Hello everyone! Sorry I haven't been on in a few days- I was a lil upset & my Mommy is here visiting for the weekend, so it's been busy around here. Today is my baby shower! I am so excited, I will tell you all about it later. Can't wait to put all the baby's things together! I went w/ the rainforest collection- I absolutly love it- it can be used for either a girl or boy which is why I went w/ it in the first place. We plan on having 2 more babies- gonna start trying for the next one in a year or two. I wish I could be a stay at home Mommy, but unfortunatly need to stay working for the time being. Well, I'll chat w/ you all a little later- hope you all are doing well!

Hope you ladies had a good weekend! I moved out of my house for a few days. We're getting all our hardwood floors refinished and the fumes are bad for me, the baby and my daughter. I'm staying with my parents - boy, I didn't realize how much I miss living here! There house is 10x bigger AND mom's been cooking awesome homeade meals - yummy. Hubby didn't come with because all the windows are open at our house to air out the place and the poor dog will be by himself. I took my daughter to the zoo on Saturday - what a mistake. So hot and humid, it was a bad idea for an 8 month pregnant chic lugging a wagon around. I've got my next appt on Thur - I'll be anywhere between 34-35 wks... when do they start doing internal checks?? Jen - I hope you had a beautiful shower and I'm sure you got amazing gifts. I too wish I could be a stay at home mommy but these times are challenging and two incomes seem to be necessary. The babies bedding arrived on Friday - YAY! I can't wait to wash everything and put all his little stuff away.

Hi ladies! Tell us about your shower Jen! I can't wait to hear about it and I want to see photos! Mari that's so fun that your mom is cooking like that for you but I am sure that you really just want to be home and settled!!! Funny about the zoo, I am attempting the MN State Fair which is supposedly the largest fair in the world or country or something and I am scared to death...what am I thinking? HA!!!

Ok wish me luck ladies...I am attempting pilates/yoga tonight for the first time...HILARIOUS!!!! This would be a hilarious site without my budda belly! ha!!!

CatsMommy - August 25

Liz - Good luck at the fair! If it's not too hot, you'll be fine. Drink lots of water and hope for lots of port-o-potties : ) I'm a BIG fan of pilates!! Love it, love it, love it! Had to stop, however about 6 weeks ago - was getting to hard. That's how I lost my first baby weight. Good luck to you - let me know how it goes. Is this pilates/yoga geared toward preggo ladies?? I'm anxious to know. Jennifer... where are you??? I want to hear about the shower.

I posted just a few pics on my myspace- will post some more as people e-mail them to me. I'm gonna try & get some rest- I've already washed & hung all of the cute lil clothes & put everything together. Post more later about it tomorrow, after some much needed r & r.

Hi ladies! How are you all. I had my scan today and everythings fine, fluids a little lower but not critical and thyre happy with the babys growth, in fact hes weighing in at 6lbs already!! I am so scared! im 34weeks now and wasnt expecting him to be so big yet, but i guess my bump measuring at 40wks would be an indicator. This is my first pregnancy thats gone full trm so i really wasnt expecting such a large bundle. Not for my first one! I have to wait 2 weeks to see my consultant with the results and he may decide that he has to come early, but we will see closer to the time i guess. Otherwise hes measuring fine, with a big tummy which made me laugh. Im just glad that everything seems ok so far. I know i still have to wait and see if theres anything wrong with him when hes born, but i feel more confident each day that he'll be fine. Im putting the risk to the back of my mind for the moment and not dwelling on it. What else can you do really? Mrs sandy, how did it go at your scan? Im interested to see what they advise you with your big baby. Hey all the babyshowers, pilates and fairs sound lovely, im kind of staying put and settleing with pottering around the house! Altho i would like to go swimming sometime. Ok well i hope all you ladies are hanging in there x x x

Good to hear from you MissP...I am so glad things are going well! Keep us updated! Jen- your photos are great...looks like agreat shower! Mari- I didn't go to pilates...I went for a walk with Aaron and Jacob instead! I am doing Turbo kickboxing tonight though so I will get some exercise!!!!

Patience2008 - August 26

Hey ladies, 35 weeks today. Miss P, I am so glad to hear everything is still going ok. To think, they said you might only make it to 30 weeks! I dont know how you ladies can talk about kick boxing or pilates. Maybe pilates....I used to do that and really liked it. Anyways, I am just walking 3 miles a day and it is completely exhausting me. I have a doc appt tomorrow so if anything interesting is said Ill let you all know!

Saird - August 26

I know MissP it's awesome after everything you've been through that you're still hanging in there. I don't know how you girls can talk about pilates and kickboxing and walking...jeez, I feel like every part of me hurts. I've been canning though I guess, which means too much time on my feet, but what can you do? Today is my son's 5th bday so I made an Oreo Cake...that's right, get the cravings going....hehe

HEllo everyone i am back! I went into premature labor and was up in the cities for a week. im dilated to two! but ive returned home ...to bed rest...but i did find out that im having a little baby girl!

ejmeskan - August 26

Wow Angela-hang in there! Where do you live? Where are "the cities"? Patience I decided against the pilates last night and went for a 3 mile walk..now THAT kicked my a$$! Seriously. I feel better right now (after JUST getting done with an hour turbo kickboxing cla__s) than I did last night after a slow 3 mile walk...that took everything out me...not sure how I will do it at the fair on Friday...but I know I will push through just to get my cheese curds! ha!! Saird...YUMMY cake and happy birthday to the little man!

ejmeskan - August 27

Why didn't I know that? I am in MN!!! Are you south of the cities? I was just wondering because I don't know many other states that call it "UP to the cities!!!" Did you have to go to Abbott?

angelhdfd - August 27

Hahah i'm not sure if that makes any sense hahah but its like a two hour drive from where i live....no i had to go to Fairview... Unniversity of minnesota hospital...because of the NICU unit!
