In my family we have 8 sets of twins...I'm now 5 wks pregnant. I went in for my first blood test at 2 1/2- 3 wks and my hcg level was at 240. I went in for my second blood test 5 days later, and my hcg level was at 2273....I was only 4 wks / 2 days....can that be possible twins?? Not sure if that's a high hcg level at 4 wks / 2 days?? Anyone??

It sounds highly likely! Did you every find out for sure. What did your doctor say?

i had my hcg level at 4 weeks and it was 450 i just had my first ultrasound and i am having triplets

I have similar HCG results. I am 4.5wks today although we originally thought I was 7.5wks today. Because there seemed to be a "problem", my OB ordered a cervical ultrasound and another HCG level. My level was 3127 and my ultrasound showed twins. So, it is possible. But high levels do not always indicate twins, it could be due to other medical problems or you may just have high levels :-)
