Hey girls well my daughters dad came and got him he was freaked out by how sick he looked - like a shell of a dog all sunk in ... he carried him to the truck for me quazi starts heaving while he was carrying him and dany got all freaked out but we got him in the truck and i drove like a NUT to the vet - they came out to get him i was hysterical crying and hugging him - basically he has a lil fever and they obviously kept him they have him on I.V and are doing blood work to see whats wrong ..all i can do it wait. If he makes it thru the night I will be shocked - I felt like i was going to pa__s out in there my heart was pounding i had cramps ... anyway I am home now and a little more calm just to know he is getting the care he needs and I cant see him laying there like that ...so I am going to eat something ..thank you girls for the support it means alot - I know this isnt a pet forum but I needed someone to talk to - Thank you again :o/

Wow that's a lot of questions haha. Okay, the ultrasound said 3.8 pounds, I'm not sure if that means 3 pounds 8 ounces or not. My last period I think was August 20th or something like that, I'm not 100% sure... I don't know exactly how long my cycles are because the abortion that I previously had messed everything up, before that I'm pretty sure I had a regular 28 day cycle.. and yes those were the only days we had s_x... except after I knew I was pregnant so those don't count. The conception date that they're giving me I know I didn't have s_x at that time at all... and I already knew I was pregnant on that day. I remember that day really well because that was the day my nephew was born and I remember wanting to tell my mom I was pregnant, and that's also when I started thinking very seriously about keeping her. I got a positive pregnancy test around September 23rd which is when I started getting morning sickness.

Dawn, I'm so sorry you have to go through this right now. I just got home from work and got your email. I was getting ready to just call you and make sure you were ok but I figured I'd come on here and see if anything had changed first. He's being cared for now and they will be there all night to monitor his progress. Try not to think of the worst. Call me tonight if you need to talk.

Oh and my earliest ultrasound was at 15 weeks (with the may 27th due date) and they agreed that I was 15 weeks.

Okie dokie lets say for arguements sake you ovulated after you had s_x....since sperm usually lives about 3 days we'll say your eggo was preggo on the 8th LOL that would give you a due date of about may 31st. You missed a question lol how many weeks were you when they did your ultrasound? What day was it? The average fetus weighs about 3.75 pounds at 32 weeks. I know it's loads of questions but I promise I'll be able to come up with something logical from your answers.

Oh dawn, he's safe now. He's where he can be helped. The fever and dehydration probably make each other worse. The IV should help him feel better some and he'll probably just rest. Hopefully the bloodwork will come back soon and it's just a minor problem. He's got to be severely dehydrated because he hasn't been able to keep water down. I can tell you when I was like that it was aweful and I was shaking. Once he's able to get good and hydrated it should hopefully break the cycle.

The ultrasound that they changed my due date... I went in thinking I was 31 weeks but they changed it to 27 1/2 weeks. And in the first ultrasound that I had when I went in at 15 weeks, they said my due date was May 30th (still 15 weeks either way)... so you're probably right about the 8th. Then the ultrasound I just had where I saw she was 3.8 pounds I would have been 34 weeks according to my May 27th due date, or 31 weeks according to my June 20th due date.

The appointment was on April 19th.

Ok, a due date of June 2Oth would give you a conception date around September 28th.....do they realize you got a positive test on the 23rd? Even IF it was an early positive I've rarely heard of anybody getting a positive before 9 days past ovulation. That would still give you a due date of June 7th. If you're positive those were the only 2 dates it wouldn't have been possible for your egg to be fertilized that long after. Your earliest ultrasound would be the most accurate so I'd stick with saying your probably due May 3Oth. That would coinside with a conception date of September 7th.....2 days after you had s_x which is deffinately possible. So you would have been 34 weeks at your ultrasound probably measuring 32 it sounds like. If the measurements are accurate, all it means is she may be say a pound less than your average baby at 4O weeks. Ultrasound measurements can be off. One of the women from my ttc thread just had her baby deliverd at 37 weeks because the dr thought he wasn't growing right.....he came out 7 pounds which is a pretty good size and a good bit bigger than they thought he was.

Thank you for everything - the vet called me a litle while ago and told me he definatly has something stuck in his intestines and that surgery is not even guaranteed and in the condition he is in he would likely not make it but they offered me the option as well as putting him to sleep ... so I had no choice but to opt for the euthenasia(sp) I dont even have the money for an office visit I cant tell someone to put a surgery of like 2k easily on their credit card and the dog may not make it anyway - I have not cried this hard since my grandma pa__sed away when I was 15 i could barely breathe - I love that dog like he was a child to me but it didnt even sound like there was any hope ... I dont know I am SO traumatized right now my whole body aches im going to bed.

Oh dawn I'm so sorry. I know it's not much comfort but try to remember that he's not in pain anymore and is in a better place. You know we're here if you need anything.

oh no dawn i'm so sorry sweetheart....... i don't even know what to say except that i am truly sorry for your loss and i know how much you loved quazi and just know that he is not in pain anymore. :o( if you need anything just call me okay? get some sleep doll.

oh thanks kay .... i think it is the meds that are giving me a headache too. ugh. i'm guessing that they will most likely take me off bedrest around 34 - 35 weeks...... and i am 30 weeks 5 days today so it really isn't too much longer. i got a swinging bench out front so i think tomorrow i will park it out there for a bit in the sun and watch the kids play instead of being all cooped up inside!

Hi ladies. I just had a possibly TMI question to ask. I am 34w preggo and for the last week or so have been feeling a lot of a___l pressure from baby. I have to go poop at least 3x a day. With my 1st pregnancy I felt the complete opposite...constipation! so this is different for me. Anyone experiencing the same thing? I also have a lot of sharp cervix pain.
