Pregnancy Info HOME

Nope no baby here. Still refusing inducement. I go for for fetal testing and a biophysical profile this week to be sure its safe to continue the pregnancy. As long as the baby is doing fine, ill stay pregnant until shes ready! Flybear- Congrats!

Where did all the Feb moms go???? Well I go in the morning for my c-section!!!! At about 11:30 on Monday my lil guy will be here!!! I will post all the info asap. Please check in Feb moms, I want to know how you are doing!!

Just thought i would check in. Had my baby boy on wensday at 5:41 am. My water broke that morning around 2:30 so we went to the hospital and they had to do my c-section early. He was very healthy at 8 pounds 14.5 ounces. 21 inches long. Very happy to finally be home with my baby.

congrats blakes! kmoselle have you had your little one yet?? breezibie you should of had your little guy by now! so congrats! im doing fine and my little girl is fine too! she,s such a good baby! she wakes up for feeds about every 4-5hours at a time at night and feeds a little more during the say about every 2-4 hours so she,s getting in to her own routine! she hardly screams and cries! when she wakes up she kin of just sits there happily even at night she just makes niggly noises! she,s such a good baby so content! im still b___stfeeding and loving it! hope your all ok! i want to hear some birth storys!

So ive been between 1-2 cm dilated and now im between 2-3 cm dilated, 50% effaced so not much change. He said he thinks im close to going into labor on my own. Im 40 weeks i would freakin hope so. He was feeling the babys soft spot on her head through my cervix. Not very pleasant. My blood pressure was so high he sent me straight for a non stress test but everything was fine. Ive been having some painful braxton hicks that wrap around to my back. I had bad back labor with Rylie so im pretty sure im going to have it again. Im ready to have this baby!!! ↑

Hello ladies, Congratulations to everyone who had their babies and good luck to those who are still waiting. Our baby boy Nicholas was borne via C on Thursday February 12th. He came in to the world weighing 9.2 lbs. and 22.5" long. He measured a bit big for his gestational age so they tested his sugar levels for a day, but everything checked out OK. We have been home since Sunday.. everything is going well except he is confused about day and night so he is up more at night and sleeps more during the day - I am exhausted but I am also loving every minute of it. Our daughter loves the new baby too - she is really good with him.. I hope that stays that way. Looking forward to joining you ladies over on the infant care board....

hi ladies, i am 40weeks + 2 days overdue, i have to go and have a stretch and sweep tomorrow and was wondering if anyone has any more information on this procedure because it does not sound very nice. can anyone help?

Im 40 weeks today. Ive heard the procedure isnt very painful, that it feels like cramps.

i went for the stretch and sweep but they said they could not do it for some reason. they are going to leave me till thursday 26th. iif i dont have her buy then i will be induced

Being overdue sucks. Ill be 40 weeks 3 days tomorrow.

I can only give a quick update as I have to go back to the hospital. I have had alot of complications with my c-ection that I will go into detail on later. Just wanted to announce that Matthew is a healthy beautiful little boy!!! Born on the 16th at 12:09pm He was 9lbs and 1oz and 20in long. He is the sweetest little b___terball ever!!! I will post again with full story very soon!! Good Luck to those waiting and congrats to those who have had!!!

congrats breezibe! flybear is having trouble logging in but says she will post her birth story when she can! i think she,s having a few probs with her c-section :( get well soon flybear! ok so Heidi got weighed today she is 13 days old and is 8lb 3oz so has gained 5oz since last sunday! which is really really good considering she is b___stfed! the midwife said some babies are only just reaching there birth weight at 2 weeks old so im really pleased about that! hope everyone is enjoying being a mummy! only newbaby left i think! any day now newbaby good luck!

I had a baby!! Yay! Haha. Mylie Rylan. 8 lbs 20 1/4 inches 10:13 am 2/21/09. I was having contractons all day Friday but thought they were just braxton hicks. By 8 pm they were coming pretty regularly so i started timing them. They were 7 minutes apart and kept getting more painful. I had a little bit of bloody show. I called the hospital at 11 pm and they said to come in so we got Rylie up and dropped her off at Ryans grandmas. We got to the hospital at 12 and they started a non stress test. My OB came in and examined me and i was still only 2-3 cm dilated. He said i was in early labor and would have her late Saturday evening. I was in so so much pain. Like intolerable pain so they hooked up an iv and shot pain med in that way. It took 3 tries for my iv and the nurse almost ripped my vein and had to get someone else. The med made me feel drunk but did nothing for pain so they asked if i wanted an epidural and i said yes. This was at 545 am. I got my epidural and we went to sleep from 6-7. Well Ryan did. I was hooked to a blood pressure machine that woke me up every 15 minutes. At 7 my OB broke my water, I was 5 cm dilated. I thought man its going to be along day. My contractions werent going so well so my OB started me on pitocin. I started having horrible pressure so they checked me again and i was 9 cm dilated and she was at a -5 station. The pressure kicked my a__s more then the 6 hours of contractions did. I was bad. But it was because she was transverse and face up. She turned herself head down but i had to push while my OB turned her face down. I started pushing around 9:45 and she was born at 10:13. It was a very difficult birth. Her cord had a knot in it. If the knot pulled tight she wouldnt have made it. I also had like no fluids which i had low fluids at 33 weeks and they never rechecked so her skin is so dry and flaky. She was dark purple and took forever to cry. Very scary. So that the basics of my birth story. We're home now and doing good. I didnt have to have st_tches, didnt tear at all. I so happy i went into labor on my own and didnt have to be inducd again, just needed a little help at the end. ↓

Hi ladies. Sorry I been MIA. I got admitted into the hospital again after having the baby. I put the whole story on the third tri board under " birthstory turned pnemonia" My doctor screwed me. Anyway... Newbaby...Congratulations!!!! Angel...I am so glad Heidi is doing so good!! Flybear...I hope you recover quickly!!! Matthew is an angel!!!! Having to be away from him when I went back into the hospital was devistating!!!! I am just so happy to be home now!! I will check back in with you mommies later.

Breezie, OMG, that sucks so bad. I know how you feel. I've been in the hospital like 9 out of the past 15 days. It sucks. I have had two surgeries and may have to have one more. I labored for a couple of days at home, dialating very very slowly and finally the contractions got so bad that I went to the hospital, they admitted me and I spent 24hrs on pitocin and all trying to dialate 5 more cm. I finally got to 10cm and tried pushing a couple of times but it was evident by then that the baby was sideways a lil still and he wasn't coming out so I had to have a c-section. Long story short, the c-section was somewhat traumatic in itself cause I had been numb so long that the edpidural wore off once during my dialating and then in the OR the spinal wore off and they ended up having to put me to sleep. Very scary and painful. I also ended up catching staph the first night I was there. I had fevers the entire time and was really weak and hurting but after about 5 days there they thought I would be okay to go home. I went home and several days later ended up back in the hospital. I think we've finally made some progress as I'm not having fevers anymore or anything BUT they did have to reopen the wound and clean it out good. It was not st_tched back up either, so as of now I've been discharged from the hospital and everyday I have to have someone from home health come and pack this huge, open, c-section incision with sterile gauze and all so it can heal from the inside out. It's very painful and it'll have to be done for sometime around a month. My other option is to go in yet again for surgery and have it closed back up once they are SURE that it's good and clean and doing okay and this won't happen again. Either way I'm going to have dr bills out the arse and I'm terrified to have any more children. I honestly think he may be our only child now, which actually makes me really sad cause we wanted a big family. I just don't know if I can do it again. Breezie, did you have the baby at EJ? I did... sounds like that hospital has issues.
