i am not sure what that is. i am not sore down yonder but perhaps you did some physical labor that caused you to be sore? or maybe its your ligaments stretching and preparing......maybe mention it to doc but more in likely nothing serious. good luck.

YES! i am 32 weeks, and it is terrible! i have had this on and off since about 24 weeks, and it comes and goes. it feels like all of my muscles that are attached to the pubic area are screaming and aching at the same time, and walking is incredibly painful some days. i hope it gets better for you, but i've heard this is a common pregnancy ailment.

I had that problem at around 30 weeks too. It lasted for a few weeks, and I asked my doctor about it and he just said it was due to ligament stretching and all that fun stuff.
It is fairly common in pregnancies. But I am now 36 weeks and it has gone away a bit, but if I do lots of walking in a day, or strenuous stuff, it tends to act up again.
Hope you feel better soon!

Sims I was going to post the same question!!! It feels like I have been riding a horse for 3+ days thats how sore I am! I hope it goes away cause it hurts like hell and is not very good for the waddle factor either! As long as it is normal I suppose there is nothing fo rme to do but suck it up and hurt.... *sigh* Thanks for posting this!

It's related to the round ligaments. I had the pain in the groin area first and now it has definitely radiated to the v____al area. Sorry to say I'm 38.4 weeks and it's only getting worse. Now it's hard to sleep on my side because it puts pressure.

omg, sarah, it has gotten worse. wv_red, that's exactly how it feels like riding a horse for too many days. i thought it would get a bit better, but i woke up this morning to it being really painful. and now i know the waddle isn't from the weight it's the freakin pain in the crotch. it's shocking, i didn't expect it. anyone also getting pain in the ribs, just from the wieght of the belly pulling?? i swear, these next two months are goign to be long.

Yes, Sims, my rib area hurt almost from 4 months until end of eight. The baby was never that high but from the pulling, ugh! That has subsided somewhat but now I'm in the sore "hooha" stage! I was goning to say I've felt like I've been riding a bike for a few days, but a horse works too! I've only got 2 1/2 wks to go, so I'm trying to take it as a positive sign!

So I started having this pain at 22 weeks or so (and am now 27) I explained to my doc that it felt like I just landed on the bar of a boys bike or something. She told me that we have a huge chunk of cartilage in that area that can really be affected by 'relaxin' (sp) during pregnancy. In some women the pubic bone actually separates which is EXTREMELY painful - I don't think that's whats going on with you - it sounds similar to what was going on with me. So - I have found that baths really help, and a pillow between my knees too. YOU ARE NOT ALONE :)
