UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE!!!!!- im so excited i just got back from the drs and DIALATED only at 1 cent and im 75% effaced and lylee is at -1 station. now i know that i can be here for awhile, but i am alot further then i thought. i guess those contrctions that i have been having(the ones that are not very consistant) are actually doing something. i was totally shocked when he said that. now the sad news, some how i have gained 4 lbs in the last week. the rn said that its probably cuz im so swollen. so they will check me agian next week and then we will set the induction date!!! im really tired, i was up all night, im not sleeping good at all, so im gonna lay down before my friend comes. she is helping me shampoo my carpets

TINA...I just finished school on Wednesday! yay for me! :) lol so I really don't have anything to do from now until I have the baby. So I'm sure we'll meet up a lot on here. This is really the only place I've liked so far. I've looked around on the net and nothing really intereted me. Everyone seems pretty nice on here, although I have read a few comments about people arguing ....but always on other topics or threads I think. I've never witnessed it. I don't know. I'm just here to talk to other preggo mommies and help pa__s the time :) Bet you're excited to stop working...I know I was so excited for school to finish

KOLLEEN - that is awesome -I hope I have dilated and thinned out some by Tuesday.....I mean really my mom says if I am dilated at all she is coming home - I am so excited! I can't wait for her to come back - at work they told me I can go home after lunch they have paid me for the whole day - sweet! I might not leave til 2 or 3 but we'll see.....it's going to be a great day!

so i went to go lay down for a while.. i think my breakfast wasn't good for me.. so now how.. now i feel like Lia is stuck to my skin.. has this ever happen to anyone.. where your laying down and when u get up you feel the baby stuck on your upper skin of your stomach????????? its been happening alot.. and when she moves around it hurts like taken a piece of tape out of ur skin

Hey Precious...My little girl's name is gonna be Lila. lol same as your plus an L. :P anyways...I've never experienced that before. Sometimes she sticks out in a weird position. Like her elbow or knee will be sticking out of my stomach and she'll stay like that for a while, but I don't know if I've ever felt her stick to my skin.

I tried doing the piczo thing but I didn't understand it!! lol I guess I'm not the best on computers

STEF- yep progressing very slowly; i expect this to be slow until the point that i actual dilate more (they think ill go pretty fast after i get to 6 cms? so who knows. lol im just here for the ride right? lol) TINA- they will be keep me at 4 cms as long as im contraction & still dilating if i get to 4 cms and i cant dilate again like i was when i got to 3 then they might send me home (depending how far along i am.) the uti meds im on turns my urine NEON YELLOW lol; its so funny haha. but im feeling better, a bit. JULIA- the funny thing about that is i guess our cervix FUNNELS from inside to outside. my outer cervix is 3 1/2 cms but my inner is only 3cms. i was just informed of this wednesday at labor & delivery but they told me the difference is never more then 1/2 cm but who knows i guess everyones different but 1 1/2 cms seems a bit crazy if you ask me?! KOLLEEN- -1 HEAD STAGE IS GREAT; better then what strad was haha. but hes at -1 now; or was that on wednesday. so hes getting down there lol.

Ok girls - just got back from lunch ......everyone here pitched in and they gave me 180.00 in Visa gift cards - of course I started crying ...felt stupid but then again not - when it's sincere people can tell......I got a very cute balloon bouquet as well......I am so sad to leave them all but I am looking forward to my time off and I get to leave whenever I want today! Sweet!

Julia - I will be on more regularly now that I will be off and we can chat - do you have yahoo messenger or anything? or anyone else too? we can all hook up that way....no I can't say I have experienced that at all

Hey girls! Ok so it is waaaayyyy late and I'm totally going to bed here in a minute but had to read and post. My appointment wasn't all that eventful but she DID check my cervix and just as I expected -- drum roll -- I am "softening" :) Yep, that's it. No dilation, no effacement. I totally knew it. She told me that is just where she expects me to be at this stage, so whatever. I feel like I will be the last one to go ha ha! No really she said that at my 39 week appt. she will decide if/when to induce if I have progress on my own. She's serious about watching me with the blood thinners, SO I guess I'll probably go around the very end of June so that is not much earlier than my regular due date. No biggie, just wish I'd gotten the u/s today but she didn't even mention it :( I am going to ask her at next week's appt. though. She was in a hurry today too for a delivery. Well, I'll get back on in the morning when I'm not so tired....

STEF - at least you got checked - I don't get checked until Tuesday - my 37 week appt. I hope if I have not dilated that I am at least softening....but I have so much lower pressure that surely I must be dilating somewhat....I guess we'll see.....Wouldn't that be something if you adn I are induced on the same day....June 25th and give birth the same day! That would be so cool....Well Cor helped me straighten up downstairs I just have vacuum and get the rest of the baby stuff put away.....I have no idea what to do with all of my gift cards....I am so excited...I have almost 350.00 in gift cards from Target, Walmar, and Visa gift cards....sweet! One of the girls said I should use the Visa cards and treat myself to a pedicure I just might but I feel guilty about that - I really need to save those for when I need to get Megan some Winter Clothes.....there just aren't any out right now ---but I am toying with the idea of getting her a bathing suit for when we go to the Labor day BBQ Ok girls I have more to tackle today I'll check in more later
