Does A High HCG Level Mean Twins

Just finished a cycle of IVF. ER was on Oct 24 and the ET was on Oct 27th. Yesterday at 5 wks 3 days pregnant {embryos are 3 weeks 1 day} my hCG level showed at 7821.8, progesterone was 399.48 and estrogen was 2571.2. The doctor wants me to come in next week for a va___al u/s to confirm for twins.
Does anyone else know what their levels were at this point in the pregnancy? Do you think it really might be twins?!
