i haven't even lost my plug yet. i'm so sad! i have an appointment tomorrow, though. maybe i will have at least dilated to a 1 or something. ANYTHING! lol!

Tonigirl - October 27

Hey Teddy...don't be sad...you're not due until around the 17th right? So, you've still got time before that plug will dislodge. But I know what you mean...it's like WOULD SOMETHING HAPPEN ALREADY!!?!?!? Now that my plug has come out, I keep thinking "When will this happen? Or am I going to be the lucky one that loses the plug and it still takes weeks for labor to come on?????" As much as I want this to happen, I also want to give my baby every chance to grow...I don't want to prematurlly speed this up...I want the perfect timing...God's timing. Keep your chin up girl...it's gonna happen!!!! :-)

TONIGIRL, HOW ARE U DOING? HAVEN'T BEEN ON LATELY, THE BABY HAS BEEN KEEPING ME VERY BUSY. JUST WANTED TO CHECK IN A SEE HOW U WERE DOING.

Tonigirl - October 29

Hey D...it's great to hear from you! I bet that little guy has been keeping you busy! But that's better than being as big as a house still waiting for it to happen!LOL! I was having some true contractions off and on yesterday...and boy was that NOT FUN at all! But they died out and I haven't really had any today. I did call labor and delivery though because I had never felt anyting like it and they told me that it sounded like the real deal, but then they stopped so who knows. But I know for sure they were nothing like the bhc's. So dh and I have been having s_x and doing some kind of foot ma__sage and I've been doing the eleptical...ANYTHING to bring this thing on full force!!!! Let's get 'er done already! LOL! But nothing is really working. So, it's back to the waiting game. Ugh! So, how's life with the new one...well, besides busy?

hansardkj - November 22

hey everyone! I'm a november mommy! Its a boy and he is due november 29th ! Yesterday , I had cramps all day and a little sharp pains last night but went to bed and now it's morning and nothing!!! I'm soooo ready to see him already and really want him before Thanksgiving!!

Tonigirl - November 24

Hi all!!! Hey Susan and Teddy how are ya??? Any babies yet????? And welcome hansardkj! Hi ladies...just wanted to share that I did have my baby and I now know what contractions feel like! LOL! My labor started on Nov 8th at 10pm when my water slightly trickled down my leg. We went into L&D thinking it was nothing and then my water broke all over the triage bed. I was only dilated to a 2.5-3cm and it stayed that way for 10 hours. I didn't start feeling contractions until 2am the next day. They felt like a wave that would start in my back and then move around to the front. It felt like I had a vice grip belt squeezing my back and belly with impressive force. I had to get Pitocin to speed up labor, but unfortunately it only increased the intensity of the vice grip contractions. Finally after 4 hours on Pitocin i got an epidural and that totally helped. I never felt any feelings like I wanted to poo until I was at 10cm which was about 2:45pm on Nov. 9th. I felt terrible pressue the ENTIRE time I was pushing and the last 45 minutes was the worst! It felt like I was trying to push a bowling ball out my b___t!!!LOL! I can laugh about it now, but at the time I thought I was going to pa__s out! Then at 4:45pm I had an episiotomy because her heart rate droped and had to get her out fast and gave birth to a 10lb 2oz baby girl. The cord had been around her neck, but once that was removed she was just fine. She was absolutely perfect in every way! My sweet little Aliyah Michelle has a full head of dark hair and she's a champion eater. We feel very blessed. well, that's my story! Okay ladies...I'm looking forward to hearing ALL about your story!

susandutchak22 - November 24

YAY Tonigirl!! Congrats!!!! I also had my little one!! Here it goes... On November 4th the doctor sc___pped me, god was that painfull...on November 6th I lost my mucus plug (tonigirl I so thought I lost it when I said but it was defenitly then..lol) and absolutely nothing happened, my due date came and went (Nov. 12th)....FINALLY, November 17th when I was outside taking the puppy out for a pee, he got away from me and I had to run after him, my water broke, it was like with my second one, little trickle then GUSH!! Soo I packed myself and my two other girls up, called my DH and went off to the hospital! Got to the hospital, they admitted me and poof NOTHING...not a single contraction or some type of action!! I was only 3 cm. So I stayed put in my room!! On November 18th, which was my birthday I was sure I was going to have a bday baby, but thats so not what I wanted (I feel babies should have their own special days!!). Still this day nothing!! At about 10pm on the 18th the doctor came in and said that if nothing happens by 5 am they were going to induce me....YAY!! 5 am came...I got induced and went through heck and back!! My baby girl arrived at 9:34am and was a whopping 9 lbs 6 oz, 23 1/4" long!!!! The biggest baby on the ward!!! It was a tough labour, they gave me meds that didnt start working until just after out baby was born!!!! Silly nurses thought I was joking when I said I couldnt stand the pain!! Oddly enough i did not have back labour with this baby!! Our little girls name is Taylor Ray and is such a beautiful and happy baby!!! I am so glad to have her in my life!! Sooooo does anyone else have a baby story....I love baby stories!!

Tonigirl - November 24

Oh Susan! YEAH!!!! How wonderful!! Well, your birth story sounds like quite the ordeal! What a load of c___p that your meds didin't work until AFTER! I'm sorry your nurse wasn't more sensitive to your needs. Man if there is any time in your life when having someone tender and caring there to help meet your needs is absolutely a necessity...it's during labor! I had an AMAZING nurse. She got me through some REALLY tough contractions before I got the epi (which was a dream, because I was so tired, I nearly fell off the birthing ball in between contractions!). This nurse stayed 6 hours pa__sed her scheduled shift because she didn't want to leave me before I'd had my baby. She was a breath of fresh air during a really tough experience. It's so funny that you had the longest baby in the ward, because I had the heaviest with the biggest cheeks! LOL! All the doctors and nurses kept coming in to my room to see the 10lb 2oz baby with the big squeezable cheeks! They also kept commenting on the Mama (me) that pushed out a 10 pounder in 2 hours without getting any hemmroids!LOL! I didn't even realize "roids" were an option! HA! Well, anyways...CONGRATULATIONS on your sweet little bundle!!! How's your little girl doing? I hope she's gaining weight and eating well. Many blessings to you and your pumpkin! :-)

FinallyPreggers - November 24

Oh man am I envious of you girls. Congratulations!!! I'm 4 days past due, only 'finger tip' dilated with a softening cervix that is still posterior. My complications are back and so I can barely move because I'm in so much pain. But guess what? They are so backlogged with inductions that I can't get one any time soon (sounds like Dec 6 will be induction date)! I think I might ask DH to bake me some labor cookies. Then again, I could try to follow Susan's lead if you all think it might work and summon all my energy and try to run :-D
