Hello... i took a hpt last thursday and friday...both showed up positive...so i called the doc to make an appointment...it was also positive at the doctors too... but my big concern is...i had my period in January...and it didnt come for like 2 months...so i went to the doctor March 23, 2005 and he did a pregnancy test on me then it showed up negative...also he did some blood work on me too...everything came back normal...he put me on some medication...called Medroxyprogesterone 10mg. 1 pill a day for 10 days...my period finally started again March 29, 2005...it lasted for 10 days...i did not get my period again in April...so i went to the doctor and found out that i was pregnant...he says im 5 weeks and 1 day along according to my LMP...but if this is true why do i look like im 3 or 4 months??? My mom thinks it might be twins...but i wont find out till May 13th 2005...i was just curious to what you might think...does Medroxyprogesterone increase my chances of getting pregnant??

I dont know anything except that I had a v____al ultrasound at 5w5d and they say a heartbeat. I had another u/s today (6w5d) and there was 2 heartbeats and two babies. A lot changed in a week. They just couldn't see them both the 1st time. Also, I am 5'3" and 108 lbs - I have gained 8 lbs so far. It crossed my mind that I was having twins because I gained the weight sooo fast. I guess I was right.

I got a positive test one day after my period was late and that day, I felt like I had done 2000 crunches. It still feels that way, I am just more used to it now.

i'm 10.5 weeks with twins (first pregnancy) and am getting bigger MUCH faster than my friends who are pregnant with singletons. It's crazy how much bigger you get (great, huh?). I had my first u/s at 6w1d and saw both sacs and heartbeats. If you are 5 weeks, you could look a lot farther along due to bloating and it could be twins. Well, you find out tomorrow!!! well i just got back from the hospital...they did two kinds of ultrasounds on me...a v____al and an abdominal one...its still way early to see anything...so they are gonna get the pics read and let me know what they find out...so i probably wont know anything till next week!!! GRRRRRRRRRRR im going freakin crazy!!!As soon as i get picks ill post them!!! They are talkin about rescheduling me for another...better luck next time i hope!!!

hopefully you'll find out something monday morning. the only time weekends stink is when you need the doctor! :)
