I'm new here. I thought I already posted this, but I couldn't find my post anywhere. My questions is- I've seen people talking about day 3-7 and cd on 14. On the days 3-7 when you take your Clomid, 3 days after starting AF? Or 3 days before AF? Also, what does cd mean? I saw that it mean "cycle day" Do you start at day 1 being the day you start AF? Just curious, never had to take this kind of medicine before. I would love to time it right. :) Thanks!

Sorry, one more question. I am taking 50mg, if I was to go to 100mg, would that increase my chances for twins? I am on this because my husband has low sperm count.

Day 1 is when you start your period, has to be full flow and not spotting, dont count spotting as day 1, thats waht the other ladies have told me here. i am also taking 50mg and this is my 2nd round, going to 100mg is when your 50mg didnt work, i dont know if it increases chance of getting multiples. Good luck.

ur cycle starts with the 1st day of full flow, so that is cd 1. if u r taking clomid cd 3-7, it means that u start on the 3rd day after af came. I also read that taking clomid on cd 3-7 increases the number of follicles present but there is a chanec that they might not be mature; when it is cd 5-9, u get fewer follicles, but they are mature. The more follicles, the more chance of getting preggo with twins or more. Wait and see if 50mg works,i think that is how dr works, if a dosage does not work as in there are no follicles forming or maturing, the dr will up the dosage after a couple of months, i think! Good luck to u
