Conceiving Twins

I amn 20 years old almost 21. I am not planniong on TTC for at least 3-5 years but I just had some questions. Twins do not run in my family and I am not obese (just overweight) so I don't have any predisposition to twins. I had heard that cassava yams can increase chances of twins as well as folic acid. They make supplements from the Cassava root. Would that be the same as the yams themselves in have a higher increase hyperovulation if I start taking them now? And are there any other herbal/food tricks that can raise the chances more. I can't take clomid because as of right now I have no fertility issues that would require clomid and I have regular cycles. I know you can get clomid without a prescription but I could never risk doing that because it can cause cysts and with how fertile I am I could end up with way more then twins. I'm just looking for healthy natural ways without medicine. I won't be to upset if I don't have twins but my reasons for wanting them are because I have bad colitis. I don't know if my body would be able to handle handle more than one pregnancy and I also wanted at least 2 children so twins would be like a blessing to me. I don't just want twins because they are "cute" or any of those superficial reasons as they are a lot more work. Sorry if this comes off the wrong way and if anyone has any questions they want to ask me feel free.

Honestly, I think if you're body is meant for it and you aren't genetically predisposed, it shouldn't happen. It's not something to try for. I'm only in my first trimester with twins and the symptoms are awful. On a daily basis I have one or all of the following: gas, bloating, heartburn, constipation, headaches, nasal congestion, extreme fatigue, insomnia, nausea, diarrhea, itchy/scratchy throat, b___st pain, rib pain and abdominal cramps. In addition, twins make for a high risk pregnancy with higher rates of high blood pressure, diabetes and pre-term labor. All of those things could result in one or both babies dying (even very late in the pregnancy) or winding up in intensive care for weeks. I don't know why anyone would wish to see their babies in an incubator poked and prodded- and that's basically the almost-worst scenario to expect when you have twins. I didn't want to have children and at 32 was pretty shocked by 1 let alone 2 babies in my belly. My lifestyle was pretty awful and it goes to show that eating or taking herbs probably doesn't matter as much as genetics. I was smoking a pack a day, drinking 3-4 cups of coffee a day, eating a lot of fast food, and taking a prescribed amphetamine for ADHD. I was far from the picture of health and unless chicken McNuggets count as supplements, I wasn't doing anything special that caused this pregnancy.
