Hi girls - Saird, i feel devestated for you, that must be very difficult to cope with on top of being pregnant. Its already an emotional time without another extra stress. So when will he start treatment? Im a__suming theres is something they can help him with? You can get it off your chest here as much as you want, if you feel like it. Hey, you know ive been letting off some steam, so you go right ahead! Ej, glad your ok and JNFR - of corse you should have another shower seeing as its so long since your first. I dont remember seeing any rules about only one! Hi to all you girls and thanks to everyone whos thinking about me, thats really nice. Im ok at the moment, just hanging in there. I get to be poked and prodded in hospitals at least twice a week and i just feel like its taking ages for this week to end. I just want to hit 30 wks and then il feel i can relax and if he comes he'll be ok. It seems like forever and i know its only 2wks and 1day so its not that far. Im just being silly really. Everyday i keep him inside is better for us both. Hes been wriggling a lot and i feel enormous and in a lot of pain. I was measured yesterday and i measure 33weeks!! Its no wonder everyone, including the midwives and doctors have been commenting on my size. I also lost weight this week due to a reasction against the steroids, i told you id been feeling really ill, it turns out my blood sugar dipped really low and thats why i was so ill. Im a little better now and ate so much sugar the last 5 days but have managed to loose several pounds without evenb trying. Oh well, its back to the healthy diet now tho. Its going to be so difficult to eat like a normal woman after this baby! Good morning fellow October Mommies- lol. Saird- so sorry to hear about your hubby, refresh my memory, it's been a while- is your hubby the firefighter? MissP- yay! I am so glad to hear that you're feeling a bit better & that your lil prince is measuring big, that's awesome news! Liz- I hope your trip is going ok, like Mari said it will be the last one for a while, so don't stress too much about leaving the family for a few days. Mari- Ashley did go on a cruise, she was due to leave the 5th, so she should be back like today or tomorrow- she is so lucky! I can tell the 3rd tri is looming close ahead- I am slowly losing all my energy again. You get up the big mountain for the 2nd tri & come flying back down for the 3rd- I guess that's Gods way of reminding us of everything we had to go through before we bring our lil bundles of joy into the world, which makes us cherish & appreciate them even more. How is everyone feeling today? 5 more hrs. til I'm done work for the day! I dread being here more & more every day- gonna ask the doc about putting me out at my next appt. on the 24th.

HI girls, thanks for the kind words. Yes DH is a firefighter. He's been on chemo for the last year and a half. They've switched kinds to see if they can slow the growth. We're still fighting. Miss P, I'm glad you are still hanging in there. I am definitely feeling the tiredness returning as well! I was like "no, 2nd trimester energy, don't leave yet!"

I AM SOOO FRUSTERATED!!!! It seems like whenever things in your life start falling into place, something else happens. I got to a point where all my bills are caught up ( ex husband put me in major debt) & I am finally able to start saving some money- & what happens- I smacked a deer on my way to work this morning! (it is still dark out when I go into work) The bottom half of my driver side door is completely smashed in- ugh! Guess I won't be saving this month. The scariest part of it all wasn't even having the deer hit me, I didn't even care what my truck looked like at the time,it was waiting for my lil princess to move around afterward. I didn't go to work, I turned around & went home & woke my b.f. up- he got up, made sure I was ok, & went to look at the damage. This all happened at like 5 a.m., so I laid down to try & calm down & relax myself, so I would feel Gianna moving & know that she was ok- finally about an hr. later it felt like she was dancing around in there. I was so relieved!!!! That was the LONGEST hr. of my entire life. My durango will be able to be fixed, but as long as my baby is ok I wouldn't even care if it was totaled. Way to start off the week isn't it?

hello ladies.. so i just got back from my cruise which was absoluetely amazing, ii had such a blast and i didn't let being 26 weeks preggo get in my way, i was snorkeling, playing with monkeys and lots of duty free shopping!... i didn't get a chance to catch up on everything that has been going on this week, but i hope everyone is doing well, and it feels good to be back!

JNFR614, that must have been scarey, were you going quite fast at the time? I would have been the same i think. Im teaching my dh to drive and i am constantly tense worrying hes going to make some really terrible error and wrap us round a tree or something. Well im glad she started wriggling so you know shes fine. I think we worry about these bumps too much sometimes! But we cant help it. Saird - sounds like you and dh have fighting spirit, let us know how is new treatments go. Hopefully they will work better? You have to stay positive about it. Ashley, your holiday sounded so nice. I wish i could go somewhere relaxing. Well, no update on me and Tyler, just that he seems to be wriggling more than ever and thats great. Im back for the next scan on tuesday afternoon so just over 24hours to go. I just hope the fluid hasnt dropped too much. I dont want him to come for at least another 2 weeks! I was 28wks yesterday and i know every day counts, but i want to think weeks not days right now. 34 weeks would be my big milestone i think, so end of august/sept if possible. Best case scenario. I keep putting that in my mind to see if i can make it happen!! Okay girls well im back off to bed to see if i can get another hour or so....im soooo tired all the time now. x x

Oh Jen - I'm glad you and the baby are okay! That's got to be super scary. You're right - don't worry about that truck right now, as long as Gianna is wiggling around and you feel okay, that's the most important. Just recently, my doc said they are so safe in our bellies and there are so many layers of protection, it would be difficult for them to feel anything or get hurt. LOL... I complain because little Nazio kicks constantly and it feels like I don't get one minute of 'non-movement', so when he doesn't kick for like 20 min, I get all paranoid. Liz should be coming back from her business trip soon - poor girl, had to be away from her family for quite a few days. Hope she's doing okay. Ashley - WHOO HOO... You go mama - snorkling and playing with monkeys! I'm glad you enjoyed yourself. I'm taking the day off work today and taking my 4yr daughter to the pool. Ashley, not sure if I'll be as brave as you putting on a bathing suit this afternoon - YIKES!! I can't get over how big my thighs got! They are rubbing together now and I can't stand it! I was up 22.6lbs at my last appointment (I should be 27w2d, but the u/s says 28w5d). I hope this baby weight comes off just as easily as it did with my 1st one! I gained 55lbs with my daughter and it took me 7 months to lose it - It wasn't as quick as I would have liked to shed it, but it wasn't too difficult. Hope you other ladies are doing good : )

Hi girls, just a quickie as im shattered, just got back from this weeks scan and the good news is the babys turned and they could get a clear view of his bits and pieces, and all look perfectly normal at the moment. The fluid has stabilized again and they were able to find another pocket which is also good news. Its gone up to 6cm, which is good. On a negative note they are now investigating wether or not its possible that i still have toxoplasmosis, as this was diagnosed originally at 7wks but i was being treated abroad and he thinks theres a chance that what they gave me didnt work. It could mean the baby has toxo - but they are testing me and then i have to track down the original doctor to find out what tests he did on me and exactly what the results were. Then based on the results from me and the original results theyll decide if its worthwhile to do the amniocentisis - if i agree to do it. The doctors are just absolutley baffled why i have this problem and are just trying all sorts to find a reason. I dont think me or the baby still have toxo but im willing for them to test me to find out, i dont think il agree to the amnio, unless they tell me that its important for the babies health, like if its better for him to be taken out for example. Sop its all still a waiting game. The good news is the babys fine and the doc thinks my placentas ok for at least the next week or 2 so thats rea__suring. Once i get past 30weeks i can relax a bit i think. Anyway, thats whats happening, just thought id let you all know. How is everyone else? its quiet here at the moment! x x

Jen - It's scary when things like that happen, glad you two are doing ok. MissP - Its great the baby is looking well and that the fluid has risen. A little scary to hear it could only be a few weeks, hopefully things are ok and the little one can stay in there even longer, that would be a blessing! Ashley - It sounds like you had a blast on your cruise! I'm so jealous! I got to take a bath the other night, a whole 30 minutes well ok, 15 undisturbed, haha!! Take care ladies!

Hi ladies! All is well here. I had a little scare with some preterm labor but all is great! Just had contractions which were from heat exhaustion and dehydration I am doing just fine now! Baby has been great through the whole thing. I still don't feel very PG therefore I haven't been as careful as I should be...needless to say I am watching myself closer! MissP- that is SOOOOOOO awesome! I am so happy for you. Jen- SCARY! Ashley- nice to hear from you and that's sounds like such a blast on the trip!!! Ok take care

MissP, i soo happy to hear things are looking up for you, your positive att_tude and lots of praying really seems to be working! I hope your little guy hangs in there as long as possible. Ejmeskan, glad to hear that was just a scare.. hope you take it easy, but i know what you mean.. i seem to foeget i am pregnant alot.. and people have to remind me to slow down.. lol.. hope every one has a great rest of their day!

Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't been on in a few days, I've been trying to relax & take it easy. MissP- I'm so happy for you- a couple more weeks is all you need ( the longer the better). Well, today is my first day driving & being back to work since I hit that deer Sunday morning. Boy did I have the biggest panic attack ever! I can't wait to go out on disability, so I don't have to worry about driving in the dark for a lil while, until then, I will be driving here like a lil old lady- very slow, on top of the wheel, sweaty palms, hypervenelating...ugh- the joys of being tramatized by a d__n deer!

Hey everyone i had my u/s 2day and the baby looks great just like my son when he was a baby....he weights 3lbs 4oz so i have to have another u/s on the 14 to make sure he's not going to be really big...lol...my 1st baby weight 6lbs 7 oz so looks like he maybe be a little bigger....lol...hope all is well with everyone..and good luck

Hey everyone. We just got back from vacation. We had a great time and my husband and I are actually doing surprisingly well. I feel like my belly grew a lot while we were gone. The last week my belly has been in a lot of pain from stretching and the day we flew back I had painful contractions for about 2 hrs after we landed. It was very weird. I didnt get this uncomfortable until my 34th week with my last one (I never even had BH). This time Im at 29 wks 3 d right now and Im getting really uncomfortable. I have to have an u/s on the 25th because one of the babys kidneys was enlarged in the last one. Miss P hang in there! I know you can make it! I saw some new names on here so I hope I can get to know some of you. Me and my husband bought some new baby clothes while on vac so Im starting to get excited. I just wish I could nest but we may or may not be moving so I dont know. Anyways, hope everyone is doing well. Thanks for the well wishes.
