when i first found out i was pregnant my doc told me my due date was the 6th of may, after my ultrasound they changed it to the 20th of may. my first due date was given based on my lpm, the new one was based on ovuation (i think). my neighboor just recently had her baby this month and our lpm were exactly one month and one day apart and she had her son on the 7th (she went one day over her due date).
so this is were im confused...my doc said the 20th of may, WIC says the 6th, i actually asked her doc and he also said the 6th and last month i went to the hospital bc i was having contractions (they stopped them) and the nurse asked if my due date was the 6th and i told her the doc said the 20th and she asked what my first due date was, so the hospital too is going with the 6th. i actually asked my doc at my last appt if it was the 6th or the 20th and he said its still the 20th. my doc is not very nice either, most the time i just dont ask him questions bc he acts like he doesnt want to even be there and when i do ask questions he gives short, vague answers to leave quickly.
anyhow, my question is: when am i really due? should i expect to go into labor at the beggining of may or the end?? i just want to be ready when the time comes. thank :)
