i don't think losing my plug or pieces of it is doing anything tho. nothing so far :( alicia is at the doc and shes being checked for pre e. her bp was kinda high and she had protein in her urine. i hope she is ok. i have to redo all my tests for it too starting tomorrow i have to do that 24 hr urine test again. yuck.

ok, I'm closed as a cuc_mber. casey is not coming this week either. I'm not surprised though, I told you guys that. doc said she guesses casey is about 8 lbs already!!! she said they won't let me go too past my due date b/c of her size so that's good news I guess, at least I won't be waiting around 2 weeks past like some peeps might....where the F is everyone today??

Good evening ladies! Sorry I haven't been posting. Mornings have been kinda busy, so evening after the kids go to bed seems to be the only time. Gabbi, I am glad you got on here to post-I was wondering about you! Being closed doesn't mean you are gonna go past due. Have you never heard of all the women that have been closed or a one and then went into labor that night!?Just be optimistic, but aren't you tired of everyone saying "She'll come when she's ready" I just wanna punch those people in the face. Well today, I thought I might be leaking fluid so I went to L and D to get checked. Well my bag is intact.........But.......in five days I have gone from a fingertip to a 3-3.5 cm dilated!!! It's kinda bittersweet. I wanted to dilate, but I just want my hubby home. However, I do know from past experiences being this dilated does NOT mean birth is gonna come tomorrow or anything. Its just startling to hear 3.5 cm come outta someones mouth after 2 weeks of just a fingertip. But I go to my reg doc on Thursday. Watch him say I'm just a 2-that would figure. If I am more dilated on Thursday, I might call hubby home and do something I dread and thats the i-word. I would rather be induced than have him miss the birth. Danielle, any contractions or anything? Wouldn't it be funny if we all turned into July mommies instead of August. Only 2 more days for sweet little Alicia. I can't wait for those baby pics!!!!

Hey everyone. Sorry i haven't been on in a few days. I kinda had a crazy day yesterday. I went in at 8am for my last u/s and check up before Mason comes on Friday and the doc found some high levels of protein in my urine, whihc could be preclampsia so she sent me over to the hospital for more test. So I called my hubby and he was gettn ready to go on a field trip and he said well should I go. The doc said that if I test postive for it I will have Mason today. Which was a huge shock. I told him we would know in an hr. So I go to the L&D and I pee again and they take blood then hook me up for a NST. And Jeremy calls again. His mom is almost there and he has gone home to get our bags... usually I am the one freakn out but i was pretty calm. I told him we dont know what the test will say yet. Anyways my MIL and FIL get there ready for a baby and my test come negative for preclampsia which is wonderful. Anyways poor jeremy was so happy to be a dad yesterday that it kinda put him in a bad mood....lol. But oh well. So I came home and finished everything I needed done just in case Mason decides to play anymore jokes.

Patti-CONGRATULATIONS on jessica ann! i didn't even remotely know u were in labor! i haven't lost anymore plug dang it, i had contractions about 15 min apart for over 3 hours yesterday but once again, GONE. i sat on my yoga ball and bounced around last night trying to get something going but i just felt lots of pressure down there. nothing happened. i didn't sleep at all last night tho, i don't know why, i have been sleeping better. i slept maybe an hour total. alicia, just a few more days!!! i bet you can't wait!!! i know i am ready now.

Danielle, I don't think anyone knew Patti was in labor!! I think Jessica Ann is a cute name though. I can't wait to hear the story. Pretty soon we are all gonna have one! I am feeling a lot of pressure too, but the L and D nurse also had her hand shoved way up there yesterday. Yikes! What helped me lose my plug with my oldest daughter was racing my son up and down the driveway! Just chase your kids around :-)

Danielle let me know that the site wasn't doing the pop ups as much now, and my home computer loaded the site with no problem!!!! yahhh! I have missed following everyone's progress. AND I see Patti is our official first!!!!! Congratulations on Jessica Ann!!!!!! Wow, it feels so good to be able to post again.

yay ur back! lol. i just took a nice walk about a 1/2 mile and everybody said wow u look miserable! duh!!!! im ready to pop! im ready for a nap. make up for my lost sleep. it feels so much better outside today than it has, low 80s and not nearly as humid as the last week or two. i can handle this, lol. but last week going outside made me sick and nauseaus.

An update on me for anyone that doesn't know........I have been on leave for the past 2 weeks due to a lot of swelling in my feet and ankles that became really painful. Brynley is as snug as a bug in there and is making no effort to join the outside world. I went yesterday for my 38 week checkup and she was measuring at 7 lbs even. The doc told us that we could anticipate somewhere around an 8 lb baby. I did test positive for strep b, but I am not so worried about that as I was at first. One of my best friends had it, and she had no complications what so ever, so she has calmed me down a lot!! I haven't been able to sleep more than an hour or two for so long that I forgot what it feels like to not wake up. I don't even have to pee when I wake up, I'm just hurting or my arm went to sleep or something else trivial. It sucks!! but I know it will be worth it the minute I hold my baby girl!!

Oh yeah, back in June, Keith and I went to have maternity pics made. I refused to show my belly, but they are posted on myspace if you want to check them out. I'm kind of partial, but I think they are adorable!!

i saw them they are so cute! jamey doesn't want me to have pics made pregnant! he is not one of those men that likes pregnant women! i know the feeling of not being able to sleep cuz of stupid things, mine is usually to pee or cuz my right hand went to sleep and is numb. or i have to turn over which is a chore, lol. jamey always wonders why it takes me so long to roll over, lol.

Haha gabbi! Yup Patti had her baby at 641 am weighing in at 6lbs14oz. Jessica Ann. I think that we might have a wrong number for you. Have you gotten any texts from anyone ever? I actually slept last night Danielle!! My RLS only kept me awake for about an hour and I was out. Man everytime I stand up it feels like she is gonna fall out! Leah, so glad you're back!

Congats patti!!! yay... will i be one of the only augest moms? wow cant belive we have started.. I have been feeling kinda blah the last two days severe back pain and cramping comming and going but i feel alot better toaday still not sleeping too great... i had my shower on sunday got a bunch of cute things just need to do tons of laundry now cant wait to set up her room...hope everyone is doing good you guys have been kinda quiet

Hi ladies! Wow we are all getting close aren't we? I am on the count down now and hope I dont come too late and have to be induced. I am due Aug 9th and feel pretty blah! Sick most mornings - like morning sickness is back which sucks haha! Really tired, trouble sleeping due to killer reflux that BURNS all the way up - but nothing new to anyone being pregnant I am sure so I will stop whinging haha. I got the nursery all organised yesterday and it kind of hit me 'I am going to be a mummy!' - I know that sounds stupid but it really became real! hee hee...cant wait to see all the birth stories to come! Oh and congratulations Patti! :)
