26 weeks today!!! Mari- I'm right there w/ ya. This is my 2nd & everything seems to be 10x worse, hang in there, it won't be long now! I just checked my myspace ticker & I have less than 100 days to go!!!! I love a baby story too- also deliver me, babies special delivery, birthday, & bringing home baby. My boyfriend says geez, how many births are you gonna watch. Lol. I'm just hooked to all those shows! MissP- stay strong, your babe is definatly a fighter- we're here for you, still praying. Hi Beka! Do you know what you're having, is this your first? I have a dr. appt tomorrow morning, can't wait to hear my lil Gianna's heartbeat again, I love it. I'll give you all an update tomorrow.

I also still have a couple weeks : ). I love all those baby stories, but my fav. is the one that comes on the discovery channel, The Baby Diaries and the Adoption Stories! I think this was my week my belly is finally getting bigger : ) yay! I didn't get to watch any today tho. I have my dd 13 months then I watch two other babies, 8 months and 2 years, sometimes I get lucky and they'll nap at the same time tho!

Holy Moly, Jen... that's a lot of baby shows!! I like bringing home baby too!! I swear, I'm so embarra__sed because I cry like a baby myself when I watch those shows. So, did we determine when the 3rd trimester starts?? Isn't it around 27 weeks?? Oh well, who cares! We're almost all there : ) Beka - glad you can join us. For the gals on their 2nd & 3rd babies... is anyone having a 2nd babyshower?? I'm sure we've all had big showers with our first ones, but are we supposed to have showers with the 2nd/3rd ones?? I'm on my 2nd and I've got everything from my first one. Only thing I really need are clothes and bedding for the crib (which I can't help myself and I end up buying stuff everytime I go shopping ) Just wondering...

Mari- I am not having one...some cultures and areas of the states really believe in it though...especially in like Jen's case where it has been many years since the last!!! Seeing as though I had mine in the spring of 07 I really don't need anything else! If it is a girl I have two neices 2 and 3 years of age so I am set!!! :)
Oh and third tri starts at 27 weeks according to my book and baby-gaga.com but I think they also say 28 weeks. Welcome angel- sorry to hear about the GD!!

That's what I thought, Liz. You're right... it's been so long since Jen's last one AND she's having a little girl this time too : ) I'm not having one and sounds like you're all set as well since your son was only born last year. I saved all of my daughters clothes, just in case! Since we know this one is a little man, we're having a garage sale in a few weeks and I'll sell her clothes (which just breaks my heart - but I have no room for them) Feels like my little guy is running a marathon today - he's been kicking non-stop all day. MissP - any updates?? How are you feeling? Jen - are you having your glucose test tomorrow?

Hi everyone! Well, I am still trying to convince my Mom that I need a shower. She believes that you are only supposed to get one, but I explained to that beings my son was born 9yrs. ago, all of my stuff is out dated (safety issues) & this one is a girl! So, hopefully she will have one for me, she asked for my b.f's Mothers # the other day, so who knows. The only pain in the *ss is that my Mom lives in WV & we are in Jersey, so she would have to take time off from work for the shower & when the baby is born. Well, at my appt. today they said my lil Gianna Bella is measuring a bit big, which I already knew- they bumped my date back by a week a while ago according to an early ultrasound, now she is measuring consistently w/ the origional date! Ugh... I go back to the dr. in 2 weeks- at 28 weeks for the glucose test- get to drink that yummy stuff, lol. Thankfully it's just the hr. long test though. Welcome along Angel! I hope everyone else is feeling alright today. I just wish I could go outta work now, it's killing my legs- all the floors are concrete & I have to be on my feet 2x through out the day for 1 1/2 hrs. each time. Starting to get some vericose veins & lil purple spots- yuck!!! I didn't work while prego w/ my son, so it's so much different this time around

Mari- don't sell your stuff! Send it to MN if I have a girl and I will buy it all! haha! Joking of course! It will be a sad day when I have to say goodbye to Jacob's clothes. I leave tomorrow for a business trip for 6 days!! I am so sad to go away from my boys for that long...I am totally procrastinating I haven't packed a thing and don't intend to for a few hours!!! Jen- heck yes you need one!! It has been to long since your last babe!!!! Maybe you should get your doc to give you a note that you can't work anymore! :) My doc always asks if I want one! I just laugh because I sit on my booty all day!

Hello everyone Angel i will be 28 weeks 2 on Sunday....i have to take the 3 hr test in the morning looks like we are in the same boat...lol....i have been having the tightness in the lower part and pressure have you had any of that?....do you know what you are having Angel? well good luck to everyone....

Jen - it's been so long since your last one AND you're having a girl this time around - you totally deserve a shower! I think it's all a big surprise and will happen when you're least expecting it : ) Liz - you're probably on your way to the airport right about now... i know what you're feeling leaving your family behind for a few days. I travel with my job as well and it breaks my heart to leave them behind. I'm supposed to stop traveling once I hit the 3rd tri - my last trip was actually a few weeks ago, however. Just think, this is your last trip for a long, long time : ) Did Ashley go on a cruise?? I wonder how that went for her. Saird - long time no talk! I'm sorry to here about your hubby!! I still think about you and your family. keep hanging tight.

Saird- I am SO sorry. You are in my prayers. I look at your facebook photos- you have a beautiful family! Mari- I actually don't fly out until early afternoon- I have to head into the office for a little while to gather my stuff (I have been so lazy about getting things together for this trip) and then head up to Aaron (DH)'s work - he wants to show his little man off before we head over to the airport! I don't usually mind my trips but goodness this is a long one- I have been telling myself for a while though that once this trip is done things are going to sail in the pregnancy so that helps. Gosh- Saird again you guys are in my thoughts and prayers

Thanks ejmeskan, I"ve been meaning to put up some more photos. Dh took one of me in my bikini this week while we were camping. Now that's funny. I can't get over how big my belly is, everyone thinks I'm due already. I wish we could all put belly pics alongside our names!

Sorry guys...work has been CRAZY! I am officially 24 weeks today....I feel so much pressure in my belly- I guess it's all the stretching. Freaks me out but I know its "normal"....This is my first- a little girl- Andrea. As for Bridal Showers, i know how upset you must be JNFR- even though this is my first I wont be having one either. We can't do it financially right now but I still plan to register since i know people will buy gifts once she arrives so they might as well get something she needs. God, i feel so blessed but i really just want it to be "TIME"!!!!

Hi girls - Saird, i feel devestated for you, that must be very difficult to cope with on top of being pregnant. Its already an emotional time without another extra stress. So when will he start treatment? Im a__suming theres is something they can help him with? You can get it off your chest here as much as you want, if you feel like it. Hey, you know ive been letting off some steam, so you go right ahead! Ej, glad your ok and JNFR - of corse you should have another shower seeing as its so long since your first. I dont remember seeing any rules about only one! Hi to all you girls and thanks to everyone whos thinking about me, thats really nice. Im ok at the moment, just hanging in there. I get to be poked and prodded in hospitals at least twice a week and i just feel like its taking ages for this week to end. I just want to hit 30 wks and then il feel i can relax and if he comes he'll be ok. It seems like forever and i know its only 2wks and 1day so its not that far. Im just being silly really. Everyday i keep him inside is better for us both. Hes been wriggling a lot and i feel enormous and in a lot of pain. I was measured yesterday and i measure 33weeks!! Its no wonder everyone, including the midwives and doctors have been commenting on my size. I also lost weight this week due to a reasction against the steroids, i told you id been feeling really ill, it turns out my blood sugar dipped really low and thats why i was so ill. Im a little better now and ate so much sugar the last 5 days but have managed to loose several pounds without evenb trying. Oh well, its back to the healthy diet now tho. Its going to be so difficult to eat like a normal woman after this baby! Anyway girls, whatever your doing, hope your having a good night, patience, how are things with you now, take care everyone night night x x x
