Hey girlies!! Just thought Id pop in to see what was going on with everyone. Chris: Im so sorry about the carpel tunnel.. sounds pretty painful. I cant believe they have to take forever to be able to help you. Sounds like your boss is doing good stuff to try to keep you working until you have your baby so that you can keep all of your maternity leave for the baby. April: Im glad that your doctor got you in for a sono quickly.. youll probably find that jack is doing wonderfully in there.. just another vote of confidence basically. Monica: Wow youve got some nice sized twins in there.. it must be a cool thought to think that theyll be here soon.. yay for you. Brandy: Glad your shower was fun.. glad mine is next sunday!! Sarah: Youre so funny.. i just read your comment.. "hope she isnt one of those ugly babies" shes going to look like an angel on earth.. mark my words! As for me.. I had some brown spotting and some red spotting late last night and a tiny bit today.. I decided to wait it out.. because it was NOT even close to a huge amount.. less then a teaspoon ill say. I have an NST and a biophysical fetal profile tomorrow and then after that I see the OB.. even though I think hes trying to hold off until 36 weeks to give me my c section date, im going to ask to see if i can get one tomorrow.. i need to figure out what im doing with my girls.. thats important stuff.. i want to make sure they are happy and comfy before I go off to have Kayden. Anyway.. im off to bed.. ill update after my appointments tomorrow. ttfn. ~Kristin~

Hello ladies! it sounds like alot is going on in here! Firs off ROBYN- Take care of yourself! I know you are but we all know Justin will be just fine if born this early! We are all rooting for you!!! MONICA!!! Well you're babies sure are healthy for being twins!!! Usually we hear of twins being small but your babies sure are not giving you anything to worry about! Now as far as you have officially lost your mucus plug- (pregnancy moment- but when you lose you're plug isn't there a specific amount of time they give you before delivering?) April- poor baby girl!!! I can totally understand what you're going through as i've heard many of times that i'm measuring normal/small.... but i am keeping my fingers crossed for you that everything with Jack is just fine!!! He just is going to be a little guy!!!! =) But keep us posted. As far as everyone else... seems like everyone else is having the third trimester problems as well!!! the aches and the anxiousness!!!! I know i told you guys how i had to go get my heart monitored as i was having alot of palpitations- well then i had to wear an EKG monitor for 24 hours to monitor my heart.. i got the results back yesterday and not good news... they are sending me to a cardiologist today as they seemed pretty concerned and say i have a pretty severe case... but they said my heart slows way down almost to a stopping point and then beats super hard like its pounding out of my chest to catch up.. they said my heart is more fluttering than beating.. So that is not cool to hear... although my yeast infection is gone and me and my lovey (that is what i call my boyfriend) have been able to be intimate again!!! SO NICE!!! =)

Question - January 30

Montie- Your twins weight is wonderful! Perfect and with your plug gone and dilation rising , your having some babies soon! I wish you and your little ones all the best! Chris, dang you need some tylenol 3 for your carpel tunnel pain. I'm sorry your suffering, I only wish your pain will take a hike soon. April- I have short measurements with this one and Alexis to, Your baby might be laying low in the pelvis like mine when they did u/s. Good Luck at your u/s! Everyone til this day keeps commenting how shocked I have to go. My belly is low riding that's for sure but not to big. I have been sleeping like a log so far. I'm going to mention it to my ob to make sure that's normal. Hope everyone has a wonderful day and keeping our babies happy! Erica

K2 - 'Glad to hear the yeasties are gone. I bet you're a lot more comfortable! I've never heard of anything like what you're going through with your heart. Is there something they're going to do about it? How does it affect things? Thanks for all of the support and rea__surance, everyone, about my measuring small. I'm off to my sono here soon, and I'll check back with y'all when I return. I am a little nervous but mostly excited to get to see him again. - April

April i'm hoping everything is fine!!! But maybe he is just engaged or lower down in the pelvis so he looks smaller!! I'll be watching and awaiting your update.. As far as me, i am not sure what is going to happen.. I myself have to go see the cardiologist in less than 2 hrs. i've heard that it could mean c-section for me so it don't put that strain of pushing on my heart... but i'm really just going to wait and see what the doctor tells me.. i've also been told maybe i'll get put on bedrest but it is all up to what this specialist says... according to the internal medicine doctor who got my EKG results back they were pretty concerned and said it was severe.. but likewise i'll keep you all updated...

'Just got back from the sono, and Jack's growth has fallen from 38th percentile to 16th. Dr says he's not too worried; Jack's probably just genetically a lil' dude (not his exact words.) But he wants to monitor just in case, so we're going for a biophysical profile and NST Friday AM and then again every Wed. after that. Dr said worse case scenario: his growth falls below 10th percentile and they worry he's not getting enough nourishment from the placenta, which may lead me to an early induction. So, I wouldn't say it's exactly the news I was hoping for, but it's good to know that things are probably just fine. If they're not, he can safely be delivered early. 'Hope all the rest of you girls are doing well out there. K2, let us know what the cardiologist says. - April

BAF - January 30

April, So glad to hear Little Jack is ok! Like you said, he may just be a little boy. Keep us posted after the rest of the stuff on Friday. I bet everything is just fine. K2 waiting to hear from you as well.

ROBYN - January 30

K2 - good luck today please update as soon as you can your in my thoughts. APRIL - just sounds like you have a little guy in there did the doc say how soon he would induce if he dropped any lower in the percentiles?

ACG - January 30

He'd induce when/if his growth were to slow up significantly. I'm 35 wks, 1 day right now. Induction, if we needed to do it, would be any time between 36 and 40 weeks. - April

Rainbowbrite - January 30

hello ladies! April that is good news about Jack! obviously not the best news to hear but still it was not bad news... so congrats there and just think you could be having him at any time and he'd be okay!!! As far as my appt with the cardiologist here is what he told me- that according to the halter monitor i wore for 24 hrs i did have my heart stopped.. it stopped on its own and within the 24 hr period my heart be 1300 more beats than the average person. he said HE THINKS it is because she has everything pushed up in my diaphram and i'm just really able to feel it with everything pushed up there... and also there is a murmur in my heart but he does think that is because of all the excess blood flowing through... due to pregnancy.. so JUST TO BE SAFE- he sent me for an ultrasound next monday to have on my heart... but overall he is not too concerned... he says if it gets worse or if i get more symptoms arising to give him a call otherwise just come do the ultrasound on monday and we'll go from there but he is not very concerned.. which kind of makes you mad but then it is kind of like well maybe i'm just overreacting.. but i am going to ask my ob on monday as well (yep two appts in one day) if the baby getting bigger will have an affect on it... or if it will make my heart have even more flutters... but as of right now everything is just pregnancy related and should be fine once the baby is here.. i tell you our bodies can do some weird things caused by pregnancy!! how is everyone else doing!?!?! I got my shower a week from this saturday and i can't wait to see all the stuff she gets!!! its like xmas all over again!!!

BriannasMummy - January 31

Hey girls.. just thought Id stop in and share that I finally got a c section date of March 6th. If he decides to stay put until then .. ill be holding him that day. Pretty exciting stuff! He did very well on his NST and he even pa__sed his biophysical in 3 minutes flat.. which is a record!!! lol. It usually takes a half hour to 40 minutes for him to pa__s. He was just very cooperative. My doctor said that I probably overdid it which caused the little bit of bleeding.. so nothing to worry about. K2: I have to say.. i freaked a little when I read your post.. That sounds very scary to me to have those kinds of heart issues. I hope that everything is just because of the increased blood during pregnancy and the positioning of your baby and nothing else. Im glad they are taking the extra step with the u/s to just make sure. April: Sounds like Jack is doing well, hes just a bit small. Its good that they are keeping a close eye on him to make sure that his growth stays on chart... and its even a plus that you get to see him every week until he is born.. the biophysical fetal profile is important.. yet its fun to watch him at the same time. Anyway girls.. Ive gotta jet.. ill talk to you all soon. ~Kristin~

Rainbowbrite - January 31

Good morning lovely pregnant ladies!!!! How are you all doing today??? I have a question for you guys and it is probably stupid but i have not heard of it until here. What is a biophysical fetal profile??? that is great Kristin that you know the date of your son's birth and the day you'll be holding him! YAH!!!! How exciting!!! ROBYN/Monica- how are you ladies doing? Are you having the babies??? Everytime i get on here i feel like i am going to be seeing the babies have been born!

montie75 - January 31

K2 - I am keeping you in my thoughts my dear. I hope everything with your heart works out to be fine. I am sure it will!!! April - I think little Jack will be fine!! So he's small, no biggie. You will have plenty of time to fatten him up!! Remember, 37 weeks is considered full term for a singleton. He is in good hands!! Kristin - congrads on the c-section date!! Isn't it exciting to have a date to look forward to?? My doc is inducing me on Tuesday, Feb. 5th. As long as the babies hold off this weekend, I will be holding them in 5 more days!! I can't wait. I am just soooo tired and sore due to my fat belly!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Brandy, how are you feeling sweetie??? Everything alright with you?? JAN - are you still checking in on the thread?? If so, how are your twins doing??

sarah21 - January 31

Wow, the 5th for Monica! Yay! And March 6th for Kristin! Must be nice to have a real date to look forward to, lol. I guess since I know the gender it's nice to save a surprise like her birthdate. I'm still jealous. K2, I am so sorry about your heart problems. They sound really scary but it sounds like you're being a real trooper about it! I have had palpitations before, but nothing so severe as that. It would freak me out to hear that my heart stopped itself! It's good to know, though, that worst-case scenario is that you get to hold your little girl even sooner! And April, good news to hear about Jack, sort of. Still scary that his growth dropped off a little, but good to know that it's no big deal. And how lucky to see him once a week! You're so close to being considered full term anyway. You just might be another lucky one to deliver early! I'll be left all alone here on the March board until the end of March when my little girl finally decides to budge... And K2, you asked about losing the mucus plug (if someone addressed it already, I don't mean to re-iterate, I just didn't see it) losing it doesn't mean that you have a certain time period to deliver. With Monica it means she's closer just because of having twins and dilating. Sometimes women lose it weeks and weeks before delivery and some, like me, lose strands of it off and on. It regenerates itself constantly, so Dr.'s don't worry. The only thing that gives you a time period is your water totally breaking due to risk of infection. Hope that helps answer your question. Well today I am trying to decide what room of the house to tackle with my detailing... Maybe our bedroom. The dog bed needs washing-- it stinks. Yuck. I wish dogs didn't stink.

Oh also I e-mailed out some pics Monica sent me. If you didn't get them and would like them, e-mail me at ilbagel at gmail.com
