Early Cramping With Multiples

For those of you moms with multiples, did you notice and cramping the week after ovulation and if you did, was it attributed to implantation cramping. Was more severe than regular cramps? Please share.

I had cramping just like AF was coming until about 15 weeks. This is my first pregnancy so I really don't have anything to compare to. My mom told me that she always had cramping with her pregnancies and she had all singletons. I'm pretty sure it's a common pregnancy symptom with singles and multiples.

I think I actualy cramped more with my singleton than with the twins. The only early difference with the twins was that I had implantation bleeding.

Bahootie, when do you get your beta test?

I had menstrual type cramps (not more severe, though) with my singleton but it was also my first pregnancy, so that probably plays a huge factor since the uterus has never been stretched before. With my twins, I had no cramping at all, and never noticed when I was ovulating with any of my pregnancies and I conceived 2 sets of twins. Both my nieces cramp during ovulation but have no twins.

Thanks for all your comments! Freebird, to answer your question, I probably wont do a beta until I get a positive pregnancy test. I am on day 22 and had an IUI with 4 follicles released. I have never expirenced this type cramping at this time in my cycle. I was doing some reading and I began to see that there a lot of other women began cramping around the same time as I was. It was really painful and lasted about 24 hours so I was kind of concerned that maybe more than one was taking root. I hate to get my hopes up but this cycle feels so much different.

Do you think it could have been or is a cyst? My niece can feel when she ovulates and one month she was doubled over in pain during that time. She couldn't stand it and went to the ER where they did an u/s and said that it looked like a cyst on her ovary had burst.

I too can feel when I ovulate and it is painful, but this pain was not in that area, it was lower down by pubic bone. The cramps have stopped as of yesterday so I am hoping it might be implantation. I know they say most women don't feel it but I seem to feel everything in that region. My hsg was excrutiating, my iui was the same.
