Hello to all these new ladies. I am not a regular on the June Mommies thread but try to catch up and reply as much as possible. My name is Deanne and this is my 2nd pregnancy. I have a 15 month old ds - Caden - and am pregnant with another boy who will be named Jaxon. I am due on the 4th June. I live in Vancouver, BC Canada. I have been having a lot of painful BH's over the last couple of days and am losing my plug. Sometimes the BH's can be timed 4-5 mins apart for a few hrs but they eventually dwindle away. I am getting checked for dilation on Fri and will get a membrane sweep done. Doc thinks it will put me into labour. I am not getting my hopes up though. CONGRATS to Dawn and baby Violet!! 20hrs! I thought 17hrs with my 1st was brutal...poor girl! Hopefully she gets lots of recovery time.

Oh it's my last day of work today...yipee!!

June 2nd....less than a week to go!!!!

yeah, 20 hours is miserable! With my dd my labor from start to finish was only 7.5 hours - and I was induced. Amanda - glad I'm not the only one with toilet issues. It feels so weird - almost like my skin is stretching out down there. yuck. Somebody mentioned a membrane sweep that didn't work - they did that with my dd and it did nothing for me except make me bleed a little bit. I think they have to do it a few times sometimes for it to work. A friend of mine had it done and she was in labor that night. Lucky girl! :) This time around I'm trying to just let nature take it's course but it's really hard cuz I'm so miserable!!! My first trimester and most of my second were horrid with the sickness - and now the uncomfortableness. I'm sounding like a whiner now. :) Yay DDT!!! Getting off work is so nice! I only worked 2 days a week so it wasn't bad for me - I'm actually bored at home all day every day but...it is nice to not have to get up and GO there.

well i am going HOME!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!! i don't have internet at home so i have all of the phone numbers from last night's talk and i hope to talk to you all agian soon!!!! i will miss you all!!!! you never know i might be on agian in a fews weeks when i have these two little monkeys!!!!!!! love to all of you!!! good luck!!!

Ok back home and my little boo is sleeping. Welcome to everybody.....wow our thread is starting to look like it did in the beginning with so many people! :D I'm Kay, I have a 4 year old daughter and my son came a month early on May 5th. I've been cheering for everyone to go into labor so they can be up late at night with me lol. Anybody heard how christie's ultrasound went? I bet she was really excited to see him again. I need to go back to the last thread and save everyone's numbers so I know who's texting me! Ok now everyone on the count of three squat.....One.....two.....three.....are you doing it? Now go molest your men to get things moving more LMAO

wowee tons of new June mommies - yay! Welcome welcome welcome! Let me introduce myself ... I'm julie (aka disko) and I'm currently 35.4 weeks pregnant and have been battling preterm labor for 8 weeks now. I just got out of the hospital (again) and I'm still on bedrest ...STILL!!! I'm also on procardia. I'm currently 4 cm. Dilated and 100% effaced so I'm going to go pretty soon. This is baby number four for me. This little one is a boy and his name will be Tripp James. I have a 15 yr old girl (Taylor), a 12 yr old boy (Cody), and a 3 yr old boy (Crow). Welp no baby yet. Still having tons and tons of contractions but what else is new! ;-p

thanks Heather, I thought it was Dawn. I did get your text too. :) I just got back from Target myself - had to buy diapers too. I'm really going to hate diapering two kids...yuck! I need to potty train Rachel real soon! Well Kay, I didn't squat but I did walk around for an hour and I'm exhausted now. I want to take a nap but I want to get some more cleaning done - I must be getting ready for a baby. :) I can't clean enough it seems. Then again, I have a toddler running around messing up my house constantly. Crumbs and toys everywhere! Haven't heard from Christie yet...where are you?? Oh wait, she said she was getting a mani/pedi today so I bet she's enjoying that right now while we wait anxiously. :)

hey heather I can relate to the toddler running around with all the toys and crumbs (those seem neverending!) and my little one has been fighting us tooth and nail on the potty training issue! Argh! Its so aggravating. Taylor was a breeze and so was Cody - all we had to do with Cody was tell him that we wouldn't go to Disneyland until he could potty like a big boy and that day he did it. Needless to say we were at Disneyland the very next weekend! Both of them were easy as pie! Now this one - he just says he doesn't like the potty but he thinks its cool when we use it but nope not him! LOL

poor dawn! Just heard from her, she hasn't been able to sleep since 6am yesterday. Christie is getting a manicure - I'm sure she'll give you the scoop when she gets back. :)

oh no! I don't want to wait till she's 3!! :) She's interested in it though so I think she might be easy. She's only 20 months - almost 21...I was potty trained at 2 so I guess there's hope!

Ok disko did taylor turn into a little monster when she hit 4? I don't mean that to sound mean but I've had people tell me 4 year old girls act like little teenagers and she's had the worst att_tude lately. fefer - I didn't get any sleep for like 36 hours when I had my son. Poor thing :( I just spent $30 on wipes and diapers that will be gone in a week tops. I forgot how many diapers they go through as newborns. My daughter was MOSTLY potty trained at 2. She had no problem peeing on the toilet ever but if she had to poop she'd ask for a diaper.....one day she just finally got up there and did it and had no problems after that. I couldn't imagine buying diapers for 2 ahh!

lol Disko I read your post and was like "wait what, I dont have a toddler" then I realized you were talking to fefer.. hah that was funny. I cant wait to hear from Christie and see how her U/S went! poor Dawn, I hope she gets some sleep soon.
