I'm taking 5mg Folic Acid for medical reasons and on my next cycle hope to take 50mg Clomid - what would be my chances of conceiving twins?

My OB said that clomid increases the chance of twins by about 10% (for women who don't normally ovulate like myself). I am currently 31 wks. pregnant with boy/girl twins and my first pregnancy resulted in a beautiful girl (also a__sisted with clomid).

UKMouse - I am 36 years old - I have three children conceived una__sisted - can O on own - my mother is a twin and i am on my second cycle of clomid 100mg-trying to conceive twins. I also take 800mcg of folic acid. Last cycle I didnt O until day 19 of my cycle. That is really late for me. Apparently O'ing late is common when using clomid. This cycle I did some things a little differently. I bought a digital OKP. I also took 20- 5mg prednisone for four days on cycle days 1-5, clomid 100mg days 2-7, 600mg guaifensin (mucinex)(started today cycle day 9 and will take this for 14 days and baby asprin started today will take this for 14 days. I will also use preseed when my OPK indicates high LH surge.
So hopefully all of this will result in TWINS,

i was prescribed clomid when I didn't get pregnant after years of trying. I freaked because I didn't want to "end up on the cover of Time Magazine". My doc laughed and told me that clomid has low incidence of twins, compared to drugs like Pergonal. So I went ahead and took it,and had only one baby. A couple years later, I discovered I was pregnant, una__sisted by clomid. Ironcially, I found out in week 7, my first appt, that I was pregnant with triplets! I hadn't taken clomid, but maybe after having my first daughter, who was conceived on clomid, my body kind of figured things out. I guess there are nohard-set answers. Good luck!
