Can you all believe that little Ava will be here today?! I'm so excited. Someone keep us posted about her progress. I had contractions last night that were consistantly an hour apart. Not close, but at least there was a pattern the whole night. Today, nothing but twinges of pain. I'm so confussed. 5 more days until my due date, but maybe Kayla will come sooner. Who knows.

ceecee, it is so exciting when you know someone is about to have a baby any minute. I can hardly wait until it is my turn. I am sure Stef will do fine, I just hope someone lets us know when it happens. So, you are due the 13th? Is this your first baby? I am going to be induced on the 17th as long as L&D has a room for me, and this will be our second child. We have a daughter who is 2 and a half. I thought I read that your name was Constance? I'm Mandi. So, do you have another appointment coming up soon? Mine is on thursday. Last week I was 2cm, very soft and had lost my plug, this week I am hoping for atleast 3cm, and 50%, but I guess we will see soon.

Hi Mandi. I am due on Sunday, but I'm hoping that she comes before then. I'm trying to be patient but it's hard. I've been having lots of pressure and "practice contractions" I guess you can call them. I think it is early labor though. I also have an appointment on Thurs. Mine is at 2:50. Hopefully my doctor will tell me that I am like 3 or 4 cm. Last week I was 50% effaced and 0CM dilated. I hope you made more progress too. :)

So i went to the doctors this morning and still only 1.5 dilated and nothing has changed since last week. I am due tomorrow. He said if i dont go into labor by next Tuesday to call them and we will schedule me to get induced. He thinks i will have her but we will see. I am having a little girl and we are going to name her Alyssa. PRECIOUS i bet your so excited. i cant wait to hear how it goes with STEF.. MJV why are you getting induced?

Lucky, My hubby works over an hour from home and all of my family and support system is a bit further still. I have a really good friend out here that lives across the street, but she and her family are leaving to go camping for two weeks on the 17th. We have a 2 and a half year old daughter and the possibility is there that I could end up in labor at home alone, with a toddler. Depending on the day and traffic, it could take my hubby 2 or more hours to get home and I would have to have our daughter at the hospital with me alone, and that would really suck. We spoke to my OB about our situation and it was agreed that as long as I was prime for induction, that in our case it would be the best option. If I go in to labor before the 17th then I am covered because Julie will be home. If that happens, then her hubby will come home from work to watch their kids and she would go to the hospital with me, and then my hubby would be there as fast as he could.

Hey, it seems as though all three of us could end up having our babies on the same day. Constance, my appointment is at 9am that day, I am very anxious to hear if I have made more progress. The more progress, the less work I have to do when the time comes, and that sounds great to me. Lucky, 1.5 cm is better than nothing. Hopefully you will go in to labor before an induction is necessary. If you do have to be induced though, it really isn't a big deal. I was induced with our first and it went great. I like the name you chose, will there be a middle name too?? We are having a boy this time. His name will be Nathaniel James Venable, but we will call him Nathan, or Nate for short. I can hardly believe that all of our babies will be here soon. Sometimes it feels like I just got pregnant, then reality sets in and I remember all the long days and nights with morning sickness and all the aches and pains of the first two trimesters. 9 months is almost a YEAR!!! How is everone feeling this morning? Has anyone heard anything about Stef??

It will be Alyssa Rose Baca. Yeah i hope she comes before i have to be induced. I also was induced with my 1st daughter and it wasnt bad it just was long... So we will see. I like that name Nathan:)

Very pretty name. My first induction was 11 and a half hours, hopefully this one will be quicker.

Everyone has picked beautiful names. I hope that we all go into labor before induction will be needed. My daughter's name will be Kayla Jenelle Fields.

That would be really nice. Am I the only one having a boy? Is this everyones first baby, but mine? What about Stef, any news?

I have to leave for a bit, I'm taking my daughter to the park and then I have some grocery shopping to do. I hope when I get back there is some news about Stef.

Last thing i heard from Stef was she had her water broken at 930am and that contractions started getting stronger and that she was waiting to get her cervix checked to get an epidural. Now that was 3 hours ago and i have not heard anything since.

ok Stef just texted me and she said" got fabulous epi a while ago and slept some. was 4 cm and hour or so ago maybe more now"

So if she dilates a cm an hour that would mean she should be pushing in about 6 hours, hopefully sooner though. I can't wait to hear how it goes.
