No kidding, where is everyone. Well girls, all week I've been trying to figure out why labour stopped for me last sunday. Midwives told me babies head had to get lower, so I've been wal king and squatting and NOTHING. So then yesterday I laid down on my side for a nap and started having lots of BH and could feel the baby pressing against my pubic bone, so I laid on my back and pushed as hard as I could and 'pop' baby dislodged and moved down (and I had major shooting pains in the cervix to verify!) Then I woke up at 4 this morning to some pretty intense contractions, that I had to breathe through and I"m losing whitish gunk now so I must have accomplished something. Contractions seem to be dying off for now, unfortunately, but we'll see what the day brings. xo

Jen it must be SO weird to know the actual day she is coming! Aryanna- WOW you are brave...I would have been afraid I was going to pop that babe out! I bet you go today or tomorrow! I had a pretty funny thing just happen to me....I sneezed 3 times and I just wet myself so much I thought my water broke...literally there was urine RUNNING down my legs!! TMI I know but I was just chuckling to myself because my house has some how because a STY and I was like SH*T I can't go yet I have to clean!! :) My little man woke up at 6:30 this morning (usually sleeps until 8-9 ) and OF COURSE I was out for my girlfriends b-day last night and didn't get home until midnight and Aaron has to work until 1 because they have a huge project going on...DANG it! I went to the store and bought $100 worth or random food I am going to cook and freeze...we will see how that goes...I would MUCH rather nap but that's what happens when daddy gets home!!!

Hi ladies we're doing good here. His jaundice levels have gone down quite a bit and he's at 6lbs 1oz. Lexi is still handling things well but her teeth are starting to bother her, so far she skipped a tooth on each sides top and bottom and the ones she skipped are now bumps as well. So shes getting her molars in. I'm pooped as I have to wake him and feed every 2-3 hours even at night, Lexi was up screaming at 10pm right after I finished feeding Jaidyn and was about asleep, so I gave her tylenol. BABYWISH Congrats on bringing the little one home!! Thats where I wanted to be from the moment he came out, even tho before I said I was staying at the hospital as long as possible, lol. As for the formula/b___stmilk thing thats crazy they said they'd have to wean her off bm! If shes well enough to go home she should be fine on b___stmilk with no fortifier. Now that I'm thru with engorgement its a lot of work keeping him awake during feedings, but I know soon enough he'll be more awake and things will be fine. I'd say if you want to b___stfeed definately do it. Isn't it suppose to be the best, especially for preemies, it has what they specifically need. OM gosh poor Mari! My DH had kidney stones and felt severe pain in his testes, he was almost crying and I couldn't get to the hospital fast enough. I couldn't imagine the pain, and how that would feel when pregnant! Wow, it sounds like it could be any second for a few of you! EJ - That is just hilarious about the sneezing. I actually was afraid I was leaking pee instead of fluid thats why I didn't want to go in and get checked!! haha!

Hi all. Sammie was constipated when we brought her home so our first night was pretty rough she was up screaming every 15 minutes. She finally let it loose Thursday and had 3 bowel movements that day. Then Friday (yesterday) came and she was bound up all night, I was alone, hubby was working so naturally I panicked, started crying and he came home early from work (he works nites). Still nothing since Thursday...doc said to put a tsp of karo syrup in her bottle and try stimulating her b___t by putting vaseline on my pinky and putting it up her b___t, did that 2x still nothing, he also said to stop giving her the iron supplement for a couple days. She poots but she's still trying to push. Poor little thing is miserable. If nothing happens tomorrow, we're gonna take her to the ER cuz her little belly is so swollen n hard. I wanna cry along with her.

DESTINY - October 5

HE'S HERE!!!! Friday Morning I was just sitting down to post you ladies and let you know that I went another night and still no babay, Then GUSH.. My water broke. I went to the hospital about 7am, they admitted me, no contractions at all so they started me on pitocin around noon, gave me an epideral around 2 and He was born at 3;49 that afternoon. He weighed 7lbs 12oz was 19 1/2 inches long and he scored a 9.9 on his tests. All moms say there kids are beautiful, but he really did come out almost perfect, no conehead, he was a perfect shade of pink and hasn't cried much at all. So Handsome, We named him Jonathan Michael and we call him johnny. My 2 year old loves him. He was making little squeaking noises, and my two year old started to cry "Mommy, Baby Johnny no cry" He wanted me to fix it. It really was cute. My 11 month old just keeps touching his head and laughing. Well giving birth to this one was easy, but about an hour after he was born, they took me into to surgery to get my tubes tied, that wasn't so bad until I started to bleed a little and they thought I was going to Hemmorage again with this one, so they pumped me full of pitocin and other meds to contract the Uterus so I didn't hemmorage, so between the tubal and the contracting I thought I was going to die. Couldn't even hold baby for more than five min without cryin because I was in so much pain. I could have stayed at the hospital for a few more days, but I told the doc I wanted drugs and wanted to go home, So Johnny and I came back to a house full of chaos last night. So, did I win the race on who was next...Oct 3rd 3:49.. Saird, I am so glad I don't have to use my husband anymore, and I know the look you are talking about because I got the same one.lol. I think what put me into labor was asking the doctor to induce because that gave me a definite end date, which let me relax about it. and I asked him to strip my membranes, and the next morning my water broke. Yuck, I thought it was gross, never had my water break on its own before, the last three times the doc did it. I am so excited. So are we taking bets on who's next again? I will post pics and let you guys know.

Congrats DESTINY...so happy for you...it seemed like it went be fairly fast...but what do I know? My baby is still inside of me. I was just saying to my DH that it is so surreal seeing that we are all going to deliver this month...I am getting a little nervous...congrats to all who have delivered and good luck to all of us who are waiting (im)patiently...sending contraction energy your way!

Patience2008 - October 5

Well, my little guy is finally here. He was born on Oct 2 at 7:02 pm. I had contractions all day on wed and they just got worse as thursday went on. I had my dh come home from lunch and take me to l&d. I was 4 cm and having crazy contractions. I got an epidural about 2 hrs later and dialated super fast. They told me I could push and 3 pushes later there he was. He seems so tiny to me, he is only 7 lbs 11 oz and I didnt tear at all. My first son was 9 lb 1 oz and and I had a horrible recovery. We are doing great and he nursed right off the bat. Aside from nursing pains everything is great. Talk to you all when I get more time.

Ohhhh ladies I am SOOOOO HAPPY for you guys! I can't believe how many of you gave birth since I have last read this forum! It is absolutely amazing. Wow....you guys really are troopers and knowing you made it through (without it being too bad) just gives me the strength i need. I go to the doc tomorrow, i guess to discuss my options since the baby is breech. I decided against the external version, so I am a__suming they will want to schedule a c-section. I am soo scared but i know she has to come out safely SOMEHOW! Well, once again congrats to all....BIG kisses for all the little angels! MWA MWA MWA! :)

ejmeskan - October 6
