wow! That's alot of water. Well done! You seem to be drinking enough, but if you live in a place where it is really hot, you must drink tons. I was pregnant through the winter, so it was not so bad. You definately need to drink more with twins, it's a fact. Especially if they are in 2 different sacs, you are replinishing the fluid in both sacs. Drink as much as you feel you need, but be careful not to drink too much at one time, that could make you sick. Good luck!

excessive thirst during pregnancy is a sign of gsstational diabetes if you are over 35 and or overweight you are more at risk (dont know your situation) prob best to talk to ur doctor, its very common and relativaly easy to manage and it goes as soon as babies are born, having said that its also normal to be thirsty in pregnancy and chances are its nothing, hope that helps x

When I was pregnant I drank c___ploads of water. At least 2 to 3 litres a day. Drinking lots of water can help stop premature labour. I always had a huge cup of water with me. It was the only thing that took away the brutal heartburn. I made it to 36 weeks and I even went into premature labout at 32.5 weeks. So keep on drinking. And don't worry too much about gd because you willbe tested for it. Just eat healthy food and keep away from refined sugar.

Hi Dani, My book (When your expecting twin triplets or quads~Proven guidelines for a healthy multiple pregnancy By Barbara Luke) says "Aim for at least eight 16oz gla__ses of water every day." They also say dehydration can trigger uterine contractions, the hormonal changes during pregnancy can make you more prone to urinary-tract infections (which can trigger premature labor), and that these pregnancy hormones can leave you constipated (Drinking water improves regularity) By the way this is the most informative book on multiples pregnancies I have ever read.
