the doctors told me my blood type is a positive and they said my anitbodies are positive and that i am rh positive and i had her explain it she said something bout my body attacking my baby and i have no clue whats going on can any of you tell me? she made me do blood tests all over again so im worried please help

she sounds clueless to me. i believe you would have to be rh negative to attack your baby. you might ask again and let her know you misunderstood.

I am 30 weeks, and Rh negative, which neans that if the father is a positive and by chance the baby's blood mixes with mine, then my blood will form antibodies that work against the baby's positive blood. Anyone who is Rh NEGITIVE recieves a Rhogam shot at 28 weeks to prevent this. When i deliver, i will recieve another shot of this as the blood mixes in delivery, the baby would get a shot as well. However, if your blood is Rh positive, so will your baby's be positive and this doesnt concern you at all. I would ask your doctor to recheck though because my sister had a miscarrage when her negative blood mixed with her baby's before getting the Rhogam shot.
