Can Nuchal Transluency Pick Up Twins

I had a nuchal transluency done a few weeks ago and it showed one sac but i was wondering if they could make a mistake as I have been pg with twins before(although one died) and twins are in my family.
I am in my 14th(nearly 15th) week and STILL suffering from m/c.
Just wanted to know if I COULD be carrying twins and they have done a mistake ta
