To all the moms of twins, how early did your stomach start growing... I am not even 7 weeks and I am measuring 17 weeks... I literally grow daily! My husband an I are just dumbfounded, I can't even wear my regular clothes anymore...this is my third so I know I will show alot sooner, but I look like I am alot further along... people have even started asking me when I am due..any thoughts?

Oh, I should add... I can't be any further along then 6-7 weeks because JUST had my IUD removed and a clearly negative pregnancy test a week before I got my positive. I only had a chance to go through 2 periods before getting pregnant...could the leftover hormones from the IUD increase my chances of having mulitiples?

I didn't start measuring large until about 14 or 15 weeks, although my twin pg was my first. If you're really concerned I would get an ultrasound. It's the most reliable way to tell. Good luck!

i agree with freebird i think i was 16 weeks when i started measuring bigger. somewhere between 15-16 weeks my tummy went from measuring on track to 5 weeks ahead. but it too was my first pregnancy. when do you get your first ultrasound?

most twin pregnancies don't show bigger until the second trimester because by then, the babies will be big enough that having two will make a difference. My friend was pregnant with her second and looked full term by 18 weeks and she had yet to feel the baby ( just one) even move.

I have an appointment for an ultrasound this Thursday.. so I guess I will have to wait until then, does anyone know of any other reason I would be growing so rapidly?
