sbea~~ congrads on little Bethany Grace
Dicegirl15~~ congrads on little Trent Alexander
I am so happy to see that the October babies are finally making their debut. The mommies and babies are doing well, most of all had nice labor & delivery experiences. I so wish all of you the best of luck with your new little ones. I am so jealous. Even though it is only 10 days away from my scheduled repeat c section I can not wait. Again congrads to AlL of the October mommies that have had their babies already. To the rest of us who are still waiting..... our time will be here soon. Good luck and god bless all.

Congrats, sbea and Dicegirl! How exciting!! :)
I must admit to being jealous reading all of these birth stories as my little one will be 4 days overdue as of tomorrow. Saw the dr today and he scheduled an induction for Wednesday morning...even tho he's pretty sure it's gonna end in a c-section, he said we have to at least try to have him naturally so that the insurance will be sure to cover it...not very excited about it, but I also don't want the bill landing in our hands either! I guess there's still a chance I could go into labor before then, but I really don't feel like I will...he seems pretty content to stay where he is :).
We did get good news from the ultrasound the other day and the placenta is in the right place, yay! And the baby seems to be healthy and doing well...although I can say that we've definitely outgrown each other! I keep trying to tell him that he'd have a lot more room if he would just come out... :)
Best of luck to everyone, whether it be in having your babies or just playing the waiting game! :)

Congrats to wunder, sbea and dicegirl! Sbea that's awesome that our babies were born on the same day. Hope you are all feeling well, and your babies are letting you get some sleep. My little man sleeps all day long, it's hard to even wake him up to eat. Then as soon as the lights are our for bed, he's wide awake and impossible to get to sleep. I'm also not very good at sleeping when the baby sleeps during the day so I'm beat. But he's so cute and makes the funniest faces.
Munch, melay and all other expecting moms, good luck! I can't wait to read about your babies. In the meantime get some rest!! Probably not so easy at this point in pregnancy :)

I'm right there with you.......I'm 38 weeks, and since last week I can't take more than ten steps w/out the feeling the baby is ready to fall out. The pain is something else! I only made it to 34 weeks with my son, so this is all NEW to me. Scared me at first but now I'm just getting use to it. I had the doc check me on Friday, and said that I'm "thinnning out", but still closed. That calmed me down. My blood pressure was high so I had to do a 24hr urine test last night. I find out tomorrow at the docs if I pa__sed any protein, if I did we are having a CSection this week. If everything looks okay we keeep our Oct 21st C Section. This is getting so exciting!
Congrats on all the Octboer babies!!!
Love,
Sarah

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!!!! I AM FINALLY 26 TODAY
Today I am 38wks 1day, c section scheduled for next monday. I am so happy but so nervous at the same time. I think that I am so worried about the whole surgery, and if something God Forbid was to happen then I am leaving my son and a newborn daughter without their mommy. Ive been praying and I know that all will be ok, i just need to calm down. So here is my update from my docs apt yesterday. We had to wait a hour bc he was called away as soon as we got there for an emergency c section. But we talked with the nurse and got all the information and things while he was gone about the section, you know what to do what not to do, what time to be there, all that good stuff. Well he came back and had a hard time finding her heartbeat, turns out she totally moved to the opposite side the little bugger. Heartbeat sounds good, growing well. My cervix still has not changed closed, thick, and high. But he asked if we had any questions about the c section. We said no, so he said that he will see us on Monday at the hospital. I am so excited.
Sarah ~~~~ yes i am totally with you on the pelvic pressure and pain. I have been having it for forever, and every time i ask my doc he tells me that its just the baby pushing down. Wow it hurts like that??? But yeah after a little walk or something, expecially getting in and out of bed in the middle of the night. Make sure you keep us posted on what is going on with your 24hr urine test. I am praying for the best for you.

It's been fun reading your stories and hearing about the healthy babies. I am 38 weeks tomorrow and still waiting. The pressure is almost unbearable, it hurts just to walk somedays. I will find out tomorrow how far I am dialated. I am hoping this baby can wait until Friday to come as that is when our brand new hospital opens! Still dont know what we are having, anxiously awaiting finding out!

Hey everyone, Bethany is now 2 weeks (tomorrow) old. I can't believe it. It has been rough and tiring. I think this last week I almost broke. Baby blues I guess. My hubby came out to find me rocking the cradle because I couldn't/ wouldn't hold the baby. He sent me to bed and all I did was cry into his shoulder and talk about how I am a bad mother. I am doing much better now that she is on much more of a routine of a feeding. she feeds around 10:30 to 11:00 PM, then 3 Am and 7 Am. Getting more sleep really has helped. Though what I wouldn't give to have just 4 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Though I am getting concerned about the baby. After probably half to 2/3rds of her feedings she is throwing up a clear/whiteish stringy fluid. It can be almost a 1/4 cup to just a couple tablespoons. She works so hard to get it up too. I have a doctor's appointment on monday and will be mentioning it to him.
I keep checking to see if there are any other baby stories. Can't wait!!

Hi girls, I am still here...still waiting! The new hospital is open, so glad I have made it this far. On wed I was dialted to 2 and was 75% effaced...with my other 2 kids, I had the baby within 48 hours of that...This must be a girl that is going to make me wait! Heehee. SBEA: You are a great mom! Rest when you can...and hope you get some answers on the baby spitting up, might just be a reflux type issue. Anyway, I'llkeep you all posted!

Hello all! We welcomed our lil Ethan David into the world on Wednesday, October 14th. He was 9lb. 9.2oz and 22in long...don't really know where he fit inside my 5'1" body lol! It definitely explained my horrible indigestion tho...there just wasn't enough room for anything but Ethan in there!
We went in on Wednesday morning for the induction and they started me on pitocin at 9am...by 10am, I was asking for the epidural lol! I was pretty sure I was gonna want one but when the pain never stopped - contraction or no contraction - I knew I was gonna have to have some relief especially since I had only managed to sleep for about an hour the night before. So I had the epidural by 10:30 and by 12:15, I was fully dilated! However, since no one thought it was going to happen that fast, the epidural was too strong for me to start pushing for another couple of hours. Started pushing around 2 and he was born at 3:43pm. The pushing was by far the worst part but it was probably because Ethan was just sooo big. I felt the burning most of his way down instead of just when his head was coming out. Of course, since he was a good sized baby, I had to have an episiotomy to avoid tearing which was a little unfortunate for me especially afterward cuz I just wanted to hold my baby, not be st_tched up lol! But with the exception of the st_tching, I felt great and completely normal about an hour after delivery and have felt great ever since! Ethan is a wonderful baby and my husband is a fantastic father so it all makes the last few days seem somewhat surreal! The only problem I've had so far is b___stfeeding...it's not going well at all and is very frustrating for both the baby and myself. I have an appointment scheduled with a lactation consultant on Monday but I've gotten so worried about him not getting enough food today and tomorrow that I finally just decided to pump and bottlefeed him until Monday...I know it's not a good move if I want him to b___stfeed, but on the other hand, I don't want him not eating for 2 days either! It is definitely a horrible feeling when you think you can't provide for your little one. Other than that, everything has been really really great. I absolutely love having him at home and am just enjoying my little family being able to be together for the first time :)
Best of luck to all of you having your lil ones...can't wait to read the rest of the birth stories!!

Anyone else seriously tired at the end? I'm still working 9-5:30 Mon-Fri & walking every day. But I feel like I got hit by a truck since Friday, just want to sleep/lay in bed. Is this normal?
