What do bh feel like? When do they usually start?

I had my first braxton hicks contractions at almost 27 weeks. They felt like menstrual cramps but no too strong. They last about a minute or so and come and go without any routine. I have noticed I get them when I stand up or get off the toilet. I have also noticed them when I come up and down the stairs at work.

hmmm... is that what that is? When I stand-up or am being pretty active, I feel this pressure down there intermitently...it doesn't hurt...it just feels like pressure (or I guess, maybe tightening) and makes me feel like I have to pee a little worse.

I'm almost 32 weeks, so yeah, I'm getting pretty close. :) Aren't you due around now? Good luck with everything!! And, don't forget to come back and let us know how everything goes and how that beautiful little girl is doing :)

This has been happening to me at night, and once or twice it has happened during the day: I get a tightness in my lower belly. Specifically, it feels like my bladder is cramping up. So the first few times it happened I went pee- thinking my bladder was about to burst. But getting back in bed, the feeling was still there. It would last a few more minutes then just go away. Are these BH do you think? It's just strange that it feels like it's my bladder. I was expecting a whole belly kind of crampy-thing for BH.

I normally get mine higher in my abdomen. I woke myself up this morning around 5:30 cause I was whining in my sleep. They say they aren't supposed to be painful and I wouldn't really describe them as painful but they sure aren't comfortable. To me it feels like I went to the gym and worked out my abdomen for like 3hours and now my stomach muscles are all tight and I just can't get them to relax. I always find myself unconsciously trying to push my belly out to relax those muscles. lol I'm only having about 2 a day but I'm also only 28w4d.

Mine are so uncomfortable. I normally only get them in my lower stomach. This is my third pregnancy and it has been different with all the pregnancies.

Lately I've been noticing that it feels like someone punched me in the stomach and all my air is knocked out and everything just feels sucked in for a little bit...it's not painful...and I can't really feel that much hardness in my stomach. Do you think these are braxton hicks? It's the only thing I can figure out.
