Ugh well I wanted to run to McDonalds to get icecream real quick just as a little treat and as soon as I turn the car on the engine light pops on. It seems to be running fine and last time that happened it was just a short and cost 1OO. I'm hoping it's something simple like that. I don't wanna invest too much in the car, it's paid off and has 9O,OOO miles on it now. I just got the breaks on it fixed right after Christmas so if I had to pay for like a new engine it wouldn't even be worth it.

kay i'm sure the engine light is nothing much.... hoping it is just a short in a fuse or something.... important thing is.... did you get the ice cream??? lol anyways...... i think this bedrest thing is starting to affect my brain! lol i'm going nuts! lol so kay i have a question when you were on the terb you were still having contractions right? i mean it has slowed mine down a bit and they are not as intense but i'm still having them... normal, right? about how many contractions were you having per day or did it change like all the time???

hey ladies - I'm right there at the first of June too - I'm 35 weeks on Monday!! Can't remember if I mentioned it but they are doing my first "cervical" exam on the 6th - and my GBS test as well. Gabby - contractions are kind of like bad period cramps - I had a day a few weeks ago where they kept coming every 3-4 minutes and lasted about a minute - and had a very hard tummy at the same time. I'd do what you're doing - rest and drink water - lots of water. They told me to come in if they got more intense but they never did. Dawn, I saw your "accidental" post and was just laughing. It totally didn't make sense and I thought for sure you had just gotten on the wrong post - and you did. So funny. :) As for the tax checks, I was supposed to get mine May 2nd but because of the stupid duplicate child support order that Chicago did illegally, who knows when we'll get it. They closed out our case 8 weeks ago - but still haven't sent us our tax refund that they have been sitting on for 6 weeks. They keep telling us it's "in process" and we'll get it eventually and to call back in 2 weeks. I hate the system sometimes....I wish I could charge them interest. :) The whole thing makes me angry - I wanted to get my new kitchen counters before the baby got here but we have to wait for the stupid money - because I don't want to use our CC's which we paid off a while back. GRRRRRRR!!!!

Yeah, I'm 34 weeks today. I think the worst part about it was that I wasn't sure to go to the hospital or not. Like I couldn't make a decision. Then I kept thinking, ok if I go to the hospital, I'm gonna have to poop there and I really don't want to. And also, if you go into the ER do they send you straight up to L&D or do they make you wait in the ER. I guess being this far along, if you go in there saying your having contractions, they kind of have to send you right up. Well thank God I'm feeling much better today. It must have just been intestinal, but I don't want to feel like that again.

i just finished my lunch of tomato soup with a touch of tobasco sauce and ruffles potato chips in it.... and a rootbeer... dang that sounds like something a pregnant woman would eat?!? lol now i need something sweet. yeah i would think that they would send you straight up to L & D, gabby. but at the hospital i'm delivering at there is a special wing called the 'birthing center' so all of us preggo's can just go there and it's right in front of the hospital and the ER is on the other side so it's pretty convenient. argh.... there is nothing on tv today! wow gabby! you've got a birthday soon..... exactly one month before mine! my birthday is june 9th! woo hoo a whopping 36 years! sheesh......

Gabby - Usually you have to go through the ER, but you don't wait there. You just say you need to go to labor and delivery and they get your bracelet for you and send you on your way. Somebody actually always walks me up there. Don't ever feel bad for going in to have something checked. I always debated with myself whether it was worth going in but better safe than sorry. fefer - have fun with that fist check lol they've been doing mine every week already. I have the annoying dr. who rushes me out in 9O seconds on Wednseday so I doubt he'll even bother. I don't care though because I should probably have him Monday anyway! Have you gone to the IRS website and clicked where's my refund? You have to enter your social, filing status, and the refund amount and it should tell you the deposit date. disko - yeah, no matter what they gave me I always had contractions. It was just like it calmed them down some. I just ate soft pretzels with nacho cheese and I have an eggroll in the oven :D Somebody needs to start a new thread tonight or tomorrow because this one takes way too long!
