Ok girls, can you help me out? I polled some other friends of mine and am now seeking outside help on this middle name thing. Jessie I think is leaving the final decision up to me so anyways let me tell you what we have in mind. I've taken months of going through TONS of names to get this short list: Ava Soleil (pronounced So-lay and is French for sun--Jessie and I both like ths a lot but are worried about people not pronouncing correctly), Ava Sofia (means wisdom), Ava Olivia (love this, but wonder if it is a mouthful to say), Ava Rose (great grandmothers name, I like a lot, but Jessie's not so into it) -- Her last name will be Ca__sidy. Another one we considered was Ava Madison, but already it is a pretty overused name as are Sofia and Olivia, but I do like them all a lot. Anyways, just wanted to hear what others think because I've promised myself NOT to go to family with names anymore because they just don't help at all...not sure why, but they all stress me out more, lol.

I posted this in the wrong forum by mistake... My good friend just told me that she is 1 cm. She's 37 weeks. I can't wait to find out what I am. It won't happen until 37 or 38 wks for me though. Anyone else opening up? The same friend just went to the birthing center to be induced. She had been itching all over for a couple of weeks, so when she had her appointment today, her doctor tested her for some things. Hours later, her doctor told her that her blood work to test her liver enzymes came back funny, and that she would have to hurry to the hospital so they could do an ultrasound and induce. OMG this all is happening so fast. I mean I know her story is not mine, but she made me realize that it could be any week now. I'm hoping to make it to at least 39 weeks. Pray that everything with her and her baby boy will be alright.

Sashamama - OMG that is exactly what I was gonna say but thought that everyone would think I was a paranoid freak - there is no way that someone would waste their time going back and reading old threads -I sure hope it wasn't one of our own....LOL now that would be very creepy....good grief - wow I hope I am still on here in 3 or 4 years - even though this is my last baby I can help those who come after me.....LOL STEF - I am with Charli on that one - it's ok if people don't pronounce it right at first - PLUS - how many people will actually call her by her middle name? She will pretty much be Ava Ca__sidy....so I think you will be fine - I LOVE LOVE LOVE Soleil - they might know how to say it cuz of the sunscreen remember bain de soleil there were tons of commercials and when she starts talking teach her that it's ok to tell people how to pronounce her name - my littlest sister's middle name was AnnE with an E and when you asked her what's your name she would say - Patricia Anne with an E Buell - its was too cute......there is nothing wrong with that - I love the middle name Rose too because it was my Middle sister's middle name. I really really like Megan Vaughn and I know we will say it alot but I know my mom is going to call her Meggie (from an old movie we both love) and her friends may eventually call her Meg - but I love it either way.....CHARLI - I think I like Jane better with Lowe but that's just me- CeeCee - I saw you over there when I was posting to thank some june mommies for backing up Kendra and I thought what the heck I didnt 'have a chance to read what you wrote LOL - I am just glad we didn't do something to offend you...LOL - I will pray for your friend everything will be ok....I find out Tuesday if I have started dilating or not and I will let you know - I would feel ok if my little one decided to come after 37 weeks.... before there is anymore drama I HAVE NO PLAN TO TRY TO MAKE MYSELF GO INTO LABOR FOR ANY NOSEY BITCH READING OUR THREAD....LOL sorry couln't resist....the girl I was temping for had her baby at 38 weeks......the doctor made no attempt to stop her labor her baby was A-OK perfecto - but this time I am in no hurry I know little Megan will be my last so I am going to savor every moment with her - while she's inside and out - and girls - I must say this - once your little ones are born.....take your time when feeding your little miracles - some may eat in 15 mins and be full some may take a full hour to eat - just enjoy your time with them as they won't be this little forever - my 2nd son gave new meaning to the word "nurse" he took his time and I used to get in a hurry - so I just plan to sit and relax and not be in such a big d__n hurry - ok I am off of my soapbox now LOL sorry just my 2 cents

Charli and Tina thank your for the feedback on her name! I really appreciate it! I just figured everyone here would probably be more honest about what they like than my family would if that makes sense? Seriously if you think of anything that might be odd about it let me know...I do love all of the other names so it's been impossible for me to pick. I realized that I'd probably be in the same position while at the hospital and not any closer to naming her, lol...ok, I will be back to post more but I'm in a rush right now to finish some work.

Hey July Mommies! Corswife,I just wanted to pop in and say no problem to backing up Kendra. I hate how ppl come on these forums just to bash other women and be negative and a__suming. This is a SUPPORT forum...and GROW UP needs to learn that. I had enough of him/her/it whatever he or she is, because I have seen NOTHING but negativity and judgement come from her posting these last 9 months that I've been on here, and yesterday I snapped. its was like, CRAP WOMAN/MAN, NO ONE WANTS TO PURPOSEFULLY HAVE A PREEMIE!!!! sheeeesh! ANyway- I'm staying away fromt hat thread and I hope it will die, because Grow UP needs to get a life and some friends. Obviously she/he has none on here! Okay, well, I'll get out of your thread now and back into the June Mommies! Hope Kendra is doing well!!!! I have 20 more days till my due date...and I'm 70% effaced....so hopefully it will happen soon if baby is ready to go!!!!!!

Hi newlywed! When is your due date? It seems like we are all getting close. A lot of us here in the July group are due in the first few days of July so some of us may be popping in June :) We'll see....I have my 36 week appt. tomorrow and wonder if I'll get an internal or not. I'm not counting on it though till next week most likely...

Newlywed - well I am sure we will be sneaking on each others threads as more and more babies are born...LOL - I am with you I haven't been on here as long as some of you have but it really bugs me when women get bashed on - Now I have to admit that young chickie wanting to try to make herself go into labor really p__sed me off she was only 24 weeks arrgghh I told her to suck it up but I didn't go off on her like that crazy grow up did......so any how it's hot here and I have no appet_te I will try to choke something down - like maybe ..ummmm ice cream...LOLOL.....I walk so funny waddle in the understatement of the year.....but I am really starting to hurt not so much sciatica anymore just hips and lower back........

I'm 36 weeks and 6 days....expecting our first- a boy! June 28th is the due date...hes measuring for June 25th though. So he was either conceived our wedding night or three days into our honeymoon. LOl...we got married September 15th after 4 years of dating. Anywho-Stefkay they checked me for dilationa nd effaement at my 36 wk, so I would a__sume they'd start that for you...although I've heard that some paces dont even do it because it can be often useless because you might not go into labor even though you could be progressed. Being 70% effaced and 1 cm dilated at my 36 wk ck up makes me exctied in a way, but I have no clue how fast it will progress. I'm excited for next weeks appt tho! only 5 more days until that! Lol! Corswife- yeah I heard about that chick trying to induce herself at 25 weeks. Thats just plain stupid, so I stayed away formt he thread. Lol- I've never said anything to Grow Up in the last 9 months and I'm glad i finally did. PPL are trying to let that thread die but shes keeps posting. Oh gosh, talk about "the waddle"-I'm SO there...and My belly is just out there!!! My back hurts too! Well---I'm the only one on the June Mommies forum due at the end of the month. The other ones who were due around that time already went early. SO who knows, I might make it to July! This IS my first and I myself was a late baby...so we'll see!!!

STEF, I like Ava Soleil and Ava Olivia - very original. CORS, sorry I don't know your name! LOL, but is Vaughn your daughter's middle name? Our last name is Vaughn. We are naming our boy Evan Barton Vaughn. Barton is my husband's middle name also, but he goes by Bart. Anyway, I don't post much on here, pretty busy, but now that the due date is nearing -- I'm starting to look up labor and delivery more and more each day and come on here more often. I was on the infant forum for a while, until a bunch of women attacked me for saying that McDonald's is the worst thing to give your child and making my own baby food out of organic ingridients, hahaha. I suggested they take the kids to Chick' Fil'A, where the nuggets are made of actual meat. ANYWAY, my hormones are going crazy, I don't want to offend anyone on here who has taken/takes their kids to McD. I still have yet to do it, BUT I have taken my daughter to Sonic, which I'm sure isn't the best out there either. But she loves cheesesticks...sorry, I'm ranting now, lol.

Hey ladies! Went to the dr. yesterday. I was worried about lower pressure I was having...turns out to be nothing, just the baby growing and putting weight on it. So that's good. I won't have an appt for 3 weeks tho! :( So i'm bummed about that!

I don't know if anyone is still up! I took like a 2-3 hour nap today...so I'm not very tired yet lol

NEWLYWED- how funny i got pregnant the night of my wedding too. i found out i was pregnant on halloween then found i wasx having a girl on valentines day and im due on the 4th of july. it cracks me up totally.

Thats so funny..Im due July 4th also...my cousin gave birth to twins on Halloween. So I almost hope I have mine on the 4th that would be awesome...even though I know its unlikely. haha. I got pregnant the night my daughter's father proposed to me. =( I miss him so much.
