Last night dh and i went out- we walked three blocks there and three blocks back to the hotel- while walking there i started having shooting pains in my vajayjay that went through my thighs- we finally made it and the same thing happened on the way back- when i got back to the hotel and sat for the while i could barely get up to walk- it has not let up yet. feels like i am so sore and the pains wont stop- this followed by a thick discharge all of a sudden. i have been sore down there before especially when rolling over at night but not to the point where i can barely walk. Should i call the doctor or be concerned? i just went to the doctor last tues, but i wasn't checked down there and i just hate to keep calling them all the time. Any advice please.

What week are you? I've had pains that make me unable to walk for a while, though it usually goes away. Are you concenred that you are going into labor early? I think pains down there is a normal thing as the baby moves down and your cervix effaces too. You should call if you are concerned, that's what they are there for and if they feel it's normal they won't ask you to come in...

35 weeks- i am scared that i am going into labor or at least that i am dialated. i don't get checked again until next week so i just want to know if maybe i am getting closer- i know he's head down and in position but just nervous about if i am going to go early or not.

Give them a call then, even if you do have to go in early it's worth it, that way you don't have to be stressed out about it.

I think I will. I was beginning to feel a little better and dh and I made a run to the grocery store and now i'm hurting badly again. Hopefully they won't put me on bedrest or anything- it seems to ease up when i just sit/lay around but when i have to walk it gets worse. thanks again!

Ughhh- I had this with my first. Rest! Make sure you have plenty of pillows when you go to bed, and here is something that also helps--- it's new. Just google Bed-Pal Maternity straps. I have one and I love it. It's a long padded strap that attaches to your footboard. You can use it to grab onto to sit yourself up. Cartoons are hysterical on the web site so enjoy.
