omg i realized today that 3 blocks from my house is a icey place ( i dont know what you call it) they make italian ice drinks and all like slushys I am SOOOO going there this weekend!!

HAHA...You could just melt a candybar in a diaper - he'd never know the difference. :) Oh my goodness - we sound like teenagers, the one's Amanda's dad would get after! :) Hey...I think I'm starting to lose my plug...just went to the bathroom and it was kinda weird. Not as bad as with my dd but I think it could be starting to come out. Hope so - and hope it means he's coming SOOOOOOOOOON!

nothing to envy yet - remember, I've been 3+cm dilated and 80% effaced for a couple of weeks and nothing... :)

ugh I ate too much and now I have shooting pains in my belly. I feel like a whale. But at least the food was deliciously yummy.

Gah I've been 3cm dilated for at least 3 weeks... it was purely by luck that they checked me at all, it was a "just incase" thing, who knows how long I've actually been dilated for. Still no baby! I thought for a second maybe I had lost a small chunk of my mucous plug, because I went to the bathroom and before I flushed I noticed a blood-colored chunk in the toilet (tmi sorry) but then I thought...maybe that didn't come from me lol

I feel so uninformed i dont know if i am dialated at all ... and have no hopes of finding out

This whole pregnancy I gained 25 lbs so far

Speaking of mucous plug, I just came back from the restroom... How big is it supposed to be? I wiped and there was some snot looking stuff... like an off white, but no blood. It wasn't really as much as I would expect it to be if it was a mucous plug... it was about the size of a nickel.

amanda, it can vary - sometimes a little comes out and sometimes a big old slimy blob will come out. Mine wasn't bloody - even with my daughter it wasn't very bloody. Sometimes only bits come out and sometimes the whole thing will. My tummy kind of aches all over now too - Kind of like the other day when I felt like I had indigestion. Hmmm...I have to be prepping for the big party. :)

My tummy has aches and pains everywhere too and they elevate to my back. All my pregnancy symptoms just get worse and worse, I've been pretty tolerant this whole time but it's starting to get ridiculous! Just two more weeks before I can attempt to naturally induce... I hope something works before my spine collapses :(

Hey girls!!! I have no hope of catching up on all the posts, but I did see that Disko's being induced on Monday?! Yay!!! How exciting:) Christie, thanks for the post on facebook -I certainly didn't forget about you ladies, I've just been feeling like c___p for the past few days. Lots and lots of pressure in my lower back ( I could hardly sit at the computer for more than a couple of minutes at a time), cramps and braxton-hicks (esp each evening) and nausea in the morning -oh the fun. And to top it off, I haven't been feeling the baby move much...so I had a Dr's appt yesterday (I'm 38 weeks 2 days today), and he sent me for an ultrasound to make sure the baby's ok. Thankfully he is and based on the u/s results yesterday, he aced his first test (according to the ultrasound tech) -a huge relief, and thankfully I started feeling better today -weird. Also weird is that unlike pretty much every preg girl I know, I don't want him to come early! The past 4 or 5 weeks (other than the past couple of days) have been the best this pregnancy -since I'm no longer dizzy and fainting, I'm actually finally starting to enjoy being pregnant...I know, I'm a freak;) So I'm willing him to stay in there until June 3rd -my Dr. doesn't think that will happen, but I'm trying to be hopeful. Oh, and I can't remember who mentioned the nesting thing, but I've got it! Even though I felt horrible for the past couple of days, I cleaned the fridge and freezer, all the windows (in and out), deep cleaned the oven, and weeded 5 garden plots and got all my planting done. I think I'm driving dh crazy -I'm actually following him around the house whenever he eats anything so I can wipe up any crumbs he spills. I may need psychiatric help soon;) Oh and for those of you who are 'done' and want your baby's out, one of my friends swears by eating fresh pineapple and drinking raspberry leaf tea. Dawn, I love the t_tle of this thread -the finish line is in sight!!!

evening ladies.... Now dont y'all go and jinx me now!!! I said that they may... MAY be inducing me on Monday! In sure they will the way things are going 'down there'.. But we shall see... I've been hooked up to the monitor and have been having contractions every 12 minutes for the past two hours but nothing has much changed 'down there'. So I dont know all I do know is that I'm freaking starving here! Freddie took the kids to johns incredible pizza to eat and play games .. Lucky dogs. They said they would stop on the way back and bring me some food. Sheesh dont I feel special - NOT!!!! LOL you know something... I dont ever remember losing my mucous plug with any of my kids. Is that weird? With Taylor they had to break my water at 8 cm., with Cody my water broke at home (I was laying down then when I sat up in bed - whoosh!) and with Crow my water broke at the hospital around 7 cm. I thought that waters breaking would be alot higher than 12% though. My mom used to carry around a jar of pickles in her purse when she was about to pop just in case she broke her water at the grocery store cuz she said she would have dropped the jar of pickles and get home ... She thought she would save herself from being embarra__sd! LOL
