CgGirl hey that is awesome!! Yeah we picked that name out as we were walking out of our u/s after we found out it was a girl. Dh was wondering what we were going to name her and Victoria popped out and we knew that was her name. Victoria Lynne. Tori for short. I love it. How is everyones nurseries and rooms coming along??? Anyone have a baby shower yet? ChattyKathy, reneeney how did the showers go??? I am a little bummed out about mine just because none of my family is here to come to it. My MIl and dh's best friends wife are throwing me one. There are going to be alot of people there that I dont know. Well I suppose it could be worse. Everyone there could be over 50.... Thank goodness they all arent but.....Jairia how are you doing???? Ashley how is the tailbone and the leg??What other names is everyone thinking off?? Well ladies gotta get back to cooking dinner... have a good evening.

Well, what do you know? I got my results back today for the glucose test and my numbers were high. They want it to be 130 or below and mine was at 141. So now I have to go back and do the 3 hour test! Does anyone know how the number thing works? They said that mine was "slightly" high. What am I going to do for 3 hours? Ugh. Well, aside from that, I am doing well. Wv-red, my shower is on Saturday. Can't wait! It should be fun. Except now I can't have any cheescake! I'm getting the 4D tomorrow night. I'll let you ladies know how that goes. Belly rubs!

I could be wrong, but I think they poke and prod you for those three hours and see how your levels are over time. But I'm not sure about that one. --- My baby shower is this saturday IF the weather cooperates. It'll be above freezing tomorrow, so I think all of the ice that is covering everything right now will melt away by then *crosses fingers* and we are STILL discussing names! I'm so frustrated. I finally found one I liked but BF doesn't like it. and I know I'm only going to feel more pressured as time goes on to pick one, and I'd hate to think that I'd just settle on one that sounds "okay" rather than one that sounds PERFECT. Its just so hard!!! But I am officially well into the grunting stage. This past week has just been so hard on me. My back has been bothering me a lot more and the past couple of days I've felt so bloated/not able to take a deep breath that its been making me feel a bit dizzy... and then makes me feel tired! Should I mention that to my doc or does it sound like normal preggo complains?

Jairia - February 21

I did the 3 hour yesterday as my level came back at 150. Prior to drinking the orange stuff again, they took my blood. Then I had to drink the same drink as before. They then draw your blood once on the hour for the next 3 hours to make sure your levels become lower. I pa__sed, but it was a pain in the b___t. They took blood a total of 4 times, and because the veins in my arms don't always cooperate I had 3 draws from my left hand and 1 from my right hand. Sounds like fun, huh???

You guys have fun at your showers. Mine had to be cancelled as there's not enough room in the hospital. So I guess that we'll be bringing the baby to whatever shower we have after she's born. Also, DH is putting the nursery together on his own. I have absolutely NO idea what it's gong to look like. I think his mom is going to help him out. This stinks as I've wanted to be involved, but I know it will all be worth it as long as little one is okay.

RMC - February 21

wv_red - We've got the crib and dresser put together. Baby will be sharing a room with my one year old so we already have the swing and changing table up in there. chattykathy- heartburn has kicked in MAJOR for me , and yesterday I had my first bout of m/s which was horrible! I barely made it into the bathroom before I was projecting everywhere lol. My back hurts a lot too, though. We are going with Christian Scott for the name, scott being my fil middle name. I am due to have a joint shower with my sil in april, so should be fun! See you ladies later.

Good morning ladies! I'm hitting the 29 weeks mark today; wow, only 11 to go! Ashley: how are you doing? Jaira: any progress or update for you? I'm sorry that you aren't home to set up the nursery... vw_ red: we actually have 3 names in mind, but Victoria seems to be the best choice... I just want to keep our minds open just in case we don't think the face fits the name! We were looking for names that can be pronounced right both in french and english (I'm french and my dh is english) and that goes well with the last name... not an easy task! Our other choices are Elizabeth and Marie.

Hi Ladies, RMC I need to take notes from you, because I have yet to purchase any baby furniture, and you already have yours up. I wish I wasn’t a last minute person ;( Jairia you are so luck to have a helpful DH, because my DH want start anything until I start or complain for at least two weeks, He's so LAZY. However, you continue to take it easy and allow your DH to complete the nursery, I’m sure it will turn out nice. As for me my Glucose Test came back GOOD (Yesssssssss), I will 30 weeks 2/24 and I am so looking forward to the ten week count down. On a sour note my fibroid is continue to grow rapidly, so I have to have a series of ultrasound for the remaining of the pregnancy. I hope it doesn’t cause me to go into premature labor; my belly looks like I am carrying twins. So all day....everyday I hear "Are you having twins" "When is the baby due" or "You sure you're going to make it to May 5th", those comments irritate me so bad…… I want scream. Just checking in on you ladies…..Belly~Rubs~To~All.

Disaya07 - February 22

ChattyKathy, it was through my doctors office, but I think a lot of places hear in NC offer it. We received a disc with about 60 pics on it, so that was pretty good. Well I went in for the dreaded Glucose Screen today and honestly it was not that bad like I thought it would be. The drink tastes like a non carborated soda. It's not that sweet like I thought I would be drinking liquid sugar. :-) But I will say that it made my little one very active. I also had to have the Rhogam shot today and I got it in my tush. :-( Not fun at at all! Happy Friday ladies!

Sims1 - February 22

i hear you wv_red. although i don't get comments, then again i'm in canada and we're wearing big giant jackets and noone can even tell i'm prego lol. but i know what you mean i can put my socks on in the morning, but i can not take them off by the end of day, and it's getting harder to put on pants because i can't bend, and i have no idea what my whoohaa looks like anymore. i can't read braille to shave it lol, so i'm getting hubby to bring in the reinforcements to get it shaved for me....he's even set a date and time this weekend to do.....it must be a wild crazy bush if hes making out to be such a task.

reneenay - February 22

Hi girls, yes Chattykathy, you are right. I have to be there for 3 hours and get my blood drawn four times. For a needle-phobe, it will be a fun-filled day! I'm really dreading it big time. Plus my right arm is not good for giving blood...last time they tried it the lady poked me five times. Looks like I'll be getting it all out of one arm. Well, at least I'll know what a junkie feels like. Jairia, I'm right there with you on that one, except I won't have to do it quite as early :) For those of you talking about shaving, I go and have the whole thing waxed. But I'm not gonna lie, it hurts like hell, especially right now. But it's worth it!

Sims1 - February 22

renee have you recently had your legs etc waxed??? i usually wax, but i just can't bear the tought of pain right now, and i don't know how comfortably i can move around and lie there to get them waxed, i'm considered it but haven't decided. this weeknd my hubby is using a shaver to give me a trim and stuff.....i feel so unattractive and like a sasquatch right now.

wv_red - February 22

Jairia that stinks that you had to cancel your shower. How is the bedrest going? The lil one doing good? Cg those are all beautiful names, great picks! Chatty I know what you mean about the grunting part. Its like a chore just to get out of bed to go pee. As for the breathing part I hope that its normal cause its happening to me too. My lil one actually kicked me so hard the other day she knocked the wind out of me. I was sitting at my desk then I was struggling trying to catch my breath. Scared the c___p out of me. Very unexpected. Reneeney holy c___p girl you are one brave woman!! waxed, wow. That made me cringe just at the thought of the pain, oh my. Sims I sooo laughed when I read your post!!! Settin up a time and everything that is too funny!!!! My dh pretty much said I am on my own besides I dont know how confident I am in him coming near me with a razor. That is kindof scary. RMC Christian is such a great name. Hey does anyone else think this thread is getting a lil too long??? That JMO. Well ladies have a good Friday and enjoy the weekend!!! WOOOOHOOOO finally Friday!

reneenay - February 22

Hi girls. Sims1, I don't wax the legs, just the who-ha. The whole shabang. It actually hurt really bad last time I went so this time I think I'll just do a partial bikini. I am actually still managing to shave my legs everyday. I'm surprising myself with that one. Yes Wv_red, it's not a pleasant time...the brazilian wax hurts like hell, and even moreso during pregnancy. But I'm addicted!

Sims1 - February 22

ooooooouch!! i used to get brazillians done when i was single and in my mid 20's (you never knew right?!! hehe) but the thought of getting one done now, i think it would send me into labor. i waxed throughout my first tri but then when the hair grew back it hurt so bad, so now i'm too scared to shave or wax. i swear waist down i'm no longer a woman......

ChattyKathy - February 22

I can totally sympathize. I've always wanted to do the waxing thing, but I don't think giving it a first try while preggo is the best decision. I HAVE been toughing it out and trying to move the belly out of the way to see (using a mirror, I just can't see the fine details down there!) I've discovered it can be used as a bargaining chip. If I'm going to go through all of that effort, I better get something out of it! And that means BF has to put up with finding a good position at least until I get tired and give up! haha I decided to paint my toenails today. I have definitely been feeling like less of a woman as well, so I decided I'd take time out of my morning routine to quickly paint my toenails. Not that it suddenly made me feel beautiful or anything, but at least now I know that even when I can't see my feet I'll know they look nice!
