Im working on the nursery this weekend also, i figure i should start getting it done now because im feeling more and more tired everyday! We're painting the walls blue and brown. Im so excited to start putting everything in it. The crib still had to be a__sembled, but we might wait til next weekend for that, i work all weekend so i dont have a whole lot of time. Anyone else still working? If so hows that going for you? Plan on stopping soon?

I am still working and plan to work up until the very end. I did so last time with my first pregnancy. I am on light duty b/c of the pregnancy so its pretty easy, I just sit at a desk. I dont know if I could be on my feet all day for work.

My plan is to work until the 25th of November...it is more likely to be looking to the 21st of November. The baby room is pretty much done. There are some last minute things because I put them on my registry. My 19 year old cousin has been a huge help because she is so excited for him to come. The next ultrasound is this Friday. I hope you are all doing well.

hi ladies, sorry I have been MIA...Work is hectic now. I have been doing 60 hour weeks the past month and am wiped out.
Anyway let me catch up real quick. Colleen, maybe that little bit of honey didn't/won't affect your glucose test. I am
sorry you had to put one of your dogs down. It is soo hard to lose a member of the family. I got all worked up when one
of our cats died and she wasn't even my favorite, but she was part of the family. I also take a prenatal, a fish oil pill
(they say the Omega 3 really helps with brain development), 2 viactiv a day (I can't stand milk), and I am hypothyroid so I
have to take Levoxyl for that. LOL all the vitamins in the am and the thyroid med at night since they are not supposed to
be mixed. Bilmes congrats on the little girl! Jess, I am sorry you are having a rough time right now. I hope that maybe your
problems with dh are made a bit worse than they really are because of the pg hormones? I hope things clear up, now is not a time
to be stressed or depressed. If it is something that you could talk with dh about that might be a good idea. Tara, good luck with
the glucose test! It is a good one to get done and out of the way!!! I hate that test. I too am feeling tired early. I also am
feeling a lot of discomfort down there like the baby is pushing my pelvic bones apart. Every time I get up from sitting it hurts.
My back as well. LOL I am falling apart now that I have hit the third trimester! Jess and Colleen you guys are super lucky if your
dr.'s will let you go two weeks early...my first was three weeks early, but when we moved to where we live now I had to change doctors
and this one is adament that the baby will NOT be any earlier than a week. I totally agree about hitting 3o weeks! It makes you feel
like the end is in sight! I too have almost non existent b___bs normally, but they get a bit bigger and definately more firm when pg.
DH always asks my why I have to lose the b___bs when I lose all the other weight. He also is not a sentamentalist tonight he had the gall to
call me fatty. I socked him good when he wasn't expecting it for that comment! LOL I see you have your date now.....lol I type in words so I can
read down the list and reply as I read (which is why my posts kind of look funny too) We have our nursery done. We started working on finishing off
3/4's of our bas____nt in May this year and finished it around the beginning of september. We put the nursery and our bedroom down there so it is painted
and crib & stuff is in there, but I haven't yet got anything on the walls. We are using our bedding & stuff from Tabby, but Tabby's decorations when she
was a baby were Care Bears and she is still very into them so she still has all of that stuff on her walls. I need to think about what to do for Ember.

OK ladies that post was getting long. So I will finish up with this one.ebaby I am still working. For me it is one of the busiest times of the year for
me. I am a tax accountant and I have two weeks left of the deadline for everyone who extended their tax returns. I have been working 60 plus hours a week the past month and have 2 weeks left before things go back to normal! I am exhausted, but the extra money comes in
handy this close to Christmas! I also plan on working right up till the day before my delivery.
I did with Rory as well. That is one of the benefits of the c-section! ebaby, I bet it is really hard to be a nurse and work right up till the end. I get tired if I have to stand on my feet for more than a couple of hours a day (that's what happens when you spend 12 hours a day at work and you work at a desk....I can't wait to get back into shape again! the only excercise I get right now is a quick
lap around the pool with the puppy and I walk up and down the 5 flights of stairs to my office every day. Oh wow that last post looks horrible. I will try to fix this one up so it isn't so big and awful looking. Sorry guys! So besides working not much else to mention. I did go to the hospital last Sunday morning because after I got out of bed and was standing at the door waiting for the pup to go potty, I felt a gush of something wet
run down my leg. I immediately thought I was miscarrying, and pulled my pant leg up quick to see if it was red, but thankfully it was clear. My doctor said i could possibly have broken my water(at which I panicked only being 28 weeks
and also not supposed to go into labor naturally) long story short it turned out to be nothing. They said it could have been a one time membrane rupture or the baby just sat on my bladder just right. I did get to take another peek at her though because the wanted to take a look and make certain that everything looked normal and she measured in at almost 3lbs. in the 64th percentile. She's going to be a big one too! Well I will try to catch up more often so I don't leave these ma__sive posts. In two weeks for sure I will be far more regular! Glad everyone is feeling well!

Hey Bryandi- I really hope works slows down for you soon. I cant imagine working 60 hours a week now. I am dead tired working 40!!! I dont thin my DH problem is in my head. I havent confronted him yet, partly b/c Im scared them I would have to take action, most likely leaving. I would be 7 months pregnant with a 2yr old and have to figure out what we were going to do. Im not sure I have the engery to do it, as bad as that sounds. I think I just dont really want to know the truth right now, I cant handle it......

jess - im sorry to hear things aren't going well with your husband! But i know how you feel about about not having the energy to do anything about it, i feel the same way in a few situations im going through! But sometimes problems work themselves out, and if not, you can always do what you need to do when your more up to it! But for your sake i really hope things work out for you!

Colleen, I am so sorry to hear about your pup. That's so sad, my heart goes out to you and I hope your coping OK. I also got my gest. diabetes test resuts back, and everything thankfully turned out just fine. Have also had my rogan shot, because of being a-. That sugar test was a doozy. At the end of it my face was as white as I've ever seen it and my hands were shaking. I finally finished registering. I've never registered for anything before and found it very strange to list out such a lengthly and expensive list of items that I expect to receive. I felt so greedy/ pitiful putting things on the list. I'm trying to get the nursery furniture chosen, you'd think picking out white furniture would be easy, well... not for indecisive me. I keep eyeing the gliders- they are sooo comfortable... Any of you girls plan on using one, or have experience using one? October 2nd is the next US. Just looking forward to that. Everyone have a wonderful day!

Jess- good luck at your ultrasound tomorrow, you must be excited. Is it just to follow up b/c the baby is measuring ahead? Do you think the dh issue will sort itself out after the baby comes? Maybe he's just having a temporary insanity thing? I completely know what you mean about not wanted to get stuff stirred up and not having the energy. I hope he comes to his senses. You definately don't want to leave now. If it has to be done, after the baby comes would be soon enough. You don't need additional stress now, you're in the home stretch.
Ebaby- you must be exhausted being on your feet all day. I'm on my a__s all day and I'm tired when I get home.
I will also work up until the end to conserve the little bit of time I get to be with the baby. Maybe I will take a day or two iff before delivery just to try to get it together.
Wow Gina, your baby's room is done? Mine is not even started.
My lo was going crazy this weekend being stuck in the house due to the rain- needless to say, I got nothing done. My dh wants Hunter Green in the baby's room but I think the room is way too small for a dark color. I would also love the pale blue and brown combo. I'll see if I can break him on his plan.
Thanks all for the condolences on our dog to everyone. My MIL lost her dog Saturday night due to a collapsed lung. We are just having some really bad luck lately.
Bryandi- I could not do 60 hours, I hope it slows down soon, but I would grab the extra money when it's available too.
Your dh is pretty harsh, "fatty"? Good thing you wacked him one. I'm so glad your baby is ok, what a scare!!! Try to take it easy, I know it's hard when you work and have an lo at home.
micsmms- I agree about the registry! Although I did not register this time, I did last time and I felt so presumptious picking things for people to buy for me. It did turn out to be helpful b/c after the shower it's like a check list of anything you still need to get and it does make it easier for friends and family. It just seems so tacky. Glad your second test went well, sounded rough though. I did pa__s mine somehow.
Wow, 30 weeks, the end is in sight girls!!! Colleen

Yea the ultrasound is b/c I am measuring big. I am anticipating everything being okay, hopefully all goes as planned. You are right, I cant really leave now, I dont know if I could take the stress, but with being married, having a house, and kids, leaving is never going to be easy. I always said I wouldnt be one to stay in a marriage just b/c it was easier, yet here I am right in that situation. Sigh.....

jess just because now is not a good time to deal with the problem does not mean that you are stuck. Personally I just think it is too much to deal with while being late in your pregnancy. It's sounds like a difficult situation and having a house and another child will make it alot more messy. Give yourself the time to finish the last trimester and think through what you want to do and how you want to do it. Big decisions are better made after alot of thought and planning. Do you have family to help you out through it? It just really sucks that the joy is being taken from you at what is supposed to be such a special time. (((Hugs))) Colleen

jess, I hope things work out for the best for you.
It sounds like you are in a tough position right now.
Try to focus on happy things like the beautiful baby you
have to look forward to. micsmmms I love gliders. I just
bought a new rocking chair that is huge. It fits my big b___t
and expanding sides and my two kids with a tiny bit of room to spare!
It looks like a normal upholstered rocking chair but it also swivels all the way
around and is a glider. Sorry it is kind of hard to explain, but it is awesome!
Colleen, it sux to do 60 hours, but the extra money is really helpful. we need
to get van this spring, so all the extra pennies we save means less of a monthly
payment. My dh was just kidding, well mostly, but I was just feeling sensitive at that
time. We are both very sarcastic people so we tend to say things to each other that
someone else who didn't know us might think we have a horrible relationship :) He likes
me chubbier anyway. Only 1 week 4 days left!! I am thinking about maybe only working 50-55
next week instead of 60, but I am hoping I can hold strong. This is the last chance for overtime
till I go back to work after maternity leave.

Hi girls-The appt went well. I have only gained one pound since last time, bringing my grand total to 10 pounds so far. Thank goodness for that!!! Baby is doing well, she is big, she was 3 pounds 14 ounces, so a little bigger than average (average is 3.5 pounds). She looks very healthy. The ultrasound was so cool, we could see she already had some hair!!! We also saw her opening and closing her mouth and the tech said she was probably practicing her swallowing. It was really neat!!! I also pa__sed my glucose test. So overall it was a good day.
I am still totally debating whether to have a c-section or not. I go back and forth.... I just dont know.....
I know this is off topic, but I have to vent somewhere- as for DH Im starting to think maybe I was making more out of the situation than was really there. I still believe I had my reasons to be suspicious, but maybe it was not as bad as I thought. I dont know, sigh... Im trying not to stress about it too much.

Bryandi- My dh and I are VERY sarcastic too! Probably b/c we have been together for literally forever. After your 1 week and 4 days do you go to a regular 40 hour week?
Jess- You are my idol, only 10 lbs gained??! That sure does sound like a big baby you have there, glad to hear the scan went well, it's always nice to get another peak at them. As far as dh goes, I know what you mean, I have b__wn things slightly out of proportion on occasion too. I just over-think things and before you know it, I'm ready to tear his head off. I wouldn't do anything rash yet. So I posted a question about braxton hicks b/c I have never had them and don't know if they are starting or not. Do you guys know what they feel like? I think my lil guy is just getting big but I had this wierd tight feeling in my tummy. What do you think? Colleen
