I am pregnant with twins 7weeks..One baby is the right size but they are saying baby 2 is much smaller and may not make it..My question is could it be possible that each baby was concieved at different times so that is why one is smaller? Any thoughts?

How many days behind is the little one? It is quite normal for one baby to be a few days behind, due to different implantation dates. You are still very early so try not to worry too much -- you will still be having at least one, if not two precious babies! :)

I had a similar experience. My u/s at 6 weeks showed one sac much smaller than the other. The doc told me to be very cautious about expecting the smaller one to develop. But at my 8.5 week u/s there were two babies, just about the same size, both with strong hearbeats. I feel like its almost harder on us to have the technology to learn so much about our pregnancies so early on. They tell us what they see, but can't answer all the questions this creates. Good luck!

Hi there! First of all, best wishes to you!!!
In response to your question, my twins were diagnosed at 11wks/6days. At that time, Baby A was 4 days bigger than Baby B. My last u/s I was 20 weeks and Baby A was approx. 2oz bigger than Baby B. They told me this was completely normal and the babies were doing just fine! HTH!

I am a fraternal twin - 18 years old. When I was born, the doctores told my mother that my twin brother and I were concieved two weeks apart! I am still trying to find info on this for myself
