I started taking clomid as I have PCOS and my fertility doctor started me at 50mg and eventually worked me up to 200mg. He said that normally 200mg is not used, but in my case wanted to "exhaust" the clomid before moving onto the "next step". So, has anyone else been prescribed 200mg? I did get pregnant on the second round of 200mg and am also wondering if that high a dosage increases my chances of multiple births? We have been ttc for 6 years and am 10w1d pregnant. Would be very happy with one healthy baby.....still not sure how I feel about multiples. I have had three ultrasounds as my doctor really wants to keep checking on how many......to date only one, but she also says that it could take up to 5 months or more before multiples show up. Anyone have any info to share? I would really appreciate it.

If you've had 3 US and haven't seen more than one it is very unlikely you'll have multiples. GL with your pregnancy!

I got pregnant w/my triplets on only 50 mg of clomid. My first U/S was at 5 weeks where we saw 2 sacs and then again at 7 weeks where we saw the 3 sacs, so if you have had that many U/S already I would think it is safe to say that you are at least not having triplets (I have heard of 1 "hiding" behind another so it is difficult to see, however).
