6 Months Of Clomid Still Nothing

I have a silly question...I was on clomid for 6 months and this is my first cycle without it. My Dr. thought it was a good idea to take a 6-12 month break. My question is...Once you aren't taking the medication any longer is it still in you system? If it is still in your system how long is it there for? Thanks for any insight.

When I stopped clomid, my dr said that it will stay in my body for another cycle.

I thought you should only take clomid for a 3-4 months. I know who produce more eggs, but it also hardens the uterus making it hard the egg to attach...read that somewhere but I could be wrong

well, her doc is monitoring her, so she must be handling the hormones pretty well.... The biggest argument for not taking Clomid for more then 6 months is the risk for Cancer goes way up after that point.
