ok im 36 weeks 5 days and like 2 days ago i cleaned my room ALL day and my room was a disaster area so it really needed to be done lol but when i finally finished (like 11:30 at night!) i felt horrible. i had this constant ache in my lower back that wouldnt go away and i was cramping but it didnt seem to go away and come back like contractions are supposed to it was just constant. ive never had and braxton hicks that i know of so do you think thats what it might of been or could it have been real contractions even? and also the next day when i went to the bathroom there was a little mucousy discharge on the toilet paper that was yellowish green could that have been part of my mucuos plug?

Sounds like part of your mucus plug and that is normal to lose. I have been losing bits and pieces of mine for weeks and weeks (I am 33 weeks) and it regenerates. As for the backache, it sounds like you might have just overdone it. It doesn't sound like BH to me (and I've had some good ones) so you might have just been moving too much. Definitely mention it to your Dr. but as long as you're not still feeling the pains and they are not at regular intervals I'd say you're fine.

I'm 36 weeks and 6 days and going thru the same thing!! I posted a thread about it elsewhere, i think under labor and delivery. Has your baby dropped? Everyone that I've talked to says that I'll probably be going into labor within a week or so. So i'll say the same to you but don't hold your breath-I was also told someone went thru this "stage" for a good 6 weeks! Good luck!!

That happened to me in my last few weeks with my first pregnancy anytime I overdid it too. I don't think it was BH or real contractions, just what happens when you work too hard in the last few weeks. Even now (at 29 wks) I get cramps and backache if I walk around for too long or work out too hard.

Oh also just a good way to tell if you're having contractions is if your uterus feels harder than normal to the touch. These days the belly is so tight it's hard to tell sometimes. I bet you are having BH and just don't notice them (lucky duck).
