HI GIRLS! I am so excited to be back...remember me?? I started this thred way back when in our firstg trmester...so sorry I haven't been around for about 2 months now. We moved house and has to get a new internet connection- blah blah blah- things have been so busy and now i can check in with you all again. I have read as many posts as i can- there have been sooo many since my last one. Well I've got about 9.5 weeks to go now...it's going to go so fast when you get into those single digits. Miss P and Saird...wow i feel guilty for feeling sorry for myself lately with everything you two are going through, it really put things in perspective. How are you both? Seems things are a bit better Miss P...and your husband Saird? Well I am also a whale and can not stop eating..not good. I pa__sed my glucose test though which is good :-) Hey well I am having a little girl and was wondering (honest opinions here please otherwise I wouldn't ask) but what do you think of the name Antonia? x x x

Welcome, back Joey!! Glad to hear you've moved and are settled in! I'll be completely honest and I just adore the name Antonia... You're also talking to an Italian chic from Chicago, so of course I'm going to love that name! Does it have any meaning behind it? I'm having a little boy and we're naming him Ignazio (we'll call him Nazio for short) - it's a super long story, but his name has such beautiful meaning behind why we choose it.

I love the name Antonia, that is on my list of girls names if we ever have one. I have caught a cold from my ds, I think I have been sick more times during this pregnancy than any other time in my life!

I'm having as much issues with the size thing as most of you except its the opposite. My dh actually asked me how I can feel so much more miserable this time and I'm not even half the size I was with my daughter. I just looked at him and wanted to cry, he wasn't being mean it was an honest question. But it hurt. Really I'm not in bad shape at all, I mean I'm started to not sleep every other night, I have this knot in my back and can't get comfy, I feel like he's going go fall out when I stand up or after I pee for the umpteenth time. The pokes and jabs can be painful at times. But I really count my blessings as we have nothing serious going on. A few weeks ago in cla__s, I go to night cla__ses, I informed the teacher and she asked how far along and I told her 6 and then her and some other students were like congrats and I'm like well... months and thanks! They were like are you sure your pregnant?! JOEY - Were you the one who was suppose to get you wisdom tooth pulled right around the same time I did?

Also that is a beautiful name!

Hey ladies, I had another u/s today. It was so cool, we got to see his little face and he was yawning and smacking his lips. Bad news is that now both of his kidneys are holding fluid and one has 1 mm over what is normal. I wont know what any of it means until next friday when I go see my doc but my amniotic levels are normal so that is good. From what I read online it probably means that I will keep having to have u/s and then they will give him an u/s a week after he is born to see what is going on with his kidneys. So wish us luck.

Patience - I hope everything goes well with his kidneys. Isn't the kidneys main function to filter urine, I wonder what it could mean if its retaining fluid? Hopefully it resolves itself before he's born.

HI EVERYONE- JUST HAVE A MINUTE TO SAY A QUICK HELLO! MARI- YOU'RE A BRAVE WOMAN, ARE YOU READY FOR THAT PARTY? LOL!!!

joey - July 26

hi girls...so glad you like the name..thanks for the input :-) Britt..no wasn't me with the wisdom teeth- although i did have all 4 of mine removed quite a few years ago now, not a great thing to go through is it?! How did you go? catsmommy..no there isn't a particular reason behind the name, just one that i love...i grew up with a girl whos older sister was named that and she was just a nice, beautiful girl and i always thought it was a sweet name so though hey why not! What is the story behind your little mans name? I think the shortening Nazio is so cute! Patience, what was the follow up with the kidneys? Anymore information? Poor little thing...i'm no doctor but i thought that babies whos kidneys didn't filter properly (which is common in newborns) were usually born jaundice- also common and easily fixed...but obviously i haven't heard of it being picked up in a scan before the baby is born...i hope bubba is ok? x

joey - July 26

ok sorry patience...totally ignore my baby brain..that would be the liver not the kidneys! look forward to heareing your update...and hope he is ok

Hey girls Im new-ish. I just joined a few weeks ago. Im due October 11th, with a BOY! Im naming him Rylan.I have a few questions but I will ask them later so I can just everyone a chance to read this first to get to know me.

JNFR614 - July 27

Hi & welcome RylansMommy! If you have ?'s ask away! Afterall, that is what we are all are here for- we are a support system for each other. All the women on our thread are awesome- they are very helpful & supportive. Glad you decided to join in!

Patience2008 - July 27

Hi Rylans mommy! Joey, I looked up stuff online and it said that since my amniotic fluid levels are fine it means that his kidneys either have a small blockage that are not letting all the fluid out or that the valves on his kidneys are allowing fluid to flow back into the kidneys after it releases it. It is very common (1 in 200 babies) and it usually resolves itself within the first year after babies born. They will just have to continue to monitor his kidneys on u/s til hes born and again about a week after he is born with u/s. BUT this is all from the internet, I do not speak to my midwife til friday so Ill wait and see what she says. Im really not worrying too much though, if that is all thats wrong than I consider myself lucky!

I asked my question on this forum, just not ih this thread. If you guys look at it, I would appriciate it!

MissP - July 27

Hi girls, and hi Joey, yes its nice to have you back. Of course some of us will remember you from the 1st tri board. It seems a long time ago though! Probably because so much has happened, well for me anyway, since that time. Thanks for asking after me. I think Antonia is a beautiful name and you should keep it! Patience, im sorry about your worrying scan, and i know how you must feel but your being very good about it, what with everything else, so gold star for you! It was one of the things they checked my baby for because of the low fluid but thy havent been able to find any cause yet. I had also read the same info as you when i was doing my research so thats good news for your little one, if its something they can sort out after the birth. It must be a relief, even tho obviously you'd rather he didnt have anything wrong. Let us know what the midwife/consultant say when you go. Ive got another big scan on Tuesday so im eager to go. And i turned 30weeks today so i feel so pleased about that. I feel like it was a big milestone somehow. Im having a miserable day because im so tired and i just feel ill constantly, and weepy, which i hate feeling like this. It makes me feel like a weak person which im not. But yous probably all know what i mean, im sure we all go through these c___p days where we feel like we cant go on. I just need a good nights sleep, but they arnt forthcoming these days so il have to find another remedy! Glad everyones more or less ok anyway. So Joey, your due day must have been bumped into sept surely? x x
