Leah, you're husband sounds like a real keeper. I had to put on the eyeball dams for that one. I would like to extend my sympathy for such harsh words from a family member though. That is just awful, although I know your grandma is old and probably not fully aware of what she is saying, it's hard not to take everything personally, especially right now! If I am eating sometimes my stepdad will make pig noises (and the history there is he used to do that too when I was a kid and impressionable and sensitive and both my sister and I suffered mild complexes for it, although we shrug about it now). Well, at least now when he makes those noises I can tell him the Shut the hell up and tell him he could stand to lose some poundage himself without getting smacked across the face. Plus now my mom will tell him to stop, whereas when I was a kid and it probably mattered more, she kept her mouth shut. That's a tangent though and I love my stepdad now and he would do anything in the world for me. ANYWAYS, try not to let it get you down. You are beeeautiful and pregnant. So there! Alicia, I can always depend on you to make me smile. I got real close to my computer and now I feel better. Thankyou very much. :-) My poor husband hasn't slept since night before last! He drove to Lousiana after getting some machinery ready to go in Houston last night. Got to LA at about 2 in the morning, hopped on a crew boat for 2 hours to take him to a rig and then he called me at 6:30 this morning saying he was on a jack boat (whatever that is) cutting pipe. Poor little guy. I hate to say this though, but that's a helluva lot of overtime though! I wish I could just hug him right now though. Ah, eyeball dams-quick!

morning girls! how is everyone? well my test was HELL yesterday! i don't think i did well. and i have my lab test tomorrow! i should be studying but i am so tired and stressed i cant focus. mommam, i wish i had an ex like that but if i did my husband would think something was up! lol, i would too tho, honestly if his ex was all into buying stuff, we're both pretty jealous, not good sometimes tho. i swear chloe got a hold of my nerves yesterday and was going crazy all day! i am sooooo sleepy, i slept last night ok, but i dreamed weird dreams all night, so it wasn't arestful sleep. erin, im sorry, your hubby is so far away! i hate that for you and sb. hopeful, my dads side of the family is really big, and my mom, to this day tells me i am too big now, and should lose weight cuz she doesn't want me to be like them. i hate that for you tho, it does make you feel like sh*t.

Erin I'm glad I could put a smile on your face... So orginally i was told I got NO paid maternity leave. well I called our benifets office today and I get 6-8 weeks PAID!!! I was like heck yea.... Lately things ahve been going great.... Just hope something doesn't come in and smash them down...lol And Idk what my ex was thinking... I guess he was like that could of been my son...lol. BUt I would never get w/ him again and him and Jeremy are friends... He even bought the oprange one since Jeremy is a vols fan....

well i guess if my ex and husband were friends it would be different. lol. but my husband hates my last ex and doesn't know any of the others soooo, yeah it wouldn't go over to well with him, lol. my hubby is a vols fan too! of course he is from tn, lol. I am sooo happy! i got a 139 on my final out of 200, so all i need now is a 38 out of 100 on my lab test tomorrow to get my C and not have to retake that horrible awful cla__s! whew!!!!! our teacher told us the first day, that this cla__s was harder than any nursing cla__s we would ever take! i am thinking she is probably going to be right. i can't wait to start nursing cla__ses this spring! if i get in anyway, but i think i can. it will be so exciting! i want to help deliver those babies!!!

Once again Alicia, totally rad about the paid leave. Stuff like that makes me wish I weren't self employed. Congrats on the test Danielle. I thought about going back to school at one time, but with having to work and the kids, etc. There would be no way my brain could take it. So my hat is off to you. My sister went to school to finish her prereqs for nursing while she was pregnant. I cannot even remember where I am going sometimes, so remember anatomy and c___p like that-no way.

i wonder how i have any time to do it myself! lol, but when i am this broke, and can't get out of the hole, it makes me want it that much more! i want my own house, and a new car, and a place for my kids to go out and play that they can do what they want! i can't wait to be done tho.

mommaminchey - May 14

Yeah the paid time off is really going to help us out. I was really bummed at first that they didn't pay but I am glad I asked around and finally got ahold of someone who knew what they were talking about....

gabbysally - May 14

hey girlies :) today I'm so uncomfortable and irritable. but we're going to pick up our new cars tonight so I'm a little excited for that. I'm just in a baaaad mood today. hey, didn't katie get married this past weekend? so how is everyone? I have to catch up on my reading but I did see that alicia is free from diabetes! that's awesome! I just ate french fries and a mcflurry from mcdonalds and it made me so full and yucky feeling.

gabbysally - May 14

gosh, it seems all I do is complain nowadays. ekay, sorry to hear you're so down in the dumps and missing hubby. but it's worth it and it's not forever! but you guys are so strong for being without them, and you ekay with kids already! I would be a basketcase/depressed maniac so I give you ladies a lot of credit.

mommaminchey - May 14

I agree with Gabbi. I have no clue how I could do it. I don't like it when Jeremy has a softball/ basketball or any type of game after work. If he isn'y home by 6:45pm I feel so alone...lol And my Mom and brother are there... It's just different when it's your husband. And I think you guys are doing a great job... I did want to add that the last week my feet have been so swollen. I can literaly feel water swooshing around in them when I walk.... lol. Ok maybe not but that is what it seems like....

gabbysally - May 14

don't worry, I have swoooooooooollen feet also. in the morning they're my usual cute feet/ankles :) when i get home from work they're enormous.

gabbysally - May 14

oh, I'm excited. one of the doctor's at my clinic just asked me if I was pregnant (duh) and then asked me how far along I was. when I told her almost 29 weeks she said I looked great and not like was I was 29 weeks! whew hew!

mommaminchey - May 14

Mine are the same way. They look like little winner dogs. And they even hurt sometimes when I touch them. I am not looking forward to the hot hot hot weather we will be having.

Hopeful3 - May 14

I am sure that you ladies are done for the day, but I just woke up and wanted to check in. I hope you all had a good day. One good thing about 3rd is I sleep as much as I want, and still have time to cook before I have to be at work. Tonight I am fixing a salad. Sort of like a taco salad except I am using grilled chicken instead of beef. I have the salad shells (like at the resaraunts) to just make it so much better. I have been doing fairly good on eating healthy this past week. I did give in Sunday though to some chocolate, caramel, coconut cookies. Ahhhh, they were heaven too!!! Other than that, all baked foods, fresh fruits and veggies, limited sugar in drinks, but mostly water, and, except for Sunday, no junk food. Maybe my total weight gain by August won't be too bad if I can keep this healthy eating up. It's a nice dream anyway.
