Sorry to complain, I"m just ready to get this over with! March 4th (my induction date if I don't deliver before) won't be here soon enough!!!

Hello ladies! Robyn congrats on the new bundle of joy!!! So happy to hear everything is great and can't wait to see some pictures!!!! Monica- i'm glad things are going well for you other than needing more sleep and having to do alot of the work by yourself now!!! (atleast while hubby is at work) but as we are all experiencing now (those of us who are still pregnant) we can definately tell we are nearing the end with the pain and agony... Believe me i am the same way. Although i do have to say you have more pains than i do.. i just started getting some back aches and i do not have to get up in the middle of the night for any bathroom breaks... but hang in there ladies... We are almost done. I feel bad for wishing for it to be over sometimes because i am 36 weeks this week and i am like only 4 more weeks of being pregnant and then who knows when i'll actually be able to experience being pregnant again... don't get me wrong i am so ready to meet my little girl but at the same time it is like i'm at the end now and it is kind of sad... Kristin and Chris i call you two to be the next to deliver.. there is my bet... CHING CHING! i put my money in!!! =) I then think Brandy will be in third place!!! We'll see if i'm right!!!! Anyone else gonna place bets on the table?? Come on!!!! Come on!!! =)

I remember when I was up every hour on the hour. Don't worry ladies, it's your bodies way of preparing you for newborn feedings. You think you get no rest now?? Just wait!! HAHAHAHA. Kristin - try sleeping on the couch. If you lay on your side with your back into the back of the couch, it may help relieve some of your discomfort. I know that was the only way I could sleep there at the end. As for the swollen ankles, well, keep them elevated!! I am so exited to hear about all of your up coming births!! Who is next?? Brandy, are you next?? Chris, where do you fall?? No one really knows........I mean, a due date is only an estimate right?? OH, the excitment is building for you ladies. It seems like the twins where born so long ago!! HAHAHA. OH, Shane's belly b___ton fell off yesterday! Just waiting for Shelby's to fall now. Okay, I am off to take a nap. I am sooo TIRED!!! Love you all!!!

Congratulations Robyn!!! So exciting. Melissa, I'm sorry your intestines are giving you such problems. That is absolutely no fun. April, thanks for the encouragement. I'm glad I'm not the only one who didn't marry Prince Charming. He's pretty close but definitely has his times. And, to clear it up, since I do stay home all day most days of the week, and he is at work and at school all day 5 days a week and working on side jobs on the weekends, that I think it is really nice of me to keep up the house and do his laundry and feed him to show how much I appreciate him taking on the additional responsibility since I lost my job and chose to not get another one. But anyway I know I don't need to defend myself to my wonderful ladies here. I love you guys! The pelvic pain sucks! I've gotten it the past three days where it feels like her head is like grinding or something. Ouch! Really causes the waddle. Monica, congratulations on surviving your first few days alone! I am so nervous about those days coming and I'll only have one baby. :) Kristin I am so sorry to hear you're hurting so badly. I hurt but not nearly what you're going through. It sounds like the baby will be here soon and you can get some relief! I hope hope hope he comes early for you!! And Chris, what are you doing here still? I thought for sure since we hadn't seen you in a little while that maybe, just maybe, baby boy decided to get here. Get crackin' girl! I hope he pops out here soon. You've had so much pain for so long, you deserve an early delivery (and an easy one!!). Brandy, yes I drink my entire water bottle during the night and it holds 64 ounces of water. I wake up and need a drink...which leads to needing to pee sometimes, which leads to extreme pain as I turn over and climb over my snoogle pillow... vicious cycle!!

Well I'm back from my ob visit and I'm 2cm dilated already! She also strip my cervix and that was brutal. I never had that done .My ob says anywhere from now til two weeks I should go into labor before edd. I am getting nervous. Ever since she strip my cervix, the baby has dropped and my muscles around the ribcage is sore. There is a baby shower for me and my two sisters in law, I'm just hoping I can hold out til then. I'm going to pack the hospital bag now, Holy Moly ! Erica

Wow Erica! Congrats! Hopefully that membrane stripping doesn't take effect too quickly so you can make it to your baby shower! I am having my first baby shower Saturday and I'm getting excited. It's so nice to have someone do something like that for me and I haven't had to do any work for any of it-- I just get to show up. Talk about feeling pampered! When is your baby shower Erica?

Oh and where are my manners? Geez. Welcome Mahagen! This is a great group of women to hang out with! I kind of feel you on the labor. Since this is my first baby I don't think my husband knows what he's in for. He's actually threatened to bring the laptop to the birth... whew that set me off. I get mad so easily lately. He's probably looking forward to his wife coming back-- I know I'm looking forward to getting my patience back. And I am ready to get this little girl out! C'mon March 24th.

Wow, after all that's going on, I almost forgot - I went to the ob today and he's talking about inducing NEXT WEEK!! Baby Jack's still doing fine; it's a precautionary thing - wanting to get him out before he gets bigger and "taxes the system." (The system being my body) They're supposed to call me about an exact date and time soon. I'm like holy c___p! I'm really going to have a real baby, and it could be NEXT WEEK! I know if I were seeing a midwife, they probably wouldn't be talking induction, since everything seems to be fine. I also know my doctor's office induces 80% of the time. I don't know; I'm both excited about the prospect of having him soon and hesitant because I'm not sure it wouldn't be better to wait a while longer before making him come out. What do y'all think? My brain is all in a twist about it right now. - April

I thought baby Jack was small? Or on the smaller side? why would they induce you if he is on the smaller side? Or am i missing something?? Either way i hope he is a happy baby!!! I do totally understand the fear of knowing he could be here next week but also like OMG he could be here next week... I have them same emotions... but i won't find anything out if at all until my ob appt on Thursday!!! Welcome Mahagen!!!! Glad to have you here!!!! I read the February thread from time to time just to see how they are all doing considering they are where i will be next month!!! it is quite interesting!!!

Hey there ladies, I hear you on the discomfort, pelvic grinding, constant need to pee etc...
April, I understand why you are feeling so hesitant, as exciting as it is to have your little one come early it's also hard not to want him to bake a little longer. Ultimately you have to trust your doc that he's doing everything to your and the baby's benefit.
On the very exciting front, I got the baby's furniture delivered today and set up, it is so cute. Also my rocker/glider couldn't have come at a better time to sooth my sore muscles, going to try it out now!

Astra you lucky duck! I want my baby furniture. I spent the day mudding baby's room until I ran out of joint compound. Someone majorly messed up the texture and I don't feel like totally re-drywalling so I am taking the easy way out and beadboarding the bottom and mudding the top to try to hide it. I think it will work out well. Once that's done then I can get some furniture. Running out of time! Speaking of running out of time, wow that's soon April! I would be nervous if I were you, too. I keep saying I want Claire to be fully baked just to avoid any possible problems. My body is a lot more stable and strong than her little body. I've heard good and bad things about induction so I don't know what I'd do if I were given a choice. It would be great to get to go early and know the exact day she'll be here but some don't go so smoothly. Either way, I'm sure Jack will be fine and so will you. You'll make the right decision. :) K2 I also eavesdrop on the February forum. Some of those girls crack me up. And once they get out of here it'll really be our turn! Hehehe. How is your heart doing lately? You haven't mentioned it in a while. Hopefully everything is going good with it!

hey sarah- yeah them girls are pretty funny on the february forum. It is crazy that we got some february babies our of our march forum!!! and some of them still haven't had their babies yet!!! But it could be any day now for all of us... which is really just crazy! my heart has been alright. it goes in spurts where i feel it more sometimes and other times i don't feel the palpitations as much... but neither of the drs seems very concerned about it other than it is just pregnancy related and should stop once baby Brooklynn is here... we still don't have our baby room completely finished yet either so don't worry sarah! you're not the only one!!! =) You are a little busy body i tell you! you're always doing something active around the house aren't you!?!? =) But i did get all her clothes washed and put away and now just gotta finish putting up her crib and putting together her ba__sinett and the glider/rocker... but my boyfriend is going to do all of it! He says it is the only way he feels like he can really help (besides like carrying groceries and such) but he says it makes him feel like he is doing something.. i keep telling him he needs to get to it.. i wanted her room done before February and now look at us!!! but i am SURE he will have it all done this weekend!!!! =)

Yeah I am a busy body when I'm home for a couple reasons. 1) I am still nesting and it's getting worse, 2) we actually have some good income lately so I've had money to buy materials I need to get the projects done, 3) dang we've had a lot of births for our March moms already, more to come soon, and it's sinking in that it will eventually be my turn and I don't want all these unfinished projects around when baby gets here. I got a lot of my energy back lately so I've been enjoying it. I felt so lazy for so long and hated it about myself and I feel so much better when I keep busy. Plus it pa__ses the time when I'm home alone. We have rabbit ears, no cable, and there is only so much court TV I can watch and I hate soap operas so gotta find something to do...

hey again everyone! Yes im still here (bummer!) hehehe....every morning i say that to myself hoping for something more to happen! lol.... Wow Sarah - i dont know where you find energy. I have absolutely zero energy ! My nesting phase basically involved telling my husband where to move/clean everythinng! hahaha. But hes been wonderful. I cant even drive anymore it hurts so much to move my legs, so dh is my taxi when i want to go to shops hehe.... Monica - my official due date is March 8th, but all u/s have bub 2 weeks earlier , and seeing as hes loving banging my cervix these days, im hoping he wants out as much as i want him out! :) Mahagen - good to hear from you again...its been a while :) Its nice to have everyone together for the finale!!! Also glad im not the only grumpy uncomfortable one here! hahaha.
