Question About PCO And Having More Children

Hello all! I am about 2 weeks PP. We tried for a "little' over 1 year to conceive, and were successful after two rounds of clomid, one round of injectables and our 2nd IUI. (12th cycle)I was diagnosed as having PCOS by an RE, however I had cycles that were between 32 and 39 days apart, and I never skipped. My ovaries showed multiple follicles, however my OB was not convinced that I had PCO. All blood tests came back within normal range also. My question is that it took us some time to have first baby, what are the chances of it taking the same for baby 2? Also, does it really sound like PCO? I am having Major anxiety, and I know that it is too soon to try, but I want to be ready. Has anyone ever had difficulty conceiving first baby, but had an easier time with subsequent children?

Hi Mollie, I am in the opposite boat as you. I have a two-year old little boy who we conceived quite easily; however, we are currently ttc #2 and having a difficult time. We started last spring, and I was diagnosed with PCO in October. We got pregnant in Jan. only to lose it in March. The RE has encouraged us to wait 3 full cycles before trying again. I have had one full cycle, but not sure if I am ovuluating this cycle or not. Anyways, congrats on your new baby. I would love to chat with you about your experience.
