Tina, I totally understand where you are coming from! I only got 2 packs of diapers (and when I say any of this I don't mean to be ungrateful AT ALL either!) and I just got so many clothes. I know that even as it is without getting more (and I have the big shower Saturday) she probably won't wear all of them. I only got like 2 things off of my registry out of 17 or 18 gifts (and a lot of those gifts contained multiple items). I don't know why people don't like shopping off a registry? It makes it so easy to get stuff. I don't know...I'm kind of hoping for gift cards so that I can just go buy what I need after all is said and done. Opening any presents is so much fun though :))) WEIRD, Ava has the hiccups right now and where I used to get that feeling down low by pubic bone/hip bone, now it is up above and to the left of my belly b___ton! I think she flipped and is head up or something now.

LADIES So i went to the urgent care yesterday because i thought my daughter had a bladder infection well i got checked to cause i was kinda bugged down there too but i ended up not having a UTI so i think i was itchy cause i needed to shave he he anyways but the doctor said i have sugar in my urine..... whats this mean, he said that its possible i have the gestational diabetes but i got tested for that not to long ago and it was fine and i didnt have it. He said since i go to my baby doctor on Friday they get a urine sample everytime and they will test it and they will deal with the results there way. So could sugar in my urine mean something else too??? They check our urine for that every month and i have been fine, how all of a sudden i get this??? Im confused.

oh and my daughter just wouldnt pee there of course and they needed her urine to test it so we had to take a cup home and she ended up going pee 30 min after we got home.... So we should find out today if she has it. Not to be gross be either she peed alittle in that cup and added water or her pee is just soo clear you coud barely see any yellow. but i think it could be she drank alot of water to try and pee at the doctors but it didnt look like a infection in there. Usually if you have something isnt it darker. he he Sorry if TMI

Hillary, is it possible he said you had protein in your urine instead of sugar? Protein in your urine would suggest issues and the dr. does test for that at each appt. I've never heard of a dr. checking the sugar in your urine, only in the blood. weird?

HILLARY- I hope they can find out what is up with your daughter how awful! From what I have found doctors check for both protein and sugar in urine at appointments - and if you were repeatedly to have sugar in your urine then it could be a sign of gestational diabetes but if it's just once it's not a big deal....I wouldn't worry too much unless when you see your doctor they find some - I would mention what the urgent care doctor said so that they check for sugar (incase they don't always check better safe than sorry) Hope that helps I bet it's just a fluke! don't worry.

OK so remember i was mentioning i had strep. Well i got medicine for it and that awful throat feeling seemed to go away. Well i must have something else also because i am still sick. Today my head whenever i cough or b__w my nose or i can just feel it, it hurts. My nose it stuffy when i b__w it it feels weird. you know when u do a back flip in the water n you get water in there and it stings i feel like that everytime i b__w my nose. Its so weird. I still am taking the meds i was prescribed but its like im ammuned. im just not getting better. Last night i couldnt sleep because my head. my nose was clogged so i breathed through my mouth but then my throat would hurt because my throat is dry and hurts to swollow. IM JUST A BIG MESS right now. the doctor said i can take plain robitussin but that did nothing for me. What can i do, what do i do.

Hillary - the only other thing I can think of is use a humidifier - that usually helps my stuffy nose - and use vicks vapor rub under your nose that might help - you can also try taking tylenol allergy - I got the ok from my doctor for that - some doctors will let you take benadryl and other decongestants -

Hillary, I hope you start getting relief soon!!! I also realized I was totally wrong on that thing about sugar in the urine...Tina is right they check for sugar and protein. I'm sure all is a-ok, but just get some rest. Vicks works great for me as I always have stuffy nose (and now I get bloody nose when I sleep a lot....totally gross.

tian & stef- i agree with both of you the point of a registry is to buy off it; i didnt get anything from my kmart registry which disappointed me they have GREAT things there & they are cheap & i love them. but oh well. hhe. well walmart emailed me telling me 7-10 days until my item should arrive at the walmart store for my pickup =] yah im so excited so looks like between the 23-27 i should have the crib & everything so i can get his room finished; for the most part since his shelfing system is on backorder.(i ordered it April 4th; now says estimated date june 19!!!!!!!) im a bit ticked off but i want it so i wont ask for my refund lol. LUCKY---don't freak a trace of sugar is fine just means you either had over your means of sugar intake or something along those lines; it happened to me with kelsey about 33 weeks & i was fine never again after that; & UTI's could have an affect also.)

Hey, do you guys ever get menstrual type cramps in the early morning, but no other times? I worry because I'm told that is one of the early signs of labor and I was woken about 4am this morning with period like cramps. Just exactly like how it used to feel the day aunt flo would come. It was pretty continuous for about 15 minutes till I finally got up because it bugged me so badly. I tried to pee a bit and then drank half a bottle of water and they gradually subsided and have not been back. Should I be concerned and call the doctor's office?

Ladies. When baby Alyssa moves she never kicks hard. She just moves. I feel her move but she never kicks or i dont feel her kick if she does. Is this ok or normal. Could it be also im a big? Let me know what you think please

Hillary, I have been reading everywhere now that around 32 weeks or so the baby is getting to the point where he/she is too big to do all out kicks and that we will feel more movement and squirms, etc. than actual kicks. Totally normal! Just if movements get really slow or few and far between is when to call the dr.

KENDRA - I love how walmart does that site to store thing - no shipping charge that is how my car seat and stroller is coming - we went to dinner last night at my mom-in-laws and I think she might buy my bedding set - she kind of hinted about that...so that would be cool then I can use my gift cards for monitor and other smaller items.....HILLARY - so long as you feel the baby move you are good - my doctor says as they run out of room you will feel more rolls and such and not so much kicks - I noticed a change in Megan's movement also - but she still moves quite a bit it just feels different and usually the most about 20-30 mins after I eat - STEF I woke up this morning with the same thing - my uterus was really tight - I couldn't get it to go away until I got up out of bed - that is normal - it's just braxton hicks if you move and drink water and it goes away the ones that get closer and stronger when you move are the ones that put you in Labor and delivery......ok girls I'll check in again later! Yeah, I think it feels normal to me, but I've had lots of BH for a while now and they are always just tightening of uterus. This was not tightening, but just plain ol menstrual type cramps...for me that is not really like "cramping" but more of a weird sensation that takes my breath away. I wish I could explain it better :( I'm calling the doc just to be safe. It hasn't happened again though...
