Krissy are you usually on the June mommies thread? Samantha what about you? I am in California and I am usually up until 10pm....plus my dh is watching some history channel c___p so I can hang out for a bit.....lol

Aww Megan is such a pretty name. Where are you in California? That is where I am originally from, (Ventura County area) but now I live in Washington (hicksville USA) LOL... I dont like the contractions/ bh or whatever it is I am having at all!! UGH! But if it brings me closer to labor and holding my baby, so be it. :)

This is actually the first time I use this website. I've been looking around for forums or chat rooms and things like that but I hadn't found one I like. I really like this one tho! I actually went into a chat room a couple of days ago and met a lot of weirdos :|

Yeah Washington state... yuck... if hubby and I could afford to live in California still we would, but no way in hell can we afford the prices there. They are insane, and especially with the housing market the way it is... So you have only gained 9 lbs... overweight or not thats awesome. I was overweight to begin with too and have gained 65 :( eeeeekkkkkkk!!! But my doctor thinks that a good 40 of it is probably water weight. My feet are so swollen that they actually look like they're boiling with little white bubbles and everything. ITS DISGUSTING!!

I am in the High Desert....Victorville area between LA and Vegas....off of the 15 freeway...hicksville I thought that was where I used to live in Illinois...LOL I think it would be great if they added an instant chat feature to this sight...you could add friends etc.....oh well....My boys are Tristan and Aidan so Megan is perfect for our little family do you use a laptop? I notice my lap getting smaller and smaller...LOL mine(contractions or whatever) are just annoying and I get them most nights right before bed....I make a lot of noise moving and my dh gets a little alarmed since the preterm labor scare I tell him I am fine just makes me feel better to grunt

Samantha, I wouldnt suggest chat rooms. There are a lot of weirdos that hang around on them. (not to say there arent weirdos that hang around on forums too) but on forums i think weirdos dont have the patience to wait around for people to respond. ya know? In any case to answer your previous question. Yes this is my first baby. And about the episiotamy, if your doctor numbs you correctly and edequately you won't feel anything. :)

I've been trying really hard to eat healthy and exercise so I wouldn't gain so much weight cuz I was "overweight" when I got pregnant :| but even tho I try ....I gained 5 lbs in two weeks I found out at this last doc appt. Woops?

Samantha just the other day I ventured to cafe mom and I did not like it - people pretty much just post but not really talk to each other like we do here ...I just get irritated when everyone else is off living a real life and not keeping me entertained on here...LOL We bought our first house in 2002 for 128,500 my how times have changed but some newer houses have dropped to around the 150's so it's getting affordable here but we aren't in the pretty part of California at al....its' brown and ugly and HOT as Heck from June to October....Krissy no signs of pre-e? i had a lot of water weight with my first I had gained 80 pounds and it took me 2 weeks to not look swollen after he was born

hahahaha, tina, that is too funny. I dont use a laptop cuz my nephew ruined mine. ugh! But I have short legs to begin with and since my belly has grown my family has taken to calling me, the reverse emputee (because my legs seem to be shrinking from the hips forward) I dont find it particularly funny but they think its hilarious. As for my husband, he is leaving for his brothers wedding in mexico for 5 days on thursday. He is so nervous that my baby will be born before he gets back on tuesday. I just shrug (because we fought about it tooth and nail) and say its your choice to go. LOL... but other than that he sits around watching me like im a ticking time bomb...

Samantha don't get down on yourself about your weight ....I dont' know why I am not gaining because if I was eating this way and not pregnant I would be gaining for sure

Yeah I hadn't been on a chat room in a really long time...and I forgot how weird people could be. Within a matter of like 15 minutes three guys messaged me who were into pregnant women. :| Gross. I got out of there really quick. Well about the episiotomy....I guess I thought that if you had a natural child birth they wouldn't do anything, medication wise, if they had to do an episiotomy. Dumb me :P

Yay for the tres amigas... fluffyy and pregnant.. (cuz I dont like the word overweight) LOL... Samantha, this last appointment I had gained 8 lbs in 2.5 weeks. My doc was like well . . . just kinda shrugged her shoulders and said she thinks Im gonna be one of the mommies that loses about 30-40 lbs of water weight in the first month after the birth. I sure do hope so!! Wow, tina you do live in the high desert if you live that close to vegas. Yuck, it must be nasty muggy there around this time of year. My sperm donor (ahem) biological father is a c___ps dealer in vegas and when we used to be on good terms I would visit him in the summer and YUCK!!! 1000x worse than california. Where I used to live in CA was about 45 mins southewest of los angeles.

Yeah I try not to let my weight get to me. I actually checked out cafe mom too...and I didn't like it either. It's just like you said, people post but don't really conversate. I'm from Texas, very south Texas....so it is VERY hot right now down here. I wish I would have been this pregnant in the winter! lol would have been alot more comfortable
