Hey guys, I had a drs appt yesterday, pretty standard though. I've gained 4 pounds in 2 weeks ... again. I made a face & dh told me if I don't like it I should stop eating a whole cake by myself ... lol. Which is probably true, but since I am having the baby 4 weeks early, I've been trying to gain extra weight to make sure he weighs enough to come home. Lol .. anyway, c section still on schedule for April 23, yay! Welcome Kate_.

hey cggirl, i too had to have help, i took leterozole and back to back IUI....and thankfully it worked the first time. but now i'm ready for it to be done. really really ready. so now i know what i've been feeling like there's too much weight on my ribs and pelvis etc. yesterday my dr says that he thinks the baby is too big and they've scheduled a ultrasound next week to see the size. but i never talked to him about my options....what does it mean if the baby is too big??? does that mean i get to be induced earlier??? if so giddy up and sign me up for that. i just started last night with the EPO suppositories, a little gross when it comes out, but if it gets things going faster i won't be upset.

Hello everyone, I start my mat leave officially May 22, my due date is 24th. but i saved up all my vaca and i'm actually taking off on april 25th, BUT hehe gets better, everyone in the office leaves for chicago on the 20th for about a week for a kick off, so i'm in and out mostly out that week anyways. and to top it off, i'm going to get even more cheeky and ask my boss if i can work from home a few days in the next week. not much for me to do, and i'm in sales so not like i'm accountable for any while i'm off. Hey WV_Red, I'm getting super tired as well, and i feel like i have so much to do. i still have to wash the baby's cloths get "the bag" ready, and pack up to move into our new house....and everything that comes along with closing a new house. thanks for the info on the chunker babies lol. so we'll see what is determined at the time. my stomach to me seems like it's grown, it's grown so it's heavier on my ribs i'm waiting for the drop, but i'm short like 5 1 and i can feel teh baby moving in my b___t, cervix and then all the way up to my b___bs....to me it just feels like the longest baby....

Hi, ladies. I'm almost in the home stretch! I have two weeks until my next appointment. Then I get my first cervical check and that bacteria swab thing. After that I start going to the doc every week! We're really almost there! After last appointment, I was measuring two weeks ahead. Now I'm only measuring a week and a half ahead, so thats good news. As excited as I am, I really don't need the little one coming out early. He hasn't dropped yet, but I can tell he's getting into position. My cervix and bladder have taken quite a beating lately. I've been using the bathroom twice as much because of it! I'm hoping he does soon. I'm not looking forward to even more hip pain (the leg cramps and slight sciatica are continuing) but it'd be nice not to feel like a whale when I can't even walk through a parking lot without getting out of breath!

I ladies! Chattykathy, I just got back from a walk and I feel pretty out of breath! It's funny to look back that when I became pregnant I was jogging 3-4 times the distance I walked today. How things change! Well, I have an appointment tomorrow and I'm curious whether my little guy has moved or not but I'm guessing no. I still see 2 bumps on each side that look like his b___t and head...so he's still sideways! Ugh. He's got 2 more weeks and that's it! But anyway, I am so excited because I just recieved the most amazing gift ever. A little background info is that when we showed up at our first childbirth cla__s, realized we know the instuctor because we went to high school with her son and him and my DH are good friends. Well, last night at the last cla__s, she pulled me aside and offered to a__sist in my labor! I was so surprised...and the more I thought about it the more I realized how great that is! It's like having a free doula...she has 30 years of experience and has attended many births! So I am very happy and excited about that. I think it's going to make such I HUGE difference in my labor experience. Nothing better than having a childbirth instructor with you every step of the way. Yay! Now this little guy just has to turn...I don't think there's much she can a__sist with at a c-section :(

Hello ladies! I'm hitting the 36 week mark today! Yeah! I had quite a few BH contractions this week. I hadn't had any until now. They are sometimes hard to differentiate with regular movements because baby girl is so tight in there that when she moves, my belly gets thight! I had the Strep B swab at my last apptment and it's nothing intimidating. I'm now every week, and they even gave me all of my appointments until one week after my due date, just in case! It's exciting! But I have to say that I am nervous about the delivery. My due date is May 9th and I'm planning to stay at work until May 2nd. I have the worst acid reflux. It's so bad, sometimes I think I will trhrow up, and it comes out of nowhere. Fun fun fun! But apart from that, really, I can't complain. I can't wait to see my baby's face! Reneenay, don't give up hope! i've heard of babies turning at the last minute! You Dr. may want to try an external version at some point. Let us know how your appointment goes! RMC: looks like you're next!

CgGirl - Woohoo and thank God! I can't wait to have my body back and not have to pee 20 times a night!

Reneenay I hope that lil one of yours decides to turn soon!! How did your appointment go? RMC you are probably really counting down the days now. Not to much longer for you at all now. Well I am now up at least 9 times a night to pee now. At the least! Now this is not having anything to drink after 8. She i loving to put the pressure on my bladder and it is def uncomfy. Come on May!!! So when does the whole cervix check start happening??? Oh man the dreams have started to become weirder guys... I dreamed that I gave birth to my cat and I sent dh down to the store to get cat milk. You want to talk about vivid it was crazy. I mean I love my cats and all but to dream I gave birth to one of them kindof boggles the mind a bunch!! And then the two nights before that I have been dreaming my house caught on fire. Once again both of those were really vivd. I swear I think I am loosing my mind. Okay enough of that... lol. How is everyone feeling??? Anyone starting to get nervous yet? I know I am. Ladies I hope you all have a great Sunday!

wv_red - glad to hear I'm not the only one with the weird dreams lol. I had a dream my dog was ten feet tall and walked on her hind legs! Yeah, I am definitely counting the days down. Ten to go, woohoo, I am so ready. I was thinking I'd be able to sleep again, but ha, I forgot I'd have a newborn to get up with every 2 hours!

Hi ladies! Well, my appointment didn't go so great...now it seems my little guy has turned alright...to full breech! What a little stinker. They are going to schedule me for a c-section. I know there is still a chance he could turn, but my Dr. basically said in my case it's not likely. She said I had a tight abdominal wall and stared at my belly during my entire appointment with a very doubtful look on her face. He's already in there so tight! I had a feeling it had happened because when he was tranverse, his head was always higher than his b___t...so naturally his head would more than likely move up rather than down. My gut is telling me that he isn't going to budge...he hasn't been head-down since I was 7 months! So it looks like I'm headed for a c-section, at week 39...I'm 35 weeks today so that's in a month from now. Boooo! It really sucks. My DH was only taking a week off of work and now it looks like most of that time will be spent in the hospital, instead of at home, settling in and bonding with his new son. I won't even be able to hold him right after he is born :(
