34 WEEKS TODAY!!!!! I'm soooo bored & lonely!!!! My baby boy started school today- 4th grade & my boyfriend went to work- so I'm here all by myself- wish Gianna was born, then I'd have some company. Just wishful thinking I guess, lol. I don't go back to the dr. til the 12th, hey does anyone know when they start doing internal checks?

ejmeskan - September 3

Email notificiations? I didn't know they did that...that would be helpful - I just always check!!! Thanks for the b-day wishes...I had a wonderful day!!! Hubby ended it with a very sweet card from my baby boy and one from him...a dozen roses from him and this really cool Hawaiian plant coming out of lava rock from my son and then he got me Tauts- the Brooke Burke post partum belly band- YEAH!!!!! Jennifer- my clinic would wait until 40 weeks if I wanted them too. Some clinics start at 36 others at 37. With my son they did it at 37 weeks...then I asked that he skipped my 38 internal because there was no point (even if I was a 4 it still could have been a while so I dind't want false hope!) and then I just went upstairs to L&D instead of going to my appt at 39 weeks because I was in labor! Ok question for you ladies...all of you but interested also on those who have subsequent pregnancies...with Jacob my son- I had just crazy insane sore b___bs in the 1st tri, and that was it (unless nursing of course!) then this one I haven't had ANY soreness at all until yesterday...I literally feel SOOOOOO engorged and sore- I am sure it is just getting prepared to make some milk but still...they are very sore...has this happened to anyone else?

Saird - September 3

Nope, not the engorged thing, but do get 'let down' feelings, all tingly and then have colostrum leaking. So I went to the midwives today (I'm 35 weeks) and I measured 40! Holy c___p. I've now gained 30 lbs as well...no more please...eeks. They said my babies head is quite low and I said "I know, I can feel those shooting pains in the cervix all the time." I hope these are good signs. I so don't want to go overdue. Anyone feeling like they could go early?

CatsMommy - September 3

Jen - I have my next Doc appt on the 11th - My doc said she's giving me an interal exam that day. I should be about 36weeks by then. My baby girl started school yesterday : ( She was so happy to be back with her friends (she's only in Pre-K). Liz -My b___bs are SUPER SOAR! They don't feel engorged just yet, but they do leak almost daily, which is just driving me nuts! I have a feeling this kid is coming sooner than expected... Or maybe it's just wishful thinking, ha! I just want it out! I'm so frustrated and uncomfortable.

CatsMommy - September 4

Liz - forgot to mention, yippy on the tauts! I hear that works really well. I purchased myself a generic version of it at motherhood maternity.

angelhdfd - September 4

My due date is OCt. 5th. I'm 35 weeks and 4 days along.

cherryzz08 - September 4

ejmeskan - September 4

Hi ladies! Angel- holy buckets...hang in there...just a few more days!!! Ok ladies...SOMEONE...ANYONE has to let me know when they have the babe!!!!! I have a feeling I am going late...I am planning on the end of Oct -I am due Oct 18th...so I may be one of the lone soldiers here and I will be lonely!!! Mari- I don't know if I am going to buy the Tauts or something else...he just gave me the little picture but asked that I buy the one I want...but I feel like spending $60 on something for 40 days worth of wear....is it worth it??? Anyone else's babe still breech? I am about 80% sure mine is still transverse. My son was head down at 28 weeks and didn't move!! I have my 35 week appt next Friday and I think I will probably have an ultrasound that day...Saird...I bet you are going early with measuring ahead like that!!!! Wow ladies...I keep feeling like it isn't happening anytime soon but then I see how much progress you all are making and it makes it real!! PLEASE someone tell me when you have the babe! :) haha!!

britt_m - September 4

Things are staying steady here, I have a fetal a__sessment appt today then a midwife one next Thursday. I did have period cramps again yesterday but I read its normal at this stage. Angel hang in there, that lil bub seems so excited to come out, haha! I'm due Oct 22 so I'll probably be with you EJ. Unless anything changes but I'm not nearly as stressed, not watching 2 extra babies not going to school, financially we're on track again, ahh. I have to put Alexea in childcare for a few hours today on base, I always get so nervous, imagine when I start working again, haha. She actually does well tho, and I know its good for her too. I don't think I'll be getting the band for after pregnancy. We're really trying to save mulla so I can get cla__ses out of the way before I start working. I can't believe how far along some of you are, it really puts things in perspective! Who's going first..... I can't wait to find out and see some pix!

ejmeskan - September 4

I'm with you Britt- I am A-ok with having this take its time...I don't know that I am ready for a 17mo old and a new born! :) Life will be great I know...but I am still enjoying my rest when I can get it!

Saird - September 4

Hey EJ, or anyone for that matter, my midwives gave me this book on Optimal Foetal Positioning (by Jean Sutton and Pauline Scott) it's short and to the point, but wow, the things I never knew before! I highly recommend everyone looks at this or at least google it or something. Especially if you think your baby is in the wrong position.

CatsMommy - September 4

Liz - I heard good things about those post-partum bands. If you don't feel like spending $60, the one I purchased at Motherhood only cost $20. I heard you can also purchase them at Wal-Mart and/or Target, but didn't see them there when I physically went to the stores.
